must get: smashburger deluxe combo (comes with drink & fries) or chicken salad triple decker + onion rings would skip: their fries this place is a blast from the past; retro posters and signage with pastel pinks and blues! i can’t stand grand / over the top diners that serve monstrous portions while charging an arm and a leg. the portions here at 57s are perfect and the pricing is fair. there’s nothing really wrong with the fries, but i really would recommend upgrading to the onion rings! they’re so crunchy and it’s a full onion sliced battered with no fillers. our waitress was soooo personable and attentive (i unfortunately don’t recall her name but she was a brunette sweetheart with glasses)! i’ve been going to 57s ever since i attended the school nearby and its amazing to see that quality and community is still amazing as ever. can’t speak for their breakfast but their lunch is top tier! my little cousin loved the shirley temple!

57’s checks all the boxes. The food is spot on, the service is quick and friendly and the vibe is fun and relaxed. Love sitting at the bar or the retro booths. The breakfast here is great and they know how to cook their eggs. The coffee is nice too. I had a breakfast wrap with avocado and hash browns on the side with salsa and it was perfect. Have also tried the grilled chicken sandwich which came out on a garlic toasted hero (great quality bread) lettuce, mayo and juicy red tomato. Added steak fries because they’re the best. Can’t recommend this place enough. I live right near Neptune diner and walk all the way to 57’s instead because they are that much better.

I had a cheeseburger that was the juiciest burger I’ve ever had. The bun was toasted, pickles were so fresh ! The sweet potato fries were the best! It’s one of my favorite places to go when I’m in Queens, New York for the best Burgers! Greek salad! Milk shake made from the Greek guys!

This is my third time ordering from this place and i absolutely love it. The Cheeseburgers are right on point the flavor is amazing, the meat is very juicy and flavorful also their wings are banging very tender and very nicely done. I highly recommend this 57 Burger place if you’re a big Cheeseburgers fanatic. 100% highly recommend. 👌🏻

My family loves 57's, they love to eat there and also the quick delivery service too. The variety of food means everyone can be happy . There are 4 different kinds of fries! I love the grilled zucchini and Italian wrap with pesto. The chocolate cake is excellent too. We have also used 57's for catering parties and they never disappoint! Highly recommend this great unique neighborhood neighborhood restaurant.

Been coming here since they've opened many, many years ago. Only come for breakfast but need to try lunch/dinner. Breakfast is always reliably good. Best sausage of any diner I've been to and great fresh o.j. Service is always quick and friendly. Hands down the best diner in the neighborhood.

Yes we were there today great dinner it’s like walk down memory lane with all the pictures they have on the wall. Food was very good. My wife had roast beef Panini it’s called the Al I had the cheeseburger patty melt both were very good. We also Ordered onion rings and French fries the onion rings were the best I had in a long time The service was great Highly recommend this place so try it. Let me know what you think.

This is a nice neighborhood diner with nostalgia decor. Definitely has a traditional vibe from 57!! The kitchen is located in the middle of the restaurant and you watch your food being cooked and prepared. Our server was attentive and brought food fairly quickly. Breakfast was delicious. Home fries had a delicious flavor, and portions were generous. They serve fresh squeeze orange juice. Overall, this was a nice experience, and will continue to visit. Also, they sell beer and wine and have brunch specials.

The food wasn't great, but the service was very good. My waitress was Dina. She's excellent. There seems to be a lot of regulars in there. They must be doing something right if the same people keep coming back. The ambiance was nice. 50's theme. I look forward to trying there breakfast next time

Love the tuna melt and curly fries!! Have had it several times. I also love their smashburger- delicious! For breakfast, the holiday wrap is my fav with added jalapeños. Such a treat, def a place to indulge. The decor is very retro, it's cute, the place is I clean and the service is quick. It's usually not busy to eat in, so there aren't a ton of other customers needed ur server's attention. The takeout is really quick, too.. like less than 10 mins quick. Oh and the orange juice is fresh and delicious!! Worth the money!!

Ordered two burger combos with fountain drink with onion rings and curly fries. Actually surprised the reviews were low here -- I actually think it's pretty good and fountain drink was a nice touch to the meal. This actually might be my go to for a burger place. Def recommend

First time visit for brunch on the weekend. Interior was set up like a 50's diner. The only thing missing is a jukebox at your table ( there is a full size just behind us ). There were handling lots of takeout and food delivery hence our breakfasts was not as fast as I expected. Still, it was hot and delicious. Their pricing is about average compared to other diners.

