My wife and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary here and we were both pleasantly surprised by the level of personal touch the restaurant and staff showed us from the very moment we checked in and wished us a happy anniversary. We then sat at the bar to have a drink while we waited for our table to be ready. The service at the bar was excellent and prompt, plus they had an ample number of bartenders to ensure everyone was attended to quickly. We were then escorted to our table and when we sat down, we noticed a card on the table with our name on it and a red rose made from a napkin. We opened the card and inside was a hand written note wishing us a happy anniversary. I've been to many restaurants where they were aware of a special occasion but never recognized it the way 618 did. 618 made it special and that was very much appreciated. We were then greeted by our waiter Kevin who was attentive and also wished us a happy anniversary. Kevin also provided menu recommendations which we followed and were blown away by how delicious everything was. From the little neck clams, to the short rib ravioli, skirt steak and the malfadine cacio e pepe, all of it had us wanting more. Kevin also recomm nded the sticky toffee cake dessert and it was fresh, decadent and we devoured it.. lol. To wrap up our night, Kevin brought us champagne for an anniversary toast, once again a level of recognition and personalization I never seen anywhere. This is also the first restaurant I've taken this much time to review and 618 truly deserved it. Keep doing what you're doing 618 and we will be back again!!! One last thing, Kevin metionioned 618' sister retaurant Mezcal, which the wife and I have heard of but have yet to visit and we're defintly intrigued because if it's anything like 618's food and service, it will also be another top-rated restaurant for me. I had the pleasure of dining here at 618 for a date night, and let me just start off by saying our server Kevin was spectacular. As good as the food at a restaurant may be, service matters to me the most. Kevin was attentive, friendly, and matched our playful energy making our date night that much more enjoyable. Overall a great experience with delicious food and cocktails. We had the crab cakes to start and the bone in rib eye + skirt steak as entrees. The rib eye was really the star of the show. My favorite cocktail of the night was the nor’easter, with the spicy boi cocktail being the runner up. For dessert we had the pistachio martini and banana dulce de leche gelato. I would absolutely dine here again, but I only hope to be lucky enough to have Kevin as our server again!

Had an outstanding experience at 618 from start to finish. Meghan provided incredible service—she was attentive, thorough, and genuinely engaging, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Her manager, Nick, truly went above and beyond. When he noticed me struggling to lift a table lamp to take a photo, he immediately stepped in to help—such a small moment, but it spoke volumes about the level of care and hospitality here. The drink menu has a great, unique touch, and the FIG-GETABOUTIT cocktail was amazing—creative, well-balanced, and absolutely worth ordering. Every dish arrived promptly and was clearly made to order. The Cajun BBQ Shrimp appetizer and the Warm Sticky Toffee Cake are must-haves. I also ordered the skirt steak, which was cooked perfectly to my request. The décor and ambiance are fantastic and really elevate the overall experience. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend 618 to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and exceptional service.

I had my daughter's baby shower at 618 Restaurant in the Oak Room. It was just wonderful. The atmosphere, food, and the service was absolutely top notch!! The servers June, Roisin, and Carly could not have been more friendly and helpful throughout the entire event. I wish I could remember the bartender's name, but she was excellent as well. (Possibly Taylor) The food was delicious, and the dessert table was filled with a delicious variety of sweets. I could not have asked for anything better for my daughter's baby shower, and all the guests raved about everything!! Thank you for everything, and I would recommend this venue to everyone!!

My sisters and I came here for my mother birthday. It was our first time checking out 618 but we have heard great things so we were excited. The experience was 10/10 perfection. They went above and beyond to make my mother feel special on her birthday. They provided a hand written card wishing her a happy bday and surprised her with a sparkler and dessert to a perfect end on a special evening. My mom ordered a pistachio mocktail and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they wrote “Happy Birthday Mom” in foam on the drink. Such a cute and personal touch! The food was also delicious!! Everything we ordered was perfect. My mother had the filet mignon which she mentioned was cooked perfectly. I loved my strip steak. And my sisters enjoyed their short ribs dishes. Overall, food, service, and ambience were all a 100/10!! 618 made for a perfect evening!! Highly recommend!!!

