61Prado Hotel

I’m only on my first night here and already so impressed! From the moment I arrived, the staff has been incredibly kind and welcoming — especially the front desk lady who went above and beyond helping me carry my heavy suitcases (she’s seriously strong 💪). She made sure I was comfortable and settled into a perfect room. Dinner tonight was absolutely amazing — the steak was one of the best I’ve had in all of Colombia, cooked to perfection. I’m honestly tempted to order it every single night until I leave. Everything so far has been 5 stars across the board — great service, warm people, and delicious food. Can’t wait to enjoy the rest of my stay here! Also, they have the cutest dog here!

I booked this hotel because it had excellent reviews, and I must admit that the hotel lives up to its good reputation. The location may not be attractive, but don't let that deceive you. The hotel is charming and has a cosy environment. The staff is very nice, and the restaurant serves excellent food. It also has a very spacious garage. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a week and are so glad we did. Extremely friendly service, great food and cool roof top views make up for the somewhat shady location (but it is central). The hotel dogs, Mila and Julia, helped us feel at home!

I first arrived and Medellin in 2018 and I was lucky to find 61 Prado. Since then, I’ve been back to the hotel at least 20 times. And this last time I stayed five months. 61. Prado is not like a hotel. It’s like a home. Lucas and his staff are like family to me. The prices are extremely reasonable, I love the rooftop terrace and the restaurant is outstanding. I eat there at least twice a day, every day. And I love the rooms. They’re comfortable spacious and quiet. I sleep like a baby there. Really you must go and stay there if you’re coming to the city. Another great thing is that many international travelers stay at the hotel and I’ve made some very close friends. I can’t say enough about 61 Prado. I’m very thankful to have found it and more than likely. I’ll come back and stay another five months.

Whow what a hidden gem! Beautiful hotel at a unexpected location. Friendly staff, good restaurant (with veggie options 👌) Great hot shower and good beds. Definitely coming back here!

I've stayed here on several occasions great deal with awesome owner operators. The.rooms are comfortable and clean. Service, whether laundry or breakfast is exceptional.

Great place, great owner. They resolve any problems you have quickly, and are very helpful and friendly. Also, the rooftop has an amazing view!

Really enjoyed this hotel as it had a wonderful vibe about it. The staff are all wonderful - the receptionists are very helpful and the 2 cooks do a fabulous job of making delicious food at very reasonable prices. Great value for money and very easy to meet people too! Shall definitely go back if I'm ever in Medellin again.