A diner that pays homage to the roaring 50's down to the Interior appointments with a jukebox, bubble gum machine and radio receiver just to name a few things that bring the oldies alive. Where's the 57 Chevy bel air? :) The food here is not bad, with that said the main entrées we had were delicious, the sides were mediocre. The onion rings were overcooked and hard, the fries, cole slaw and pickles were blasé. As I mentioned earlier, the entrées are very good, the Marlon Brando burger was juicy and delicious and I love the over easy egg on top. The tuna melt was toasted nicely with a healthy slab of cheese, can healthy and cheese be used in the same sentence? :) The Edsel chicken sandwich was well seasoned, moist and delicious. Great customer service and the owners are super nice and friendly. If paying by cash you get a little discount.

Such a cute diner! It has a nostalgic vibe and good service. I had no idea they even existed. The food was pretty good, typical diner food. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

Super cute, 50's theme diner They only had 1 waitress when I dined on a busy Saturday morning, she did a good job keeping up with all the tables. Typical diner menu, they did have some "specials" which seemed interesting and most dishes come with fresh squeezed OJ. I had the Mexicali Press which was smaller than expected, very good but needed more spice. Coffee is on the bitter side, they have flavored syrups available which I got on the side and added in which made it more bearable.

Did an advanced order through Uber Eats for three people. A couple hours before the cutoff, I edited my order changing my soda from a black cherry to a diet root beer and removing the mac 'n cheese bites. They swapped the soda, but kept the mac 'n cheese bites without charging me. Strange, but hey, you wanna give me free mac 'n cheese bites? No big deal. What IS a big deal is that I ordered a chicken sandwich called the Edsel and it was the saddest chicken sandwich I've ever had. This thing was so greasy, I could practically see my reflection in the bun. I had to clean my hands off with a napkin every time I touched it. The inside was soggy. Completely flavorless. I could've made a better chicken sandwich myself, and I can barely scramble an egg. If this is how this diner makes all their sandwiches and burgers, then count me out.

Everything here is always super fresh it really is amazing I have been here many many times and I didn't ever give a review ! I have mostly been here for breakfast but I have ordered dinner food for delivery and I have never yet been disappointed!! It is a must !! I'm not a "diner" person but this is a restaurant with a diner flare and a really great menu !!! Don't miss out on it give them a try and you will keep going back !

I've taken my girls a few times after running errands in the area. They love the decorations. The drinks - vanilla sodas and milkshakes are amazing. We've only had the burgers and chicken so far. The waitresses are so patient and nice. I recommend if you're in the area and want a bite to eat. It's basically a traditional old school diner.

It's been awhile since we've been here but it's still so good that I had to write a review. We had a breakfast platter and steak panini. Nowadays it doesn't seem worth it to go to a diner for breakfast because prices are so high, but 57s was reasonably priced, well portioned, and cooked well. The steak panini was done just right and super yummy! Service was excellent and welcoming. Really great neighborhood spot that I hope stays open for a long time.

the food here was really good! i tried the curly fries, jalapeño poppers, and the marlon brando burger. the burger patty was a nice size and it came with a lot of fries. the curly fries and poppers were crispy and cheesy. the jalapeño poppers only used half of an onion rather than a full one. the restaurant was super cute, having those 50's vibes with their wall decoration and booths. the only thing was that our server wasn't too attentive to the table.

Disappointed. Been here before but really? I ordered a bunch of food but the size is so small. The wings were so small, I believe they came from a Cornish hen! Fries omg why? Onion rings were amazing! My wife's wrap was 90% lettuce for $18! My burger was delicious but should have gotten a double. Not sure it's worth it. Staff was courteous and accommodating.

