I had a great experience at 7 Devils last night! For starter’s the atmosphere gives off a cool sports bar theme, that reflects parts of Oregon, such as the ocean. The tables and floor were very clean, and initially, nobody was at any of the other tables, likely because drinking doesn’t start until later in the evening. Our waiter was exceptional, she went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience, offering recommendations about some of their iconic food items. After the time we ordered, it took roughly 20 minutes for the food to be ready, that’s a reasonable time. The food itself was sensational, I got the Rockfish tacos, which had fried fish, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, with a side of their own sauce and pickled carrots. The combinations in these tacos really went together, and it tasted very fresh. All of our food was really good, while the waiter walked by, I saw her carrying a big plate of nachos to another table, and those things looked loaded. I was definitely satisfied with 7 Devils, and I’ll be returning the next time I’m in Coos Bay.

Google
Tried the Symbiosis Fig Stout, drool. It paired nicely with the nachos plus porks option. Shared the nachos with my +1. We both were satiated and happy. Nice friendly employees. We like this location only because the menu is more to our liking.

Before we left the coast, my wife had to have more fried oysters. Yes, they are as good as everyone says...if you like oysters. I went for the Calamari and a side salad. Great place to sit on the water, have some food, a beer, or in my case, an espresso martini. ENJOY!

I stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring the area and was initially underwhelmed by the menu, which seemed somewhat limited. Nothing immediately jumped out at me as a must-try. However, I decided to give the Korean Beef Tacos a shot, hoping for something different. Let me tell you, I was blown away. These tacos were absolutely incredible. The flavor combination was unique and incredibly satisfying. I'm not sure what magic they used in that sauce, but it was truly exceptional. Honestly, I would return to this restaurant solely for these tacos. They were a revelation. Despite my initial reservations, I'm so glad we decided to stop here. It turned out to be a fantastic surprise.

Google
Oh my gosh…we were so pleasantly surprised at how good the beer and nachos were. The perfect way to end our day after a long hike.

Google
Went on a Sunday night. Server was friendly, service was quick and one of the best nachos I’ve ever had. Great beer as we have come to expect in the PNW! Wished they would have started the fire for us as it was a little cold but they said they were waiting for the musicians to arrive for that. Still, would return!

Google
Roasted cauliflower is sooo good. The IPA is great too. Looking forward to trying the 2nd location on the waterfront. The lady from Idaho is so sweet. It’s her 2nd day OTJ.

Google
We tried Seven Devils for a Saturday lunch date and it was just fine. The server was nice, we were sat quickly, the food came out quickly, but it was under seasoned and not as good as other places around. Overall it was good, and I'm sure the drinks and beer are great (we only got one cocktail) but it's not a great meal place for us. - - - Poutine: and it was good, but the fries felt a little over cooked. Thai Chili fried chicken: It was good enough. I liked the bite sized pieces, but was confused of the bed of crushed peanuts and celery ribbons and felt it needed more salt. Shrimp and grits: My husband said it was good but needed salt and he was disappointed in the shrimp. Huckleberry lime drop: My Husband said it was really good.

Yelp
Popped in for a drink and snack, both of which were delish. Loved that there was a man playing the guitar on a random weekday. We got an appetizer which was some fried chicken- haven't stopped thinking about it since. I would return the next time I'm in the coos Bay Area.

Yelp
We were looking for a place with outdoor seating as we were traveling with our dog and this place fit the bill. We sat outside on a rainy night, the waitress was nice enough to turn on the heaters for us and I am happy to report that we were not forgotten or ignored being the only table on the patio. That being said I honestly forget what we even ordered so I guess it wasn't incredibly memorable as we were there only about a month ago. But we would go back again.

Yelp
The third stop on our Oregon coast brewery tour. We had some good beers and even very good whiskey taster. Service was friendly and the location is beautiful. The service was good but a bit over priced on some items in my opinion. Overall a nice place for a cold beer and snack.

Yelp
Greta food and service. Also, kids friendly and amazing atmosphere. We went on a Friday evening as we were passing through Coos Bay.

Yelp

Yelp
The best chicken tenders ever - anywhere. Best sauce. The Oregon berry bbq sauce is heavenly. Chicken was crisp and juicy. With a ton of flavor. Ambiance is fun and inviting. Friendly and attentive staff.

Johnny D.

Yelp
Well, food wasn't bad, but it only took 35 minutes for drinks....our wait staff didn't seem to be present, or attentive. Then with the automatic gratuity added, we weren't too inclined to leave much more of a tip...the wait staff didn't seem inclined to try for anything beyond automatic gratuity, which probably drove the lack of service.