We came during happy hour and it was great, If you’re looking for some drinks and a bite after work or on the weekend to catch up with friends i definitely recommend stopping by for their happy hour. Lots of amazing options, drinks and prices were amazing! I was surprised by how big the portion sizes were for a happy hour option, and it tastes exceptionally well. The drinks tasted so good, i definitely recommend the Matt’s old fashioned and it comes with a show if you decide to smoke it. I can’t get over how good the hospitality was as well, easily the top 5 best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Waiter was exceptionally kind and helpful and the rest of the staff including all the managers were very welcoming.

we had Will as our server! he was amazing!! so good at explaining the menu and totally fit the vibe, we were a group of 8 and the service was amazing!! the drinks were not only entertaining, but also very good!! we had the carol mocktail, she sleigh, matt’s old fashion, mulled wine, mistletoe margharita, and prosecco, every drink was amazing (the mulled wine was extremely sweet!!!). drinks came out almost immediatly, for dinner we had the 12 oz flat iron steak (specials), truffle pasta purses, angry shrimp, and pork chop, and not one dish dissapointed. it was one of the best steaks and dishes ever!!!! the atmosphere is beutiful and dim lit. about 70$ per person, but would 10/10 recommend!!!

I had the incredible experience of photographing my best friend’s bridal party at 618, while also serving as her maid of honor. The Oak Room was beautifully decorated before we arrived and perfectly captured our “Last Chapter” theme. From a photographer’s perspective, the natural lighting in the space was stunning—soft, even, and ideal for capturing both candid moments and posed shots. Every detail of the decor and setup translated beautifully on camera. The team working the party was amazing. They kept the food coming, drinks flowing, and helped move the party along in the best ways, all while fully embracing our fun little sunglasses trend for a TikTok video. Their energy and attentiveness made photographing the event effortless and enjoyable, allowing me to focus on capturing memories without worrying about logistics. 618 is an incredible venue. The space, the staff, and the attention to detail made everything seamless, and it’s easy to see why this will be such a perfect spot for my best friend’s wedding as well. From a photographer’s perspective, the combination of beautiful lighting, versatile spaces, and a supportive team makes 618 a dream venue to work in. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We hosted my sister's bridal shower at 618, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating--truly above and beyond. Frank was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, making sure every detail was handled seamlessly so the day ran smoothly without a single issue. At the event itself, Jordan and Patricia were amazing. They helped with setup, stayed on top of every detail, and were always right there whenever we needed anything. Our guests kept commenting on how attentive and professional the entire team was. The food and drinks were excellent, and the venue was so flexible with all of the custom touches we wanted to include. Thanks to 618, my sister's bridal shower was absolutely beautiful and a day we will always remember. Highly recommend this venue for any special event!