I just order two chicken sandwiches both with grilled onions The onions that they put in the sandwich were the skins of the onions, they couldn't even be chewed it was like eating shoe leather. Absolutely disgusting. I don't know if they ran out of onions or what but this is unacceptable. By the way, it was $32 for two sandwiches and they don't even give you fries I also specifically asked for coleslaw and pickles, most diners give these things to you complimentary but 57s doesn't give them to you even if you specifically ask for it. Stay away from this diner, better off going to Neptune on bell blvd

The picture says it all. My boyfriend paid about $22 for two bacon egg and cheese on a roll and 1 hash brown. Pretty pricey for that but it's reasonable since we are purchasing from a diner. However, as I'm on my way to school, I open up my roll and come to find out there's a singular piece of bacon and like half an egg. Never been more disappointed. Paying 8-9$ for a bacon egg and cheese on a roll, you'd think they put at least a minimum of 3 slices of bacon. It was not the case at all. My bf paid basically for just bread. Minimal cheese in the roll too. This was not worth our money at all. The hash brown was normal size and tasted pretty decent. Overall, won't be coming back and very dissatisfied.

Went for Sunday brunch. Got seated right away. Nice diner with 50's decorations. The waitress is friendly and the food is fresh and hot. I love their home fries and sausage. My only complaint is the coffee is a little on the watery side. Other than that, my family enjoy it a lot.

This is my spot :) it has been for many in our area the food and the people are worth it. Lots of selections from their menu and all tasty however bacon egg and cheese is my to go. They always have it too .very clean , vintage decor and friendly staff let's not forget the kitchen staff too.

57s is consistent, FAST, and reliable. I probably order from them once a week and they always get my order right and honor my requests. Last night, based on a recommendation from my sister, I ordered a skirt steak salad. I am still in disbelief over how good it was. Perfect cook on the meat, still hot, and the salad wasn't wilted yet, so you know the order wasn't sitting before it got to me. Their burgers are fresh (they make a great patty melt!), fries are fresh and crispy, onion rings have a nice crunch while still soft in the middle. I enjoy the fajitas quite a bit as well. This is a solid diner and I'm so happy it's in my neighborhood.

Stopped in to have lunch with my son around 3pm on a weekday and the place was empty. Employees were sitting around just waiting for someone to walk in. I was worried this might be a bad sign. We were immediately greeted and seated. The server was friendly and brought our drinks right away. The space is cute and clean, reminiscent of an old school diner before they all became Greek with the same ol' menu at each and every one. Don't get me wrong I love the Greek diners but I miss variety. The menu here is very cool. The sandwiches and burgers, wraps, etc. are all named after celebs like James Dean, Marylyn Monroe etc.. I decided on the tuna melt because it's made the way I grew up eating them. Grilled on rye with American cheese NOT an open face tuna melt most diners serve. I was very excited about this small detail that I immediately said to myself "I love this place." Unfortunately it does not come with fries (weird) so I ordered a side of onion rings and ranch. The onion rings are advertised on the menu as being served with ranch because obviously whoever made up the menu knows how onion rings should be served. My son ordered a triple decker and said it was the best one he's had (this is the only thing he ever orders at a diner). He liked the turkey being moist and not dry. Also his bacon was perfectly crispy and the sandwich was served with the appropriate amount of mayo already on the sandwich. He also had curly fries and we shared a strawberry milkshake. We were very pleased with our lunch and will be returning.

The burger looked good but tasted like nothing.. I dont know how else to say it but it had no flavor besides the bacon, bun and ketchup. Literally dry over cooked choice ground beef with the absence of any flavor. Chicken ceaser salad with very little chicken and a dressing that looked and tasted like straight up mayonnaise. It wasn't cheap either. When I called to complain, the man who answered sounded "shocked" in my opinion on the food and explained how they pride themselves on their burgers. I didn't suggest a refund or anything like that because I paid for the food and finished it because I was hungry. I'm not one to write a negative review of an establishment but I didn't appreciate the man's tone and reaction to my complaint. "The customer is always right." Facts....

Ordered food through Grub Hub. When it was 30+ min late we asked for a status on the driver. Grub Hub said that the 57 All American Grill orders are delivered by the restaurant not Grub Hub. I called the restaurant and they said the driver was "about to leave". Food is now 40 minutes later than the ending time for the delivery range. Save yourself some frustration and avoid ordering delivery from this restaurant. Unless you don't care when the food arrives.

I've been coming here since I moved to Queens about 8 years ago. It is a neighborhood spot and now my son loves to go because they serve his food in an old-fashioned car! They have the best shakes, better than shake shack. If you get a sandwich with onions, ask for them burnt - omg so yummy! I tried a chicken salad with cheese this time that I saw on Yelp and it was really good. The staff is always friendly and personable. I told the guy I want the sandwich to look just like it does on Yelp and he said okay! He came over and asked if he did good and I said yup! LOL Big portion, I had half and took the other half home to hubs.

