Absolutely beautiful accommodation, appointed so that you didn't hear anyone else. Great size rooms and everything we could ask for. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

From a warm welcome to excellent accommodation, our stay could only have been enhanced by less rain ( which our hosts had no control over😆) |The rooms were very clean , equipped with everything we needed and of a high standard.|58, on Cron is very well placed in a quiet area of the village but close to all the amenities. We had a lovely meal in King Tiger, which is only 2 doors down from the accommodation, but there are lots of other very nice restaurants and bars, just a three minute walk in the other direction.

The rooms are well equipped with a microwave, toaster tea maker and refrigerator . They have no air conditioning . However, though it was summer, we did not feel the absence of the AC.. a small tabletop fan was sufficient . All rooms are on ground level so we don’t have to lug heavy suitcases up one floor like in other motels

We've had a great experience at 58 on Cron. The room is just right. We had a lovely greeting by the staff who gave us a run down on the town. We can park the car right in front of the room. Best of all it's close to the Alice May restaurant for dinner which has wonderful food.

Fantastic hosts who were very helpful in giving us local tips and places to stop on our way to Queenstown ( including making us aware of a road closure) . The motel is very clean with great facilities and very near to the shops and restaurants in the town.

A nice place to stay for a night or two. Rooms new and spacious. Clean and quiet enough to sleep nicely. Not much amenities; the desk is closed in the evening.

Although 58 on Cron is well maintained and in a good area, it leaves. Lot to be desired in my opinion. Let’s start. Mirror in room suits a 6’8” and hides behind a TV. Ventilation is poor. If you open the sliding door it closes off the windows. Close the door, get some privacy, you have to close the curtains. Still no ventilation. Oh there is a really noisy fan on a cupboard stand. Bathroom with the obligatory spa bath has no plug in the basin. Probably to discourage people doing hand washing? One tiny table (to be shared) with next door guests looks out into the car park and across into the next neighbours accommodation. Laundry service actually means self service pay as you go washing and tumble drier ONLY during specific hours. Who wants to do laundry when on holiday in such a beautiful area? Room windows are not double glazed for sound or to be environmentally friendly nor is the floor insulated. It must be freezing in these units in Spring, Autumn and Winter as the tiny little heater will certainly not cope. It seems these are converted containers? Maybe my standards are too high but I would really look around more carefully for more suitable accommodation.

Only stayed one night, very comfortable sitting inside watching the rain. Clean. Very enjoyable stay, would recommend.