After reading all the great reviews, I decided to check the place out this past Thursday night. Arrived on time for our 6pm reservation and the place was packed but there were several hosts at the door who all cheerfully greeted me. I was able to check in immediately as the line for checkin quickly grew out the door. Upon entering from the vestibule, you walk into the bar. The place is very lively, perhaps a bit noisy but the bar was fully occupied with several patrons eating at the bar. I was very happy to see several bottles of Blanton's on the shelves. Dozens in fact. This whet my appetite for a cocktail. After about 5 minutes of waiting, we were seating at a table in the middle of the main diniing room adjacent to the "wine cellar". A very busy intersection but there were no other 2 tops available. During the course of the night our server as well as other servers bumped into us on several occassions. Immediately upon being seated, our server arrived and asked for our drink order. We told him we were in no hurry and we needed to peruse the menu. He came back a minute or two later with water for the table and again asked for our order. We asked for more time. He seemed put off but took the opportunity to explain the specials listed on the first page of the menu and to push the specialty vodkas as well as bragging that he has been a server for over 40 years. After a while, we summoned the server and ordered a Blanton's and an Absolute with a spalsh of grapefruit and continued to persue the menu and wine list. Our server suggested to try the Beluga Gold in place of the Absolute. My friend agreed but I think the server should have told him it was $26 a shot since he was making the suggested substitution. There is something for everyone on the menu. The wine list was pretty thin but adequate. No real deals or value on the wines. We decided to split a flatbread and the burrata for appetizer. My friend has a vegan entre and I had the bronzino. We ordered a bottle of Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc. While waiting for our appetizers, we could not help but notice the great vibe of this place. Many tables of friends engaged in lively discussion as well as a few tables of families with very well behaved small children. People watching at times distracted our conversations. This is a great place for gathering either at the bar or celebrating in the dining room, but IMHO not the kind of place for that special meal or romantic date. After ordering our meals, bread and butter (no EVOO?) was brought to the table and in a short time, the appetizers arrived. The flatbread was awesome. Actually, we could have split that for appetizer or one person could have had for an entry. Flavorful and generous portion. We were not done with the appetizers when the entrees arrived. Not cool. Again, I felt we were being rushed even though we explained a few times that we were NOT in a rush. Regardless, the bronzino was flavorful and the vegan dish Im told was "nothing special" but enjoyable. After finishing our entrees, I inquired about after dinner drinks. e.g. Cognac, Armagnac, etc. Server said he wasnt knowlegable and he didnt offer to investigate. So we passed on dessert and asked for the check. I would go back, but I would insist on a different server and if possible, a better table location. Perhaps even consider eating at the bar. I also think $29 for a Blanton's is a bit steep but I was happy to enjoy the glass as I have not had one in a while. If you are going to eat at the bar, go early. By 6pm the bar was full. If eating in the dining room, reservations are a must and perhaps ask for a table against a wall and out of the main traffic lanes.

We hosted our wedding & reception at 6:18, and it exceeded all expectations. The rustic, elegant décor, outstanding service, and excellent food made for an unforgettable experience. The entire staff was professional, personable, and extremely accommodating from start to finish. Our coordinator Frankie, ensured every detail was flawless, and the servers Kate, Pat and the entire crew provided exceptional service throughout the evening. 6:18 is an A++ venue that truly delivers quality and care. All our guests commented how perfect everything was from start to finish, how incredible the food was and how terrific the staff were. Everything you're looking for and more is at 618! Highly recommend for weddings or any special occasion or simply for a lovely, romantic night out for dinner!

WOW - blown away by this establishment. One of the best meals I've ever had. If I could give them ten stars I would! From the moment we walked in for our reservation, they were kind, attentive and informative. Everyone at my table ordered a drink. They came with a fun display! We opted to order the prefixed course and all four people had the 618 experience. Started with granny's meatballs, short rib ravioli, and crab cakes. Then we had burrata, fried lobster, salad, scallops. Main course was steak, pasta, more lobster price, potatoes and carrots. We were skeptical that family style would fill us all, but it did! Ended with three desserts. Everything was phenomenal - full of flavor! They even places a nice candle in the dessert for my husband's birthday. Can't wait to return back!

We decided to dine here for my daughter's birthday. From the moment we walked in until the very end of dinner the entire experience was amazing. Our server Celine B. was so attentive, the drinks were unique and every dish we tried was delicious. We ordered: Apps: -short rib ravioli -crispy broken truffle spuds -crispy pork belly Mains: -chicken milanese -handmade fusilli Calapresi -Cabernet braised short rib with whipped mashed potatoes -10 oz spinalis Dessert: -double decaf espresso -espresso & Macallan 12 -pistachio martini -espresso martini shot The space is beautiful inside and the private parking lot is a plus. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I frequent 618 for drinks and dinner. The service is always top notch and the vibe is great! Last time we went we ordered a price fixed meal for 2 and it was $99 a person and here is what came for our dinner. It was delicious and filling and now with the GLP 1's that have cut down on our appetite this was the perfect balance! DEEELICIOUS

