Beautiful beach. Private to the town only. A lot of steps lol. It's a bit cold and in the shadows in the later afternoon so go earlier if you want sun.

The North Shore is just absolutely beautiful. 67 Steps is referring to the number of steps you need to go down to get to the sand. This beach is in a residential area. Parking is limited. Signs do indicate that a permit is required. Plenty of boulders to sit on while you wait for that sunset 😍. This beach is the Long Island Sound. If you don't have a parking sticker, you can walk if you are staying locally or you can ride your bike. There are no facilities here. Great spot to swim. You can pack a picnic. You can just sit and listen. It's a serene place.

What an amazing beach! So peaceful with beautiful different color rocks and sizes! I recommend either walking here or getting dropped off over to this location. The surrounded areas are locals who live there. To get a parking permit is challenging because again (locals) don’t want just anyone at the beach! So plan in advance go walking which has a beautiful path to the beach. You get to see beautiful houses and sometimes bunnies!

As an artist and photographer this a beautiful spot to get inspired and gather reference material. Great for rock hopping and beach combing too. I need to see a sunset here! The parking is a little tricky though as it is for residents only, so I go when it's not busy and keep my visits short. Here is a 30x30" acrylic painting I did of the area.

Went here on a drive through the many vineyards nearby. If you grew near stoney beaches, this is your area. The water is cold so expect a brisk wake up experience if you go for a dip. The sunset from here is also picturesque and worth the visit if you don't go for a dip.

This beach is technically set up (as far as I can tell) to be used only by people with permits, but I've never had any issues. Theres tons of space and I always bring my dogs to enjoy alot of shallow swimming in the sound and climbing along the rocks in the surf. Because of the rocks I always feel it's a better beach for the dogs or kids to play around in, not so much for a beach experience. But that's my kind of ideal day, love this beach!

Perfect little rocky beach, accessible only by wooden stairs as the name suggests. Its the best beach if you just want to enjoy the ocean in this part of the Long Island with clear waters and perfectly round colored pebbles
