I don't visit 7 Leaves as much as I'd like to, but this is one of my favorite places to get iced coffee besides Starbucks (any 7 Leaves location, not just this one here in Costa Mesa). Maybe that's why they're nicknamed the Asian Starbucks? (according to Wikipedia, lol)
This is located in the strip mall at the corner of Bristol Street and Paularino Avenue. Be careful not to pull into the Oilstop, which is at the actual corner, drive pass it then pull into the parking lot entrance.
The parking lot here is a decent size, but can get packed, especially in the evening - there's a lot of places to eat such as Hakata Ikkousha, Anjin, and Capital Noodle Bar. There's also Uncle Tetsu and Dough & Arrow for dessert (or this 7 Leaves, they've got macarons)!
I ordered the House Coffee (regular size, $4.95) and the Brazilian Lemonade (regular size, $4.95). Their House Coffee is so good! It's like a milder and creamier Vietnamese Coffee. Vietnamese Coffee is too strong and too sweet for me, so the House Coffee is perfect. I also love that their regular size is 20oz, caffeinated goodness that lasts a little longer (their large is 26oz). The Brazilian Lemonade was really refreshing, not my favorite, but somehow addicting. It's more of a limeade than lemonade (it does say it's made with lime) so kind of confusing. It reminded me of a creamier virgin margarita? I don't know how else to explain it. Service is usually nice at the locations I've visited, as was here.
When I do visit a 7 Leaves, I think I'm going to try something different, but then I always end up with their House Coffee. I just wish there was a drive-thru location nearby so I don't have to get out of my car, lol.
