The restaurant carries a simple but warm atmosphere that comes alive at night. Dim lighting and lovely seating. I ordered the chicken pollo which was delicious. If you are crazy about pesto, this dish was extremely generous with it and the chicken was juicy and seasoned! For dessert, the Dulce De Leches cheesecake was to die for. (Tip: if you like hot sauce they carry a variety if you ask).

Always love dining here, there’s lots of great options on the menu and a great place for small to large groups spread across different floors. The best thing, however, is the fact that it’s open 24 x 7, which makes for the perfect spot to visit after a late night out! In fact, the atmosphere is probably the best late at night. On this occasion, I tried their house omelettes per their brunch menu (I substituted the salad for fries, which reminded me of chips from back home in England - delish!). One of my favourite spots in the city - worth a try!

I’ve been here a few times now, and the brunch menu never disappoints. It’s impressively large and caters to both savory and sweet cravings. This time, I tried the vegetarian burger, and it was moist, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The house salad on the side was fresh and vibrant—an excellent pairing with the burger. We always save room for dessert, and the Belgian dark chocolate cake was the perfect way to end the meal—rich, decadent, and deeply satisfying. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxed and delicious brunch experience!

The top floor has such a good vibe. Great for a group meeting or a casual date. I like the interior I think it’s got personality. The mini bar upstairs is a nice touch. Food’s good, no complaints.

Google
My rating: 6.5/10. I had heard lots about this place and had even recommended it to others before going because of how it had been recommended to me, but I now regret that. The highlights are the staff - super friendly and helpful - and the fact that it is open 24/7 is kinda neat. Nothing was particularly terrible, but to me this was the epitome of an average restaurant. The menu was very long and varied, which can be nice but I find it often a sign of being ok at everything and good at nothing. The dishes were pretty average for a North American restaurant. I finished my salmon eggs benny but wasn’t impressed by any of it. The potatoes were nothing special either, which sometimes helps a breakfast dish standout. Prices were average for brunch these days but that isn’t a bonus to me because the food doesn’t quite make it worth it. The atmosphere is a little dull and dim, seems like some effort has been put in to make it nice but the use of darker tones and lack of natural light in midday isn’t my cup of tea. Maybe the dinner dishes are better, but my group and I weren’t super keen on anything. I might go back if I was invited, but I won’t be booking a table here again soon.

Google
Cute quaint cafe with good homey food! I got the Mac n cheese and my friend got the steak and fries. According to then the steak was delicious and tender. My mac n cheese was great, classic and large portion-wise. Quiet atmosphere perfect for chatting and staff were pleasant.

Google
A hidden place on Downtown Yonge Street. Reasonable price for reasonably good food. The Rosie ravioli and lasagna are nice. We have also tried Montreal beef sandwiches. Wooden structures with posters of film festivals added vibes for the meals. Service at the third floor is nice, though staff between floors do not communicate with each other, so you need to check whether there is a table available by climbing the staircase.

Google
Food was absolutely delicious, staff was friendly & checked in on us, low lit & very relaxed vibes. A little sign letting us know to wait to be seated is the only thing I can say that would improve the place. Definitely going back.

Yelp
Great service as there wasn't anybody else there in the restaurant when we went. The hours say that it is opened all day so it's great if you want a late night bite. The portions are pretty big but I would say the prices are high so it equals out. Pretty flavourful but the food did take quite a bit to come out. Good ambience with low lighting and jazz music.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered their Montreal-style smoked beef sandwich and my partner ordered a breakfast plate. The food was good, it's what you expect at a diner. Dark ambiance is a good way to describe the feeling inside. Pricing was actually not bad for two meals and dessert, but there was about an hour of waiting for service, despite only a few tables in use. Waited for 20 minutes for a drink at first and then around 40 minutes for the bill because the waiter clocked out in the middle of it. We just waited way too long, especially since they forgot my drink. I'd love to give this place another chance, and I will, since mistakes happen.