My husband took me here for my birthday back in August. I was not disappointed in anything except for the initial delay in seating us and wanting more cocktails from the bar before dinner. What I mean to say politely is even with reservations, there was a bit of a wait for everything, I assume it was due to it being a Saturday night at a 5 star restaurant in the summer. To be totally fair, our waiter and the food 100% completely made up for the wait!! I adored and highly recommend their vegan option, - the Vegan Mushroom and Lentil "Bolognese." The texture of the lentil is still memorable and the flavor of the cheese was great. I could have eaten double the portion on both the meal and dessert. I felt super special with the candle on my vegan sorbet for my birthday. Thank you for making my day extra awesome, we will absolutely be back!

Beautiful restaurant, very, very hip vibe. Plenty of parking. Great food. And possibly most importantly, absolutely phenomenal service from our server Rosa. I had a most delicious lychee martini. For my appetizer possibly the best pork belly I have ever been served. My main course was a very tasty pork chop but maybe the grits were a little salty. Looking forward to going back again.

Finally had dinner at 618, and the food was fantastic! I've known about 618 since I looked into them a couple of years ago as a potential wedding venue. We arrived on Saturday for an early dinner at 5:15 pm, and the restaurant and bar were already super lively. Thankfully, they offer complimentary valet parking, which is helpful since the parking lot isn't huge--especially if there's a wedding taking place in their upstairs hall space. The restaurant is very pretty and romantic inside, with rustic brick, large chandeliers, and decorative florals throughout. It would be a great date spot. We had a large booth table tucked away in a back corner, as we were a party of seven. The table was very spacious and had a lazy Susan in the center, which made sharing appetizers easy! We ordered several appetizers to start--meatballs, short rib ravioli, BBQ shrimp with grits, crab cakes, and the spuds. Everything was delicious; my favorites were the meatballs and the shrimp. For my main course, I had the pork chop, and my husband had the short rib. We both loved our entrées. The pork chop was a large portion, so I brought half of my dish home. The short rib portion was a lot smaller. Others at our table had the special snapper, the halibut, and the filet mignon. Everyone was happy with their dishes. We ended the meal with three orders of the pistachio olive oil cake--so good! My one complaint is that the drinks didn't feel very strong. There were also some service issues. Our large order of appetizers came out surprisingly quickly, as did our entrées. Unfortunately, all our silverware was cleared with the appetizers, so none of us had utensils when our entrées arrived. Also, only six of the seven main dishes came out initially, and it took several minutes before the final snapper dish was brought out. Other than that, it was a pleasant meal. Several managers were floating around the main dining floor and regularly checked in on us to make sure we were okay. I will keep 618 in mind the next time I am in the Freehold area and can get a reservation! There were several items I didn't get to try this visit that sounded interesting and yummy!

From the cozy-chic interior to the warm ambiance, it's the perfect spot for a special night out. We kicked things off with some gorgeous cocktails -- the watermelon margarita was refreshing, vibrant, and the perfect start to an unforgettable meal. Appetizers set the tone beautifully -- the jumbo lump crab cake special was packed with flavor, and the BBQ shrimp and grits (a personal fave) brought that Southern comfort with a gourmet twist. The meatballs were tender and rich, and the chorizo mac and cheese? Insanely tasty. For mains, everything delivered. The pasta bolognese was classic and comforting, while the cacio e pepe was creamy, peppery perfection. The skirt steak -- another personal favorite -- was juicy and full of flavor, and the braised short rib was so tender it basically melted in my mouth. Our server was attentive and offered suggestions. We wrapped it all up with some sweet endings -- their ice cream sandwiches are a fun and nostalgic treat, but the real standout was the olive oil pistachio cake. They added a special personal touch just for me, and that cream... I'm still dreaming about it.

