6th Street West Apartments Austin

Perfect location, great in walking and biking distance to everything. Good size apartments for a great prize. The perfect experience for my first year in Austin. Very nice and helpful staff, never had any problems, I would move in again.

I would highly recommend 6th west apartment since the location very accessible to downtown. Would also like to give a shout out to the whole team everyone is so generous, they lend us furnitures for the house which is very kind of them specially Tito Ferdinand whose been there for us before and during move in process. The apartment was peaceful and quiet has a safe environment. The units are affordable, spacious and comfortable! Would surely recommend this apartment!

I have never and probably will never live in such a great apartment. The team is professional, quick, attentive and caring. Anytime I have a maintenance question or request they take it seriously and follow up quickly. I’m so happy I live here!

My experience living here was very good! The apartment is a little older but i think the location and cost make it worth it. Very walkable area with a handful of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops that are close by. Alex and Chris in the front office are great and the maintenance team was solid whenever something needed to be fixed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a central location.

I absolutely love living at 6th street west. I just resigned my lease for my second year and it was an easy decision. The location is perfect. It’s beyond affordable for the area. The community is friendly, respectful and mature. I think one of the best parts is how wonderful and communicative the office staff and management are. I haven’t had any issues other than one or two maintenance requests and those were addressed promptly and fixed so quickly! I’ve lived other places and have never experienced anything like this. I couldn’t recommend this anymore. Thank you to Chris, Julio and the whole staff!

Overall great place to live! I moved to Austin a year ago and chose 6th street west apartments as my place to live. It has been a great place to with friendly staff that are always willing to accommodate you. If there ever was a minor problem they made sure that it was fixed ASAP. Apartments are nice and clean and you cannot beat the location! Had an amazing experience living here and would recommend to anyone.

Updated review: I was able to address these concerns with Chris the apartment manager. We were able to resolve the towing issues and pest management. The apartment is older but lovely. I love the location and for the cost it is a really hidden gem. This place is very affordable to live in. Close to many amenities, coffee shops, and restaurants. But living here comes with ongoing roach problems. I have seen 8 roaches in two weeks, constant issues with the dryer/washer and having my car towed despite having my car registered. I totally regret moving here and wouldn’t recommend it

I have resided at 6th Street West Apartments for approximately two years and cannot recommend this place enough. Having spent my entire life in Austin, I've lived in various types of accommodations – student apartments, houses, luxury apartment buildings, and a condo. However, none of these places can hold a candle to my experience living here. I initially chose this location due to its convenient positioning and affordable pricing, even if it meant forgoing amenities like a dishwasher or in-unit laundry. Not once have I regretted making this trade-off. I work at UT Austin, which is a mere ten-minute drive away even during rush hour (especially if you take the scenic neighborhood route). Additionally, during non-peak hours, Mopac is just a few blocks away, providing easy access to many parts of Austin. The convenience of this location is something I've come to cherish. Lastly, the management of this property (and all its affiliated properties, I presume) is in a league of its own, surpassing any other experience I've had or even heard about. This translates to remarkably prompt maintenance responses – usually within an hour or two. It also translates to meticulous upkeep. The property is exceptionally well-maintained, and it seems that there's always someone working to enhance its appearance. I've enjoyed the pool countless times, and it's consistently nearly spotless. The management's genuine concern for its residents truly shines through. A heartfelt thank you to Alex, Chris, and the entire Westside staff for making this place a genuinely exceptional living space!

I won't rent from another management group in Austin! The property is well kept and everyone is so friendly. Location of this complex is really great too - best value in the city.

Management is kind and on point! I asked for maintenance a few times and was never disappointed, it was done on time and done right. The area is clean and the nearby attractions are great, I found myself walking to a park or to a restaurant every weekend! The rooms are rather small but this is a cheap price for living walking distance from downtown.

Great community to live in. The staff is attentive & communicative, I've enjoyed living here. I love that it's very centrally located but also on the edge so it never gets congested when there is an event in town. (Which is often) Access to the running trail is also extremely close so that's also another plus.