Yelp
I hate reviews like this. Sorry but it was unpleasant and we just wanted a nice brunch plate. I suggested it only to my companion because I was feeling nostalgic for long ago high school exploits here. Reservation was made but when we arrived there was no reservation and we had to trudge up and look, and trudge up and look, until there was a table open. (Which they should have known and sent us directly to?) Brunch order made - menu is odd in that there is tiny tiny type saying only the brunch menu is available but other breakfast items are printed on the "Brunch Menu" pages... Of course we wanted unavailable items. We got coffee - ugh. espresso dishwater. Machine needs a cleaning. "Waffles" arrive. I guess they were fluffy at one point? hard to chew or even cut covered in what was referred to a 'creme anglais' call it for what it looked like, watery cream. jizz? ugh. Whipped cream is easy to make and if you were beating any life out of the waffle batter why not whip some yummy whipped cream? We gave up after 10 minutes. Literally 10 minutes after the plates were set in front of us we just bailed. Waitron said he was SO sorry but had nothing to offer. He just stood out of the way while I paid and said nothing. I paid $55 for 2 garbage brunch plates because I didn't want to dine and dash which was my only other option. as the staff offered nothing at all as replacement, compensation or even one thing to make us feel any better. I go out to eat in order to not cook for myself. I'm happy to give a waffle tutorial in getting fluffy stay crisp waffles but for gods sake make me feel better about your bad food before I leave.

Yelp
Okay food but they don't have change for cash, no signs mentioned on the front door or anywhere in the restaurant. My order ended up being $21 but I had to pay $30 because again, there was no mention or notice of not being able to provide change.

Yelp
We had a group of 8 yesterday to have brunch. We didn't make any representations, but we got in to patio right away. And the restaurant was filled up fast. We were grad that we went a bit early. We order one of each and it was a little bit ok to take time to make for 8 orders. When the dishes came, we were shocked. In our group, 4 kids and 4 adults. We didn't expect the portion of each was so big. A kid couldn't finish an adult size of dish. The waitress who took the order should have alerted the guests, when she saw that kids were also ordering. The restaurant was like all day breakfast. I got Morning Bagel and my Husband got 7 West Omtlette, another couple got All Time Breakfast, and Morning Bagel. The kids got 2 Pancake & Sausages, Breakfast Waffles, Steak and Egg. Those were big portions that an adult barely could finish one plate. We packed out the rest. The food was ok, the service was not really, not sure if it was too busy or what, we have to ask for water multiple times, asked for doggy bags for multiple times before they brought us. The only thing I would highlight is that this is a 24/7 restaurant with patio. Please note that the tip was automatically generated 20% in the total of the bill, I think that's because we came with a large group, but no tip option with this type of service was...

Yelp
Nice, dark ambiance to this place. Food is not not bad or great. Similar to what one will get at a diner.

Yelp
Very lovely spot, with lovely staff. Food is simple but delicious. The portions are very large so either arrive hungry or be prepared to take leftovers home:) The ambiance is very good here, and it feels homey! Definitely recommend:)

Yelp
Mac and cheese was excellent. Ravioli was very good. Both were of generously sized portions. Red velvet cake for dessert was okay, but not great. Great, cozy atmosphere. Service was excellent until the very end, when it took longer than it should have to get the check. All told, I'd readily go back but would skip the dessert.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere! 24 hour food service. Reasonable prices and decent food! Very rustic and comfortable
google avatar

Yelp
The decor is cute the atmosphere is a bit chaotic and the service is extremely slow you have to try and get the attention of the staff to order, get your bill, anything really. The iced coffee was delicious I ordered two lol. It is on the strong side so I was up all night The pizza was extra cheesy very rich. The tomato sauce was delicious dishes they added more to the base.

Yelp
Oh man a 24hr restaurant in Toronto with such a cool vibe, shut up and take my money! Went here after reaching late in Toronto and all the other restaurants were closed or almost closing. A colleague suggested this place and it was perfect! The ambiance upstairs, the food, the service, all just came together for a tired family to grab a bite to eat on a late evening. Definitely a must try in Toronto for late nights or in the day for that matter.