Beautiful place with many photo ops inside. The server was funny & very knowledgeable. The food was very good. Crab cakes were on point, barely any filler. The short rib ravioli and pork belly appetizers were my favorites. A little pricey but worth it. Make reservations for as early as possible. This place gets packed.

romance? Passion? Intimacy? And that's just the food and drinks. ..first date? Maybe but.. topping this restaurant would be difficult -- unless you want to sweep them off their feet. The service is superb. I've gone 3 times and the waiters are friendly, with a smile that run like rivers of bliss -- it's not cheap-- but for a good time.. I recommend it

I've come here numerous times as it has become my favorite restaurant. Just an incredible experience from when you're seated until you leave. I've never had a menu item I didn't like. Truly a wonderful and enjoyable dining experience.

Service from Brandan was excellent. The different foods were super. The flowers and the decor were adorable. Sunday evening was a packed house. You definitely need a reservation here. Average cost is 80pp including one hard bev and dessert. All the managers were also helpful asking permission to clear used flatware & tableware.

Veronica V. went above and beyond to make our night extra special. Pumpkin pie martini was phenomenal, pistachio martini was amazing, smoked old fashion was so smooth and perfect. Short rib ravioli and baby artichokes are a must. We ordered off the specials menu which featured grouper and a Kansas City strip both cooked perfectly. Don't sleep on 618, you must go!

Came here on a Friday night for dinner with friends. We had a table of four and with reservations. the bar was packed and so was the dining hall. the place itself is pretty cool just don't know about all the decorations which made it look like a Hogwarts movie and but they had great music. Dim lights which made it hard to read the menu, it didn't help that the neighboring table was so close that every time someone passed by I kept getting bumped into which is pretty annoying. The food I must say was decent your typical American Italian food, Nothing really exciting to mention about it. Our waiter was great, very attentive, gave us her suggestions and was very friendly.

They offer complementary valet, but found parking in the front. We were seated by a big beautiful tree. The ambiance in this restaurant is stunning. Food was amazing service from Claudia was impressive. Will definitely be back. My only complaint was there was a lot of sauce on my dish which made it overwhelming. It was good leftovers the next day.

Not sure what all the hoopla ratings are about, because this restaurant fails where it counts the most - food. The service was excellent all around. From the moment we arrived the attention to detail of our special date was wonderful. From congratulations about our celebration to a card with our name on it. They went the extra mile. The server was superb. Friendly, helpful, polite, knew when to ask if we needed anything else without interrupting. The food, however, major fail. Long wait, too long. In fact the server had to apologize for the delay. The steak ($48 each) was bad. Very bad. Dry, COLD, drowned by mashed potatoes in a teriyaki sauce that I swear I use to marinate chicken in. The crab cake was horrible. Again, cold, tasteless. A bit of highlight was the desert, but by then it was obvious; this is a restaurant that has lots of flare but no substance. And I get the good reviews too. Not a lot of places to turn to in the area, so make it "classy" and hope the customer doesn't notice the taste. We'll, not this customer.

We have been going to 618 for years. The food and service has been amazing every time. I was just reading Matthews book "The Death of Hospitality". LOVE! I cannot wait to come back here. It was my first time trying this restaurant. I went with a group of three and we were able to make reservations online. Since it was during the holiday season, it was so festive and beautifully decorated. Our waiter was nice and answered any questions that we had. In addition to their regular menu, they had holiday drinks and verbal specials. I ended up ordering from the specials they had. The scallops and risotto were excellent. The scallops were a decent size and tender. It was very filling and flavorful. I also tried their red sangria which tasted good too! I would absolutely recommend coming here for special occasions, date nights, group dinners, etc. I can't wait to go back!

618 is a gorgeous restaurant. The outside isn't as appealing as the inside but when you walk in, it's a vibe. The food was delicious! Burrata salad is amazing, it has these balsamic pearls that are to die for. Everyone loved their dish. My only critique is that I wish the angry shrimp pasta was more of a creamy sauce, it's more liquid-y and they use bucatini pasta which make a mess when you slurp the spaghetti style noodle. Service was good. Def check it out!

Wow amazing place! Went for an anniversary party on a Sunday afternoon! Place is so pretty! Food was delicious! Servers and hostess were so friendly! Loved it and hope to be back!

