So many things went wrong here. I placed an order on Uber Eats and firstly, our food took two hours to arrive. Once it had been an hour I called the restaurant and they told me that the food was ready and they were just waiting for it to be picked up. It was a stormy night so their courier was moving slower than usual which I was very understanding of. After 40 more minutes of waiting, I called back again because I was getting worried about the sushi sitting out for so long without being delivered at that point. It came about 10 minutes later. I am gluten free and usually have no issue knowing what on a menu would and wouldn't be gluten free, especially with sushi. We chose rolls that didn't say tempura, etc, and yet 4/5 rolls we ordered had some sort batter, tempura, or crunch, which was not disclosed on the menu at all. So I ended up waiting 2 hours for food that I couldn't eat most of. However this story somehow gets worse: my allergy saved me because not even 2 hours after eating, BOTH of the people who ate the sushi threw up and still feel very sick. I don't know if this was a result of the slow delivery time or what, but I will absolutely not be ordering from here again. This is unfortunate as they were kind on the phone, but I just simply wouldn't take either risk.