Yelp
Love this place! The fact that they're open 24/7 was alr superb, but their food and serving size are totally amazing! The ambiance is also quite intimate so it's perfect for a date or catching up with a friend. You won't be disappointed with their service as well as they will accomodate you right away. Philly Steak Sandwich w/ Fries (10/10) Smoked Salmon Sandwich with Caesar Salad (10/10)

Yelp
Decent place around downtown to get breakfast staples. Feeling mighty hungry? Their breakfast platters are what you may need to soothe the beast. Got mine with toast, home fries, ham, eggs and sausage. The home fries weren't crispy enough to my liking and were underseasoned. The rest of the platter was what you could expect to get at a neighborhood diner. Grilled cheese was on point with the bread retaining its expected crisp exterior. Wish the cheese was a little more gooey, but I'm not going to ding them any points on that, with this order being a delivery.

Yelp
I give this place 5 star for 5 important reasons: 1. This restaurant serves decent food 24/7, and this is super important because you can always rely on this. 2. The diversity of food at this restaurant is awesome, you can have a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 3. The location is very good, it's in a nice area of downtown and there is a public parking in front of it 4. The servers are really nice. 5. The inside gives a very authentic vibe, something missing here. And the food is very good!

Yelp
Open 24hrs? Sign me up Finally visited to catch up with friends Here we got their 10" goat olive cheese pizza ($21) and their Caprese tomato salad with bread ($20) Great portions for sharing and really liked the cozy ambiance of the restaurant Last but not least the goat cheese pizza was so cheezy as seen hahaha and the pizza dough was soft airy and crispy on the outside. Really yummy

Yelp
Food was excellent. Service was very efficient and friendly. However, the policy of not providing change to cash customers forced me to leave a 40% tip. I can't find anything on the menu or website that displays this policy. Will never return nor recommend to anyone. The practice of telling customers that change will not provided should take place at the beginning of the evening, not the end. And yes, in this day and age, some people still use cash!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is not bad, but the service is terrible. They stand around chatting, and offer very little in the way of actual service.

Yelp
Vibes immaculate, aesthetic ideal, food & drink great! This review encompasses the 5th visit I've had here and my thoughts about this place remain the same-- come here! The cafe is a converted three story townhouse that is decorated and dimly lit with candles to provide an intimate setting for a meal with friends or a date with your partner. Service has always been terrific every time I have been here. The food comes quick, staff are courteous, and reactive to your requests. Now the food, we had an amazing caprese salad with nice buttered baguette slices. It was an amazing starter that is actually quite large. We also shared a pizza that was honestly perfect, amazing crust that was crisp at the bottom and topped with plenty of cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, and truffles. Not once have I ever felt disappointed with the food here. Do come here. Seriously. I mean it!

Yelp
Made reservations for lunch for three on a Friday and was seated immediately. The server also kind enough and brought over water and filled it for us. We ordered a pint of Mill Street and an Old Fashioned, both very delicious. We ordered the grilled cheese, chicken club sandwich, and hot prosciutto panino all with a side of fries. Our meals came out at once and it was very fresh! The fries were super hot and crispy but slightly too much salt. The portions were very generous as well. Would definitely return to try their other items.

Yelp
Maybe it was a bad day for staff or they're just not good for breakfast/brunch but this place was an atrocity. Food was flavorless. My partner ordered pancakes and didn't get syrup with it. We asked for some syrup, the kid looked at us funny and told us one moment and never came back. I noticed other tables were getting refills on coffee, getting condiments like jam, syrup, etc and we just got ignored. Don't recommend for breakfast.

Yelp
Our second kitchen with convenient twenty-four seven, three-sixty-five accessibility! Great selection of all day breakfast items within a cozy home-like ambiance

Yelp
Fairly dependable for a no-nonsense salad and sandwich combo for lunch. I usually get the club. It's decent and the chicken is real (not deli meat). Never had anything else there so can't say much else.

Yelp
Great staff and extraordinary food. Very comfortable environment with a classic neighbourhood feeling.