Yelp
New menu since we were here last. Not a big fan of the chicken or fish. Server was top notch.

Yelp
Such a hidden gem in the middle of a road trip! Staff was absolutely great, food was amazing, beers were great as well and we were super satisfied and the price point was insanely low tbh. We left super full, happy and also didnt feel like we spent a lot at all. What else can you ask for! Will definitely come back when im around and HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone in the area!

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch during a trip to the OR coast. The service is friendly and started off quick. Unfortunately we had trouble getting our check and paying so we could be on our way. We shared a cup of gumbo and 3 beef tacos. The gumbo was great! Big chunks of veggies and chicken. The tacos were a little dry but adding a lot of the green salsa helped. There are lots of pictures and posters of past music events making it interesting to look around.

Yelp
Picked up a couple of their veggie dishes to go. Both arrived quickly and were super delicious. Had a wild rice bowl with mushrooms that was the standout of what we ordered. Fresh tasting, flavorful!

Yelp
Your Yelp page shows all this yummy food and you changed your menu I May and didn't update your page. We came for a lot of the things you no longer serve! So disappointing! Server was friendly, the outdoor seating was great because we brought our dogs. They even brought them a big bucket of water. Colored pencils and coloring was a cute idea. Food was meh.

Erica R.

Yelp
waitress did not even check that the tab was paid before chasing us out in the parking lot when me and my fiance paid plus with tip, worst experience. Bad service bad management and mediocre food

Yelp
Great brewery and one of the few places open on Sunday. They have lots of outdoor space and ample room inside. We sat in the bar and the service was good. Good was good, wish they let you get a variety of the tacos. Beer was yummy and loved all their gear.

Yelp
We had a big group, adults and kids. The kids loved their food. They were very impressed by the presentation and insisted I review it. I had a bahn mi and it was very flavorful. Good ambience. Good parking for larger vehicles.

Yelp
It was a wonderful lunch! Veggie sandwich, tuna melt, grilled cheese, ffries with a side of guitar playing was lovely. They have gluten-free food with fresh local. Great service on a Monday! Thank you Kindly!

Yelp
I had my 2nd visit here recently. The 1st time I really enjoyed the fried chicken wrap so much and how it went so wonderfully with the Endless Summer Blonde. I kept thinking about that forever, and was happy to return. This 2nd time back was about 6 months later, and the menu had changed. I got the chicken sandwich which was great too. But I liked the wrap better, especially as the Summer Blonde goes wonderfully with avocado. I enjoyed the Blonde so much I bought a pack (and the one of the Coos Light) to take back to Washington with me. Turns out they both went terrific with my salads, especially the avocado and tomato, and my quesadillas. Both visits I had very friendly and helpful service. What a gem this place is. Please stay yummy, friendly, warm, and cozy !

Yelp
This is my go-to spot for beers and sunshine! The Devil's Flock is my favorite snack and it is pet friendly too! When we have people visiting, we take them here as we are always guaranteed good food, great beer and friendly service! The tuna melt is delicious! The soups are worth trying, the beer is always good!!

Yelp
Having to spend some time while my vehicle was being serviced. I stopped here to try their gumbo. It did not taste like gumbo or have the texture one gets from the liquid part when using gumbo file but if this had been crawfish etouffe, it would have been okay. I have not had any gumbo since being in Louisiana back in the late 90's so it was with anticipation of enjoying this dish that led me to 7 Devils. Service? The ladies handling the place are very nice. Inside one sees plenty of clean attractive space. I do not imbibe alcoholic beverages but a good meal will keep me coming back. Alas, the gumbo did not do the trick so that is why I gave a 4-star rating. YMMV when it comes to dining here. Everything else seems fine as can be though!

Yelp
Food was fresh and tasty. We had wraps - one fried chicken & one fish - and they did not disappoint. Service was pretty quick and very nice. Ambiance is what you'd expect at a brewery/brew-pub.

Yelp
We had gone to the 7 Devils Alehouse last year and wanted to go back; however, they were closed today. Luckily we discovered that this location was open. The decor is so amazing. From the Ron Burgundy painting to the elegant light fixtures up high, the overall vibe is so cool. Our server, Haley, was super friendly and prompt. The Endless Summer Blond ale and Spindrift IPA were tasty. Lastly, the food was exceptionally prepared. My son and daughter-in-law really enjoyed the crispy oysters and the fish (ahi) and chips. I loved my rich and creamy mac and cheese. My husbands had a huge BBQ chicken sandwich. Overall, an awesome dining experience.

