Reasonably clean. The shower curtain was moldy and also useless because there is enough space between the showerhead and the entrance. Just toss it. Zero soundproofing. You could hear every time a car drove by. Outside there was construction work with a jackhammer until at least 11:30 pm. Obviously not the hotel's fault but something to consider. Room got bright very early (around 7 am in November) because the curtain is very thin. Mattress was very hard. We had a gecko in the room. No problem for us but if you don't like them, not sure how you would get it out.

Personally, I adored this place. I was in room #3, single twin sized bed with fan and A/C, and I loved the room. It's felt like it was built just for me and had exactly what I needed for my stay there. It had a built in desk, a wardrobe that fit all of my things, a comfy bed, a fan that hits me directly at night, A/C to help cool the room down and two walls with tall windows that can be opened along with screens. I had no issue with noise. Between the fan on at night and the occasional rainstorm, I slept like a baby. The shared kitchenette and bathroom worked just fine for my needs too. Staff were kind and helpful. And the rates were very reasonable. If I was staying longer, it was nice that they had laundry onsite and I think they also had a cafe for breakfast but I didn't try either one of those things out while I was there. I would honestly stay here long term in the future when I come back to Chiang Mai.

Their cleanliness is the top tier. The location is easily access to many tourist spots. The parking lots also calm my nerves for the rental motorcycle I did rent daily as the hostel have enough space prepared for.

My stay at this hostel was kinda disappointing, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The hygiene was an issue—there was a strong foul smell coming from the toilets and the drainage outside, which was very unpleasant. The location is at the corner and also a bit problematic. While it’s close to bars, the noise from the surrounding area made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The most uncomfortable part of my experience was the attitude of the staff. The elderly lady managing the place was not very accommodating. After checking out, I asked for a cup of boiling water, but the request was declined, which felt unnecessarily strict for a place that is supposed to have a family-style atmosphere. Additionally, when I needed to store my baggage for a time before my bus departure, her response was far from warm or welcoming, which left me feeling awkward and uncomfortable. I think this hostel has potential, but the management and overall experience left a lot to be desired

My stay at this hostel was less than satisfactory, and I wouldn't return. The hygiene standards seemed lacking, with a strong unpleasant smell coming from the toilets and drainage. While its corner location provides easy access to bars, the noise made it hard to get any rest.

Very cool little homestay, it is very nice and cosy and has a shabby sheek kind of design, almost feels more homely than a hotel so dont expect everything to be perfect but it is very good value and has a amazing host, we had the double room with A/C, which was lovely and cold, great Wifi, shared bathroom which was always very clean and tidy and also a shared kitchenette / social area which features fridge, kettle, microwave and sink for washing up, there is complimentary coffee and teas and cold fresh water, the host is super attentive, good with information on local attractions and areas of interest and read the folder when you get in as it informs you of the market days and locations, sunday is a must market day in chiang mai, they also have a restaurant, which we never took advantage of as we only realised on the last day 🤦 but yeah was a very good stay, we was meant to stay for one night eneded up staying 3 just to explore but yes would definitely recommend.

I stayed 5 nights in this hostel and I already felt at home. The owner and Opal were among the kindest people I met in Thailand, and I couldn't hope for a better experience. They helped me much beyond what was their job and I'm so grateful I stayed at this hostel and met them!! Thanks again for everything, looking forward to seeing you again! Sara

Nice little budget guesthouse. We stayed in a triple. The room was decent sized but the air conditioner struggled. During the day it couldn't get the room very cool, but thankfully, it was sufficient at night when it cooled off outside. Shared bathroom on same floor. Kind hosts.