Been here once before, this is my second time. Not as satisfied as my first visit. This time the fries was burnt and philly cheesesteak was overcooked. The vanilla shake was good. The waitress wasnt too friendly. We had to request menus rather then it was brought to us as we seated.

This place has the most delicious fresh eggs I have ever had. All of the owners are exceptional handsome, especially the bald one. If I could eat every meal here for the rest of my life I would. They have the best service out of every restaurant I have tried (as an avid food critic I know what I'm talking about). I recommend going on a Saturday because the waitress is extremely fast and so so good at her job. Definitely recommend!!!

I heard some good things about this place so I had a special offer from Uber Eats and decided to cash it in from here. I ordered a cheddar cheese omelette with steak fries. Can't go wrong there. The food arrived in decent time. When I opened the dish all looked good. The omelette was a nice size and I received a very nice order of fries. I started to eat the omelette and was somewhat perplexed. The eggs were still hot but the cheese was not at all melted. I love cheddar cheese so it still tasted good but I don't think I've ever eaten an omelette where the cheese wasn't melted. It was like I needed a knife to cut the cheese so I could eat it. Strange. The food quality was still good. I was thinking maybe this was the way they make an omelette. I would be willing to try again and see what happens.

I ordered a country style fried chicken and a panini via grubhub. It was ok until my husband found a plastic wrap in the panini. My husband almost eat it. It was unpleasant experience. :(

"What happens in the garage, stays in the garage." My fiancé and I had an awesome garage diner dine-in experience! My fiancé found this unique diner while searching patiently on Yelp. The decor is very old-school, but there are lot of cool items, such as guitars, advertisements, posted all over the walls. Open kitchen. High quality food. Delicious breakfast platter and breakfast special. TIP: Breakfast specials: Mon-Fri until 11am & Sat-Sun until 3pm (in house only)! Delicious perfectly buttered toast! Freshly squeezed sweet orange juice with some pulp! Coffee is not that bad for a diner but not too crazy about it. Good/prompt service and our requests were fulfilled quickly. Very reasonable price on the menu. "A" grade posted on the garage door! This is one bad ass diner lol LIKE this diner a lot, a lot, a lot! Verdict: We'll be back for sure!!! PS: No parking lot. Street parking only. You have to look for parking in the residential area.

Today I found out that 57s All American Grill and Wow Cow a burgers have a very similar menu and are running out the same address. Since this address is being used by 57s American Grill they don't have a yelp for "wow cow burgers". Here is the review- it was a nightmare start to finish. I am 30 blocks away from them, literally. It took an hour and a half for the food to come. It was warm- no big deal that's how I prefer it anyway. My 12 oz Diet Coke that was 2.50 was FLAT. The waffle fries taste freezer burnt and they were very soggy. They were 6.50. I scraped the guacamole off my poorly constructed burger... $2. The rest of the order was ok- nothing special - never get a shake from here. I paid $9 for a 24 oz shake that they claim is "thick"... the shake was not thick... at all... So after all this I said whatever let me call the owner and see what he can do for me... his response was that I shouldn't have ordered it from Grubhub cause they take 40% of his sales and if I called him to place the order he would have maybe done something... he was yelling on the phone cause I said no customer should have to pay for freezer burnt fries or guacamole that's been sitting there for an hour on a burger. He continued to yell and blamed Grubhub for his disgusting food. He went to say that the fries were soggy cause of the way they were packed... cool.. YOU GUYS PACKED THIS NOT ME... I'm sure these two businesses are the same and they just made a new wow wow burgers on Grubhub to fool the locals that know this establishment has horrible customer service, the food is all frozen and prices are high. ( or maybe tax purposes )There are so many establishments close by that are cheaper and much better do not waste ur time... $51 for 2 burgers, soggy freezer burned waffle fries, 12 oz Diet Coke flat tasted like sugar water, 24 oz shake that was NOT thick at all again, it hardly had any weight to it, they blend whip cream with the ice cream to make it fuffy to fool clients but as being the owner of an ice cream shop I know all the tricks to make a milkshake look full but have no thickness or density to it. All I wanted was a refund for my guacamole, fries and soda- $10 give or take and the owner couldn't stop yelling and refused to refund me cause I ordered from Grubhub.. be aware people.