Yelp
Delicious food and easy stop with our dog as venue provides seating outside - pork ribs were awesome and the soup was hit and homemade
google avatar

Yelp
Had a great dinner. Fried oysters, chicken sando, oyster po boy, tacos all really good. Cocktails were great and beer too. The best was the service. Julian and Colbi were friendly and went above and beyond.

Yelp
Great food, great beer and great service! The ambiance was also superb with the cozy fireplace and view of the water. Fish & chips is delicious and so are the crab cakes. So good paired with an IPA!

Cyril P.

Yelp
I recently spent 71 dollars (before tip), here for two people. The $20 po boy had 3 oysters and side fries were 5. Cauliflower app was a blob of mush - so soggy, luke warm and greasy. Ice tea, side salad -was just some spring mix with no toms, cukes or any garnish. Waiters were sloppily dressed, fake smiles just baring teeth, abrupt attitudes. Def will not go back to get ripped off again.

Yelp
This is my go to place almost every weekend and I've been dying to try the new menu. Needless to say, It was just ok. The fish tacos were good but kind of underwhelming. The elote dip was the same, edible but not worth getting again. SO bummed the og menu isn't coming back.
google avatar

Kerry W T.

Yelp
Good beer just disappointed that there beer prices went from $7 to $8 for a pint when living on a fixed income makes it tough to go back
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
Great food and excellent waitstaff. Oh, and very good beer. Tuna melt sandwich was excellent. Really enjoyed it. Atmosphere is cool. They have done a great job of designing the place, inside and out.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very nice place with convenient parking! There was plenty of options but we decided to just try a few appetizers! The servers were very attentive and polite! Our food was served promptly and everything tasted great! Really happy we made it out there!

Yelp
This used to be the go to spot for meeting up with friends. This used to be the go to spot to show off to family visiting the area. The chill vibe feels have left the building. I don't understand why you would change the menu that brought all the locals to your place every week. Tacos? There are Mexican restaurants everywhere in Coos county. Matter of fact, right around the corner is one! On the highway another. Food trucks galore stocked with tacos and nachos. That is one food choice we do not need another one of. It's cheap food and you can make a lot with. Locals came to 7 Devil's Brewery for the great beer and food made with local ingredients. Comfort food at its finest. The management says oh go to the Waterfront. That's not a brewery vibe. Why the change? Were you really not getting enough business? Why not have a section of a few "OG favorites"? Such a disappointment. I do not see myself dropping my money here any longer. Which is sad. The merchandise section was addicting!

Yelp
Walked in at 12:30ish on a Monday. Was greeted right when we entered and sat inside right away. Server brought us waters right away and got the drinks ordered. The beets are great! We tried the spindrift IPA and the endless summer blonde ale. For food we got the fried oysters- amazing! And the fried albacore tuna with fries. Essentially fish and chips. So good!! The aiolis are my favorite. I've got photos of the food and beer. Our server Haley was great!!

Yelp
While visiting my mother we had a wonderful lunch here. Outdoor seating with some sun and delicious food. The service was friendly, easy parking, and definitely a place I'd come back too.

Yelp
Excellent service and amazing food. Our waitress was on top of her game and was super knowledgeable of the beer selection! We will definitely be back when in tow

Yelp
Awesome brewery with extraordinary bay view. Loved the contemporary open space layout, lots of tables by windows to take in the view Great flagship IPA with hop style suiting my tasting buds. The grass fed burger and fries, particularly liked the fries served in a tin cup - keep 'em hot. Service responsive and friendly with a smile. We'll be back!

Arick A.

Yelp
Had to divert from a "higher rated" cafe that was having trouble today... This place was great! Fresh and light flavors, easy to eat GF, knowledgeable and friendly service. Love it and would definitely return. Did you know they have house made ice cream??
google avatar

Bridget A.

Yelp
The ambiance and service was awesome, but the food was not good at all. Loved the stain glass windows and the music though. I had three chicken wrap and my son had the Mac & cheese. Very disappointing.

Yelp
So when I visit Coos Bay these 2 spots are a welcome break. Good food, great drinks.

Yelp
Food was amazing, service friendly and being right by the water was a great ambiance.

Steven S.

Yelp
It was very disappointing to look at all the incredible food pictures on Yelp..... only to get there and find that they change the entire menu to resemble a cross between Taco Bell and Burger King ! The food was awful! Come to find-out they changed the menu a few months ago. After eating there I read the reviews and I guess this the general consensus, once incredible but now a "once was". The service was great and they even brought the dogs water! I hope the owner(s) will take this review to heart and learn a valuable lesson to mess with success!