Yup, I must confirm that the reviews are right. 618 has great food. Dined here last night for a cute little date night with my pookie bear, and we were both very happy with our meal! We were having trouble deciding what to order, so we opted for the chef's experience. It was $99 per person, and it includes 3 apps, 2 entreés, and a dessert to share. The buratta salad was our favorite of the apps with the shortrib ravioli as a close 2nd. I was not a fan of the meatballs - they were spongey. Entreés were outstanding. The scallops were meaty and seared to perfection. The steak was also a true medium-rare and WELL SEASONED!! Our dessert was a delectable pistachio cake. I'm a frosting girly, so I was extatic when I saw a thiCCC (with 3 C's) pile of frosting on top. To finish it off, we were given 2 pistachio mocktails on the house! A fairytale ending to our storybook dinner. Service was top tier - shoutout to our server (I don't remember his name, sorry...but he was a tall lad with blonde hair and blue eyes) he took great care of us all night!

We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday at 618 in Freehold, and the whole experience was outstanding from start to finish. We arrived a little early for our 8:15 reservation and relaxed at the bar, where the bartender mixed a perfect martini exactly how I like it. The staff was warm and welcoming right away, and the hostess even complimented my girlfriend's dress. When we were seated right on time, there was a handwritten birthday card waiting for her at the table--a thoughtful touch you don't see often. Our server, Bri, was exceptional all evening. She kept our water glasses full without us having to ask, checked in at just the right moments to see how we were enjoying the food, and made sure everything came out perfectly. My skirt steak was tender and full of flavor, and my girlfriend's salmon was fresh and delicious. Even though we passed on dessert, Bri surprised us with a beautifully presented ice cream topped with a sparkler and candle. It was such a fun way to end the night. We also had the pleasure of meeting Josh, the manager, who stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. He's an incredible manager--genuine, personable, and clearly passionate about creating a great guest experience. 618 has it all--fantastic food, flawless service, and a team that makes you feel like a VIP. We left talking about when we'd be coming back.

The place was already packed at 5pm on a Saturday night, and was overflown by 7pm when we were done. We came here for a birthday celebration and it seems a lot of neighboring tables were here for the same reason. Ordered three types of appetizers and five main dishes. The memorable ones are the special Sea Bass with Risotto and the Pear Stuffed Pasta. Others were meh. The deco, as mentioned by another reviewer, was Hogwarthy and it was hard to read the menu and see the food.

Been trying to get here for a while. Finally made it. Nice place. Make a reservation. Started with a couple of cocktails. They were good. Had the stuffed mushrooms. It was more like a mini mushroom burger the truffle potatoes and short rib ravioli. Everything was good. Shared the shirt steak. Liked it. Wish the portion was a little bigger. Our waitress was wonderful. Prices are high. But it was worth it. My one complaint is. It was very loud in the dining room. Not music just acoustics in the room are not the best. Otherwise it was a nice experience

Service was outstanding - James was our main man and he was extremely accommodating. We wanted for nothing! Attentive and knowledgeable, James understands what it means to provide outstanding service. Food was delicious. Love the menu. Looking forward to returning to try more. Drinks were perfect, unique so tasty but a little overpriced. The setting was cozy and fun. It was apparent every single staff member cared about their jobs. I rarely hand out 5-stars ~~ 618 is a 5 star venue. Highly recommend.

Consistently great service, food and atmosphere. I have seen this building change restaurants several times throughout the years but 618 is here to stay. I've watched the building expand and the interior become even more beautiful with every renovation. The menu doesn't change often but there are always specials to switch it up a bit if you come here a lot. The bar menu constantly changes with inventive new drinks and their presentation is always phenomenal. Service is another place where 618 is consistent. Service has always been good. If you're in the area, I highly recommend.