Yelp
40$ Uber meal, forgot to add tomatoes and lettuce to my grilled cheese, forgot ketchup, asked for banana chocolate cake and got red velvet ? These guys need more lights. Obviously the workplace is not lit well enough for them to pack the meal right. Or prepare it with any sort of care They really fell off these past few years lol 2 stars cause my mouth was dry as f**k half way through the meal

Yelp
Oh boy...where to even begin? Long story short: the service is WHACK and food is way below mediocre. At least the servers were apologetic and the 3-story restaurant has a quaint charm. //THE ATMOSPHERE & SERVICE// PROS: -The restaurant has a charm to it and I liked the early 2000's pop and r&b music -The manager apologized profusely CONS: -Manager looked like he was extremely stressed and running around -Gave no mini plates to share the appetizers -ABSOLUTELY forgot 3 of our orders. Tried to make up for it by covering the bill for one of the forgotten pizzas, gave 2 slices of cake on the house, and said we didn't have to tip them at all -Billing took forever Since we had reservations made for a large party in advance, it's unacceptable that they didn't recognize they needed extra staffing. Even when we left, I saw plates of food on the bar getting cold from waiting on being served out. //THE FOOD// Chef's salad (2/5)- For $17.95 I expected something way better...at least the portions were large though. But c'mon, I've gotten better at grocery stores! The toppings consisted of a sad boiled egg, processed ham slices, green peppers, & tomatoes. Nachos (1/5)- stale chips, not served warm so the cheese was hardened, guacamole looked like it was squeezed out the tube, and the jalapeños and salsa weren't fresh. People in my table got pizza and pastas. They seemed satisfied with their meal, but I personally thought they looked very subpar and it was on the smaller personal pizza size. Caramel cheesecake (4/5)- very rich and not as sweet as I thought. The thin caramel ganache on top and the touch of saltiness and crumble from the crust was nice. Chocolate cake (2/5) - way too sweet and heavy. The ganache and cream was really thick. The whip cream on the side was sad. Red velvet (2.5/5) - The icing didn't taste like cream cheese, but at least the cake was fluffy and not overly sweet!

Yelp
This is usually the place I go for late night dinners or after party meals since they are open 24/7. The food is good and they have a good variety. Usually, I eat pasta or pizza, good combinations and the portions are big! Here is where they lose 2 stars for me: - Service is really bad! Need to be calling the server so many times until you get them to your table, sometimes they didn't even know how to explain what goes in the dish to me. - Overpriced! Even that they are 24/7 and also their portions are big it is still overpriced. This is something that always makes me think twice before going there. I would recommend as a late night option!

Yelp
I was pretty disappointed with the pizza. I wish the one I got looked like the one in the photo on the Skip the Dishes page. It didn't. The pizza sauce was MEH, and what you get for the price is so not worth it. I got way fewer toppings than I was expecting. The photo was a lie. I think the average pizza place gives you 3 times the pizza and toppings for what I paid for their "7 West Pizza" The crust was the only fairly nice thing about my meal. And - sadly - the pizza was cold. Cold.

Yelp
CONSUMER ALERT! Avoid this establishment! Upon finishing our meal we were presented the bill which I promptly paid via debit, adding a 15% tip. Noticing the bill was high (after the fact) I double checked, and sure enough, it stated that they automatically added a 15% tip prior to me adding another. No problem, I'll just ask my server to fix what I assumed was an honest oversight. 'No' I was told, the 15% tip was clearly marked on the bill and there was nothing she could do about it. OK, first of all, if you engage in non-standard practices such as automatically adding 15% to a bill, the least you could do is verbally alert your customer of such, especially when you watch them add the amount a second time. Nope. Secondly, when made aware of such an oversight, you'd think to rectify the situation with as little fuss as possible. Nope. She (and her manager) both doubled down and insisted there was nothing they could about it once the transaction went through (patently false, it's done all the time). They then went so far as to blame me for not paying enough attention to what was on the bill! I assured them that the charges could be reversed and that if they weren't, my bank would reverse the entire amount. Surprise! They suddenly found a way to do so, but not before another group of patrons (who overheard the conversation) declare that this was the 3rd time they alone had witnessed the same disagreement with others! So, clearly not an oversight but a deliberate, predatory and dishonest attempt to bilk customers. Appalling! And they still had the gall to charge me the original tip - which, if I recall correctly, is intended to be a reward for good service and customer satisfaction. They do not deserve anyone's business.