Richard h.

Yelp
Fish Tacos. Very small amount of fish in each. While ok they were disappointing Chicken wrap, greasy, greasy, greasy. Nice venue and staff but marginal food

Jamie L.

Yelp
We stopped in for dinner and had tasty cocktails. The blackberry lemonade is awesome! We love the relaxed vibe and friendly service. But the food? They used to have a great menu. No one else in town was serving poutine or tuna fish and chips, which were great! So why change to a poorly made Mexican-style menu? There are many Mexican restaurants in town already who are doing it well. We've tried several of the new menu items but have found it to be bland and boring. Red beans, brown rice or fries as side choices is boring and cheap. The beans are bland, the fish in the tacos is bland, the cheese sauce on the nacho fries...bland. The elote dip...missed opportunity to be good. The hand-cut fries were excellent, fried chicken was good and Mac n cheese was decent. Mexican food is not your jam. Stick to what you do well and bring the old items back!

Yelp
Quick seating and good service. We came in to taste the beer and grab a quick appetizer. Ordered a flight and the elote dip - ended up ordering nachos for the table after seeing them served next to us. Everything was tasty. We only wished for two things, an option for seasonal beers to be canned, as our craft brewery does it on site and better selection of merchandise (shirts, hats, etc,). We took a growler and a bomber home! Easy to get to and plenty of parking - well worth the stop.
google avatar

Maria H.

Yelp
Excellent experience. Great service, delicious food and it was the perfect setup with our dog. I had the broiled fish tacos and the Guava Bae cocktail. Our table split the elote dip. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Yelp
Different menu than the Wharf location, limited. No burgers, no fish n chips, no BLT. Beef tacos good. Chicken wrap not so good, warm and soupy! Service and atmosphere great. I will not return. Much prefer the wharf location.

Alexander R.

Yelp
Beautiful local brewery in the heart of Coos Bay OR. The space was lovely and their locally made beers were excellent. I had their signature IPA and a Pilsner, both excellent. The bar service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
I enjoyed at dinner with my team here after a work event, and I will definitely want to come back. Every single menu item is very carefully composed, and I enjoyed the fried oysters for an appetizer, and the fall themed bowl with chicken as an added protein. I ordered the Dark and Stormy, which definitely had a strong ginger presence, as described, but was not strong in terms of alcohol. The menu featured a cucumber margarita, which listed a cucumber simple syrup as a key ingredient, and I asked for a drink that would feature that but with a different alcohol base, and the server suggested gin. When he brought it out, he described it as a cucumber equivalent of a lemon drop and I absolutely loved it. A couple of friends who tried it were also really impressed with it. The oysters were perfect; fresh out of the fryer, I decided to live dangerously as I picked one up with my hand right away. I didn't try the aioli because of Tabasco being a key ingredient in it but my friend added it to their own fall bliss bowl and said it was just what it needed. I am glad I added chicken to the fall bliss bowl, the server said another choice of protein was bacon, which was not initially on the menu. I would have paid extra for a savory or creamy sauce to flavor the bowl some more as the chicken comes out grilled but plain and the primary grain base of the bowl is also not spiced or seasoned at all. Mushrooms are also known for absorption of flavor as opposed to one of their own, especially the crimini kind, which is the type in this dish. Overall, I can't wait to eat here again! I might request another one of these cucumber drop type of concoctions as it was delightful and very refreshing even when served without ice.

Jane U.

Yelp
I don't know about you, but "buttermilk fried chicken" conjures a specific sight and smell of gorgeous golden-brown steaming hot tender flavorful crunchy juicy chicken, something to anticipate from just the description. We even called to make sure it was fresh, not Sysco frozen. To say we were disappointed is an understatement: two plates of boring brown food - hard to distinguish the chicken nuggets (yes, nuggets) from the limp greasy fries. How sad is it that "professionals" can seem to make even the most rudimentary dish look and taste spectacular. It really isn't that hard . . . We'll give them the chicken was hot and moist but flavorless, served with bottled ranch (really???) The seasonal brown ale was delicious and service was okay for as busy as the place was. Disappointing at best.

Yelp
Food was delish. Seating was confusing since you had to approach the bartenders to be seated. No one was manning the podium at my arrival. Food came fast and hot, but I did not get silverware so I had to find someone to ask. The Lavender Lemonade was very sour and missing the sweet, but overall a good dinner and evening on the coast!