First impression made before arrival...Carrin for the Win! She answered the phone win I called to inquire if they had any reservations left or if we could just walk in. I quickly told her I was about 3 miles away at another restaurant that'll shall not be named who overlooked our business...Carrin said no worries, we got penciled in for a 7:00pm and we're on route. Upon arrival, we were very pleased to see the Valet since it was a rainy night. We checked in and headed to the podium, where we were instantly walked to our high top table as promised. The ambiance was beautiful, they have rustic, modern charm with a warmth flowing through the dining area. We could see the mixologists moving through their orders, we could see the good times other patrons were having and the many impressive food plates being transported to tables. Our server, Mike P. Was so friendly and nice, never pushy or anything other than gracious and knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. We ended up meeting Carrin and instantly thanked her for her hospitality and even left a compliment to one of the supervisors of the night. All in all, we would absolutely return due to the level of red carpet treatment we felt. The setting, the food and the staff all 5 stars!

Had a lovely dinner at 618 where the service was spectacular. We made last minute reservations on a Sunday evening and were seated immediately. The inside is intimate, yet inviting. It's not as dressy as they advertise. The food was decent. The Branzino was pretty good (I've had better), but the halibut was tasty. The Cacio e Pepe lacked authenticity but the sauce was very flavorful. The golden hour cocktail was very sweet. The honey overpowered the bourbon but it was good. The hacienda was refreshing. The vanilla bean gelato was a nice size helping and so so so good! The toffee cake was too rich, but would have been paired nicely with ice cream/gelato. I definitely want to return and try more dishes!

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Rick at 618, & he went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. Not only did he provide fantastic recommendations without being pushy, but he also took the time to create a truly personal moment for us. In passing, I mentioned that we're having our wedding rehearsal dinner at the restaurant, and to our surprise, Rick brought out a drink with a custom topper featuring our wedding date and the phrase, "The Next Adventure Begins." It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture that completely made my night. Rick's warm and attentive service, combined with his ability to create special moments for guests, sets him apart. If you have the chance to dine here, I highly recommend asking for him--you won't be disappointed! P.S. no need to even mention the food in this review as the food is ALWAYS amazing and never misses. Everything is 10/10

We had an incredible family dinner at 618 on Thursday night. We were sat in the front room which is more quiet than the other space, which was perfect for our group. Jonathan was our server - he was exceptional! His service was thoughtful, attentive and fun. My brother said 618 is now the best restaurant in Freehold, and Jonathan was definitely the best server! As for the food, we shared Caesar salad, meatballs, stuffed mushroom and the truffle ricotta pasta purses. The truffle ricotta pasta purses were a favorite for all of us! It's hard for me to resist ordering the short rib at 618 - it's always delicious! The bubble cocktails were fun, but the espresso martinis were out of this world! Love that you can choose to add baileys, or keep it dark. Love that they have blue cheese olives for martinis as well!

I've only been to 618 for a sweet 16 and that was years ago. Came on a Wednesday to celebrate a graduation. They were having Wine Down Wednesday which I didn't know about until will we got there but I was super happy. The music and ambiance were amazing!! For appetizers we got a burrata salad which was good, the pork belly which was super fatty and i loved it, and the chorizo mac and cheese which was to die for but I do wish they put more chorizo in it. We also were very happy with our entrees. I got the steak special which I think could use more flavor or at least more salt. But still good. I love the to go drinks they offer. They are delicious and aesthetically pleasing and I don't see many people doing that. Our server was Mariella and we loved her! She was really great, informative and personable. I had a tree nut allergy so she made sure to go the extra mile for me. 10/10 experience and definitely ask for Mariella as your server if you can!

What a wonderful experience my first time dining at 618! 1 went with my two friends and we loved everything we ate. The chef's special salad with kale, goat cheese, and apple slices was amazing. I had the scallops from the chef's menu and it was outstanding!!! I loved the inside decor for Christmas. The temperature was pretty decent, maybe slightly colder than I'd like but only by a little and I was fine eating without my coat. We had an earlier dinner and noticed by 5pm and on it started getting quite crowded. Everyone was so friendly. Our server, James P. was great! He explained the menu and helped answer any questions we had. He was very attentive (refilled water on table and filled glasses, and cleaned crumbs and finished plates from table) and made sure we enjoyed all of the food we ordered. He provided excellent service! Overall, loved my experience here. My friends and I stated we would definitely be back soon. I surely can't wait to come back!