Yelp
Rating 3.5 My son brought me here after watching a show at the CAA theatre. It is a cute place with 3 levels. Each level is small and seating is very close together. The individual gender neutral washrooms are also tiny. It was quite dark inside and difficult to read the menu without my flashlight on the phone (at 4:30pm the dimness was a bit off). The server was nice but made some errors on our order. I appreciate that she double checked about dairy in the soup for me, but my burger came on a bun when I requested on lettuce (as per the server's suggestion). Then we got our bill and were charged for iced tea that never came to us. They quickly corrected both issues with no problem. I would return for another try as they do have veg chili on the menu too. My son had a pizza and enjoyed it.

Yelp
This was a very nice surprise place. Very nice waiter and decent food. Central in Toronto and open 24 h.
google avatar

Yelp
Disappointing service and food. I shared the fries and Mac n cheese with a friend and it wasn't good. The Mac in cheese came in about 5 minutes which explained the poor taste and quality. Fries were below average and sure as hell not worth 10 dollars. Service wasn't great. Waiters seemed more interested in just chatting and I had to walk up for the bill and I have to remind them about my fries. If you're just going for a drink I can see how it would be nice. The 24/7 doesn't really appeal to me, I find with this gimmick quality goes out the window.

Yelp
I have many memories of this place and all of them were good. Until today. The menu is fine, the service wasn't great (though it may have been her first day on the job), they were out of a lot of stuff, and there was a hair in the food. But the real "go fuck yourself" from 7 West was the auto gratuity. It was a table of three for cocktails and an appetizer but somehow this once great establishment felt it was appropriate to put an auto-grat on our bill. Fuck them. No amount of happy memories are going to get me to come back here.

Yelp
Very reliable place with a good variety of food that is all quite good! Consistency is what makes this place so great along with very kind staff! Great ambiance in the restaurant as well. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The only decent place open in Toronto. Food was good. Place was warm. Drinks were strong

Yelp
This was so good! While slightly expensive overall, prices are pretty standard for pasta ($15-18). I got penne carbonara, which was well cooked and chewy instead of soggy which I appreciate. Flavours were good and light without being bland. The restaurant/cafe has 3 different floors which is pretty nice, and they are open 24/7! Service wasn't fantastic since I did have to wave a couple times to get the waitresses attention despite being one of the only people on that floor. However it wasn't bad service either. I am pretty sure I also came here after Prom since it was the only place open at midnight, so I got major throwback vibes.
google avatar

Megan R.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a better average. The ambience, the service, the food, the music--all fabulous! My only complaint is that the entire restaurant gets very cold when the door opens as it is a small place. Ambience is dark and lit by candles. Quaint with close proximity of tables. There is an upstairs also, not sure if they seat. The service was quick and friendly. No wait for a table on a Saturday night. We even got a cake to celebrate our birthdays, which is just 2 days apart. The food was amazing, we both opted for pasta and finished it all. Homemade pasta sauce for the spaghetti. Music! My favorite part. I wasn't sure why people weren't singing throughout their meal. Throwbacks of 2000s hip hop and some today hits. Also best part-they are open 24 hours and breakfast is served at all times!
google avatar

Charles W.

Yelp
Not actually a 24 hour restaurant. When I went for an early breakfast on a Saturday it was closed from 6-7 for cleaning. Same was true of every other 24 hour diner I visited in this part of Toronto.

Yelp
Decided to come here because I was hungry at 1am. Food was alright but a bit pricey, atmosphere and decor were nice, but the cockroach just didn't do it for me.

Yelp
Great spot but they always mess up the orders . Downtown core good selections. Open 24 7

Yelp
It's a small little cafe near Bay street that has three floors. A group of us had went there for brunch and the experience was interesting. It was fairly busy for lunch brunch service around 12. They serve certain breakfast items all day - I got their breakfast waffle that came with fruit and whipped cream and my boyfriend got their steak and egg breakfast. Everything looked really good when it got to the table, but everything arrived at different times. Meaning, in a group of ten, by the time some people got their food, other people finished. My waffles were really soft and they give you a side of maple syrup which you can pour over yourself so it's nice that you can control that. My boyfriends steak was also really nicely cooked, though they never asked him how he liked it. I'd like to come back to try their main courses as today I've only tried their breakfast menu. I'd avoid alcohol here. A Cesar was $11 for a small glass, so unless you'd really like a drink, I'd say to stick with their $4 coffee or $6 lattes. Service could definitely be better, since food didn't come out at the same time. But also you know when you just know the server hates you? This was that. We weren't a loud or rowdy group but I could tell the waitress wasn't enthusiastic about our table. So I'd avoid this cafe for large groups as their seating doesn't really suit it anyways, and their servers don't seem so happy about large groups.