Whack!! I just ordered: Turkey Club platter 13.75 Thick Shake chocolate 5.50 The good: it was 5 minutes early.. -_- the chocolate shake is tasty, but basically choc milk at this point haaa. The bad: I'm included a picture of the "platter" that shows up cold and the shake that's the size of a 16oz. Smoothie cup. They legit just sprinkled fries in my container. The crap is overpriced, but I figured with the reviews and me craving a shake to go with my movie, why not? $24 bucks later, I'll never order from here again. Mind you, their only 2 miles away. I can't wait to move to Brooklyn, Queens is so whack.

I have both ordered for delivery and eaten in at their restaurant. The restaurant is decorated with all kinds of cool and interesting old-school memoribilia. The tables have always been clean and the service is always excellent. No matter what i order, the food has always been excellent. With regards to their delivery services via their online app, it has been flawless. Easy to view the menu, place your order and delivery has always been within 20 minutes (I live about 20 blocks away). The food has always been delivered hot and as it should be. The orders always come with an abundance of extra condiments.The drivers have all been very nice. Overall, I would suggest giving them a try. I think you will be quite pleased with every aspect of 57s. Everything here is done right.

If I can give this place zero stars, I would. I've been coming to this place for over 10 years and I've never been disrespected the way I was tonight. I was called an idiot just bc I asked the cooks to wear a mask. Just bc you're vaccinated doesn't mean you can't still catch covid. I did, and I'm boosted. So I don't think requesting a cook who prepares my food to wear a mask to be that ridiculous. Yet I was insulted and was told not to come back. That bald headed guy behind the cashier needs to be replaced bc he's rude and apparently very stupid. They just lost a loyal customer (and they barely even have customers).

This place is great! It has a nice 50s style decor, which always catches my eye. The food is great and has generous portions, not to mention very reasonably priced! My friends and I usually just order milkshakes and a ton of appetizers to split. The fries are huge, you can easily get one to share. I recommend cheese fries or sweet potato fries, sliders, chicken tenders! Also, can I just say that the milkshakes are amazing! After the first time I went, I knew I would definitely return! There is nothing negative I have to say!

Just ordered from this place. All I can respectfully say is.... gross. I'm sorry but my food was inedible. I got many things that were all sub par, however the Philly was the nastiest of them all. Do yourself a favor and stay away... far away. There are far better diners out there.

Very affordable American food They have great breakfast menu and also brunch I tried the burger there, salad are huge a d delicious. Prices are great They have a very nice dinner atmosphere however I usually just get it delivery. If you are in the neighborhood is worth it to try at least once.

No parking no parking no parking it's a diner it's nice inside it's food is standard it's a diner it looks clean inside i've had no bad experiences with the kid waiter or waitress I don't give it four or five stars because it's a diner the food is bad for you whatever you eat in there but that's just not this place that's every diner this type of food they can make a quick buck on their feeding the masses but that's fine that's business that's the business there in and it is what it is if you're walking or you find parking yeah go inside it's fine basically if you haven't figured out what I'm trying to tell you is it's a diner nothing special, nice interior. This place never disappoints. We came here craving burgers and were completely satisfied! I got the De Soto burger (cheddar cheese, guacamole, onions) I got a fried egg added as well. I ordered sweet potato fries to go with it and requested them CRISPY & WELL DONE and they came just as so. I was also pleased that they obliged to cook my burger rare! Many places refuse this to me. The burger was so juicy and delicious, the waitress was great. My friend got curly fries (crispy, as well). Each side of fries is quite large, so between the two of us, there were a lot of fries left over. We were so stuffed, we didnt have room for dessert. The decor inside is cute, nostalgic of it's namesake, the 1950s. Cool signs and decor to give you the Happy Days feel.

Always Inconsistent with their food. I order from here a lot and I regret half the times. I try to give them a benefit of the doubt since the delivery people are nice but this is probably the last time I am ordering from here. I am giving an extra star for the delivery service only

Had food delivered to the main st area which is too far to provide delivery to if the food won't remain fresh. My sweet potato fries were soggy. I asked dressing on the side and the only thing in my bag were 2 napkins, ketchup, salt and pepper. Not even any utensils. I ordered the impossible burger and I was mulling over the costs, $20 for burgers and fries but I thought it would be worth it. Not worth it at all. Maybe the food and what they provide for you is different as a diner but I won't be ordering from here again. A waste of money.