Just moved here was craving great Italian food and wine ,,,,, got them both. Sat at the bar I was alone but the BREAD, meatballs and stuffed mushrooms were amazing Will definitely be back when I'm a full time freeholder

I've been here a few times now and every time I come back it doesn't compare to my first time there. The service is always excellent, it is the food that isn't as great as the last time. When I come, I always like to get the toast with the ricotta on it. The first time we got it it was a tomato version but this time around it was a lemon version. It honestly tasted like Lysol - something seemed off about it. My mushroom ravioli was delicious and the pasta purses are always a hit. There was a bug that landed in our food and after talking to the manager was able to get another serving. Another favorite is the baby artichokes with the broth being so so good. Overall, I would never say no to coming back here as it is always a pleasant experience.

Another amazing night at 618! The food,service and atmosphere were so great that we can't even imagine how it could improve!

Our waiter Austin was awesome. He was outstanding very friendly informative and his customer service was Outstanding, I highly Recommend 618 one of the best places in Freehold.

If you enjoy being treated like a walking credit card this place, has you covered. Our waiter spent the whole evening hard selling us like he was working on commission pushing add-ons nonstop. The sticky toffee cake was laughable - a reheated mini dessert with four sad, broken pecan bits scattered on top for $15, then came the kicker he insisted we add banana gelato carefully forgetting to mention the $9 dollar up charge. This isn't a restaurant - it's Restaurant Depot food, dressed up with fake charm and waiters who act like your new best friend while nickel and diming you at every turn. Save yourself the disappointment and the bill and eat literally anywhere else! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Just dined at 618 yesterday with our family of five. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was very nice, and our server was really very personable and efficient. With drinks and wine, the bill was just south of $1K (as I expected it would be). There was, however, one fly in the ointment that may very well cause me not to return. While everything was done with a degree of class, they added a 3% credit card charge. This amounts to nickel-and-diming a clientele that has expected to pay whatever the luxury of fine dining would cost. Do most patrons of 618 pay cash? I would guess that 100% pay by credit card. Should I expect a seasonal heating or A/C charge? Make the prices what you want and need but don't insult us by adding a charge for what IS an overhead expense like some fast food joint.

Phenomenal service! From the moment we walked in, the attention provided was top notch. Our table was being prepped so we sat at the bar where the bartender was very friendly and quick. As we were directed to our table, the ambience was of a modern fine dinning. When we arrived to our table, there was an envelope with a card wishing us a happy anniversary. Things like this go a long way to make a customer feel special. Our waitress Max was an absolute gem! Her personality and willingness to connect was like no other and again is something customers value! She provided recommendations and honest feedback - she was spot on for everything we ordered. She then surprised us with their award winning martini! She went above and beyond. From start to end, the experience was amazing!

Went for the first time with friends. We had a very quiet table in the back room. The waitress, Claudia, was very pleasant and had a wonderful personality. When we were seated, she gave us a few minutes to get acclimated and to review the menu and cocktails. While we were looking over the menu, one of the managers came over to introduce himself and to let us know he was there if we needed him. We ordered drinks and sat eating their delicious, warm bread. Time to order, we shared a 618 salad that came chilled and included baby lettuce, hearts of palm, tomatoes and Fetta cheese, topped off with balsamic vinaigrette. Delicious. My main meal was Angry Shrimp and pasta. It was mixed with toasted garlic, stewed tomatoes and baby spinach. My husband had mashed potatoes, skirt steak with guacamole and chimichurri sauce. Both our meals were very tasty and the steak was medium rare. Our friends had salmon and branzino. All delicious. We all shared a dessert.

Amazing dinner, staff and atmosphere! Their menu is decently sized with a bunch of options and our entire group left happy. The drinks were delicious and our waitress was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Can't go wrong with the pistachio martini