Yelp
Cozy spot near Yonge and bloor! Open all the time with great brunch and all day breakfast options. Portion sizes were HUGE and I liked their coffee. Got pancakes which were the size of a serving plate and it came with some fruit. I think it would have been better with more sides. Dishes are mostly traditional. Looks like a good place for late night eats and regular brunch.

Snowtorious S.

Yelp
incredible service , delicious food & great music open 24 hours this is definitely a spot I'll come back to.

Suzanne D.

Yelp
they have scented candle burning, in my opinion this is inappropriate for a restaurant. We were a group of 9, everything was just ok.

Andrew L.

Yelp
I give this restaurant thee stars. I have only eaten at 7 West Cafe once - I ordered it through Doordash. I really loved the taste of the Pasta What? - it was very flavourful, although it was a bit too salty for my taste. I did not like the Rosie Ravioli - it was too creamy and I found the flavour to be quite bland. We got a nice bottle of Les Jamelles Merlot for $20 which was an amazing deal. Three stars

Yelp
They charge u upfront with tips included after 2am. Well, this means they can give u a bad service, and they literally did this to our table and the table next to us! First of all, the restaurant is little expensive and position it as a high end place, which is fine, we r willing to pay for the decoration. But can u image a fancy place with a horrible sever dress code: Jean and sweater? Second, the attitude of the server, where their attention? Keep bringing the wrong order to my table and the other table. The other table has 5 ppl, and she didn't even bother take a note, given she already messed up our 2-person order? I had to wait a long time again to wait for the food. Third, no wonder the server didn't pay too much attention, she had been talking to another waitress all the time. I literally heard the kitchen ppl calling her name 3 times, saying the order is ready, but she kept chatting and finally a guy from the kitchen came out and call her in. Not a fancy service in this fancy restaurant. Last but not least, the server really, really doesn't know the menu, keep giving me wrong information about the menu. And for the other table, basically every time they asked a question, she kept running to kitchen to ask for answers. Oh G. At least she was trying not to give the wrong information after my order. But seriously in a place like this? If this is a normal place, I won't expect this. But this is a place where u bring someone to a date. This service is not worth the price u paid. Objectly speaking, the food quality is just so so compared with other fancy restaurant. Nothing special. Totally ruined my mood. Poor jean and sweater dress code and high price that I can tolerate, but the attitude part is annoyiny. When I told her the order is wrong, she didn't even believe me and she questioned me so I had to bring her memory back. Seriously? Yeah, keep charging upfront after 2am so ur server doesn't even care to work properly. And keep the low end dress code and service bar in ur privacy fancy restaurant.

Yelp
Decent food for a overpriced 24 hour joint, with service very much needs work. We came to 7 west at 2am which was still peak time for the restaurant on a Sunday. We had 2 gentlemen servers who were more focused on speaking to eachother then waiting tables, but we're very polite. THE FOOD: 3/5 Daily soup was cream of mushroom that was strangely enough a bit sour, served with flat bread for some reason? Nachos were amazing, super large platter topped with delicious pulled pork, tomatoes, cheeze, jalapenos was amazing, highly recommend it. The Pasta was okay, first he got my order wrong and served me the wrong pasta and then upon serving the right one the noodles were SO unbelievably short and overcooked it looked like chef boyardee canned noodles. The sauce was also too salty. It was served with bread. THE SERVICE: 2/5 The waiters were nice, but they were so focused on chatting it up behind us (a conversation louder than my table's), we as customers had to come up to hand them our bill. The food came unnervingly slow, almost 20 minutes, and when the food did come it was the wrong order which meant additional time waiting for the right one. At the end even getting the bill took a lot of effort to get their attention. 7 west is great because it runs 24/7, I would still love to come for a drink and nachos one day.... If everything else was closed.

Yelp
I loved this cafe 3 years ago when I discovered it, and I still love it now. I came here around 11pm the other night for a few drinks and appetizers. I love the atmosphere of this cafe at night. Dimmed lights, candles, such a cosy and relaxing place. There are 3 floors, and the third floor even has a patio. My boyfriend and I ordered the Bruschetta ($11.95). It came with 4 decent sized bread slices with diced tomatoes. It was pretty good, but usually bruschetta has other ingredients like some sort of cheese or balsamic drizzle other than just tomatoes, but it was still yummy. The service here was great. It wasn't too busy, so we went all the way up to the third floor and was told we could sit wherever we wanted. The food and drinks came quickly after we ordered. I definitely recommend this place considering it is open 24/7, and I'll for sure be returning to try more items on the menu!

Yelp
It pains me to have to update my review of 7 West because I really did love this place, but my recent experiences have been so bad I can no longer justify my previous 5 star rating. The food quality has remained about the same, hence the 2 stars given, but the service has been absolutely terrible. They have implemented an automatic 18% gratuity to every order, a slap in the face to any customer as the staff are just taking this as an opportunity to not offer good service. During one of my visits, I waited 15 mins at the door before anyone greeted or even acknowledged me. It was a busy night, and about 70% of the tables were filled, but 3 staff members walked right by me several times without so much as a glance or a "I'll be right with you". I had to loudly address a server walking by to ask her if we could have a table for 2, to which she rolled her eyes and then promptly walked away. She did come back eventually, but was clearly very irate and couldn't be bothered with us. Another time I visited at around 3pm, and the place was empty except for one other table. We were seated very quickly but as soon as we got the food, all service stopped. 5 different times I had to stare and work to flag someone down to ask for water, bread, more water, a takeout container, and for another slice of cake to be brought because the one we received was frozen (fork couldn't poke through it). Since there was only one other table, it really wasn't busy, all the staff were just standing and talking behind the bar while occasionally filling takeout orders. All the sit down customers were forgotten about. Our server with the curly hair was really friendly, but so hard to flag down. He didn't charge us the automatic gratuity this time which I appreciated. The blonde girl behind the bar (same one who was extremely rude when I asked for a table) should really consider a career change given how much she appears to hate working there. A couple times food and bread had come out and instead of bringing it out she just stood behind the bar eating bits of bread, cake, whatever, while chatting with someone else. She did not wear her mask (pulled down to her chin), and to my horror after sticking her fingers in her mouth (eating), she proceeded to touch the outside of her mask, and without washing her hands brought my food over. Honestly so disappointed because I have so many good memories of this place, and now they have all been replaced by the bad experiences. The 18% automatic gratuity is extremely insulting given the mediocre service offered by the staff. I don't look forward to returning and will stick with UberEats. Tl;dr Good food with large portions, but service went down the drain. There is an 18% gratuity that is automatically applied to every order (doesn't matter if you're one person or a party of 10), and staff are taking advantage of this to not put in any effort. If you do eat here, expect not to get any service outside of ordering and getting your bill.

Yelp
I can't express how much I love this place. Tucked away and almost unnoticeable, you can literally walk passed it. It is three floors, a series of steps only wide enough for one way traffic. Washrooms are no bigger either; unisex, both located on the second floor near the stairs and ATM machine. The dim lighting and tea light candle lit tables offer an intimate dinning. Over head you'll hear a variety of top 40's. Not too loud, not to soft enough for you to enjoy, sing a verse or two and drop back into your group convo. Oh did I mention they are open 7 days a week/365 days a year...24 hrs!!! :0 I introduced my brother and his gf to this venue. We came for a mini celebration. Wohoo! Had some appetizers; poutine (of course) and the bruschetta with cheese added. Enough for 3 to share. Drinks; Manhattan (me, this lady loves her martinis), old fashion, and a French martini (pineapple juice made it a little too fruity for my liking, but still yummy!) Mains; house BLT w/ ceaser salad (I don't recommend the ceaser...I've had wayyyyyy better but does not affect the 5), Sicilian pizza and a veg pizza. All enjoyed with great pleasure. The service was decent, and the waitress was patient with my brother and his gf as they intensely scanned the menu (their 1st time, to be expected) Overall it was a well enjoyed outing. Cheers yelpers and safe long weekend!
