Great great great experience. Large menu for type of establishment, large selection of beers and drinks, paired with impressively hard to beat prices. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, and am eager for my next visit. We got the hot honey hoagie, chicken and broccoli stir fry bowl, dill cheese curds, and some sides. Great!

Great burgers and sides with plenty of beer options. Wait staff are friendly and offer fast food service. Portions are very generous and I recommend the seasoning menu for for an addition on your sides.

I had a lunch club going back in 2018-20 and was told I should rate 7 West Tap House. Well, that day has finally come 6 years later. This is a downtown building which is really narrow and deep. We were seated right away, and served even faster. Our Chicken Tacos, Double California Burger. and Jalapeño Beer Cheese Wantons were delicious. If you’re ever in the area, give this restaurant a try, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy…

Always a good time at 7West! Fast food and service! Food is always good as well! Even when it’s busy! Good beer selection. We got the Jalapeño Popper Burger with dill fries and then the #7westOMG Burger with sweet potato fries!

A burger for under $10 that you would actually want to eat...now that's a tall order. In my opinion 7 West Tap House has got it!! Granted fries are extra, but it's a very solid 🍔! No complaints. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was crazy fast!!

Excellent in every way!! The service is superb. The food is fantastic. And the atmosphere is awesome. Saturday night stranded in Saint Cloud. I found a great place to eat. Young families and old people and everyone in between. I ate an awesome “house” hamburger with fries. Staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was just a hum. I could still hear the quiet music in the background and different sport on there TVs - basketball, football, and hockey.

Unless you find a spot on the street, the parking lot across the street is a pay lot, but very cheap. Service from Benji was great. He was attentive to members of our party who had limited time as well as children in the group. The cheese curds were my favorite thing, but everyone enjoyed their food.

We had a great first experience. Friendly service, fast and great food, good prices. I will add that the credit card surcharge was an unwelcome surprise, I'm sure it was in tiny print somewhere but I just think it's tacky in a largely cashless world. Otherwise an excellent time.

Come for great burgers, great beer, and friendly-fast service! We love 7West TapHouse! We counted 49 beer on tap, and they offer beer and burgers of the month at a special price. We ordered cheese curds as an appetizer, and burgers. We were hungry, and opted to add a patty to our burgers. Everything was served hot, fast and delicious! The interior space has the historic-restored vibe, and has TV's to watch the game. Thanks 7West for a great meal! We will be back!!

In town for work, just happened to check this place out. Our server was amazing (Sierra but spelled completely different, sorry!!!). Very personable, very informative and just a great gal. Had the 7 West-(ern) burger, tots with Parmesan cheese and a mullet IPA. Great all the way around. Keep up the great work!

Friendly staff, good food and great atmosphere, what more could you want. Had the fajitas chicken bowl and it was awesome and plenty of food.

I was really excited about this place. I was ready for a good burger, fries, & an IPA. I managed to get one out of three. We arrived at 6:15pm sign on door said seat yourself, we did. We snagged a table grabbed the menu from the QR code. The place was jumping, so we prepared accordingly getting our drink & menu selections ready. At least 20 minutes passed when our server made an appearance, bearing 2 menus. We informed her we were ready to order now. Providing our server our beverages and food choices. The beers arrived fairly quickly. We waited and additional 30 minutes for our meal. My wife's selection arrived accompanied by a beautiful looking burger. Unfortunately it wasn't the burger I ordered. Waitress said my bad and promptly corrected the order. My food arrived after an additional 30 minutes. Unfortunately it wasn't prepared correctly missing half the protein etc. This was clearly an error by the kitchen. Apparently there is no protocol for correcting a mistake. What I mean is I was informed by my server that it would take another 30 minutes to fix, as my order would begin at the end of the queue. I said I would eat as is, I was starving and my wife had finished her meal before my 2nd meal had arrived. I ate the sandwich. The beer out of Fargo was great, the fries, well the menu claimed "fresh hand cut", but fresh frozen from Sysco is closer to the truth. By now my meter was coming to an end I had prepaid 2 hours. My waitress came by I snagged her attention and asked her to ring me up. This was the end and she exploded and threw us out of establishment. I left a single dollar on the table since we were told to get out and I was not allowed to pay. The place had very interesting and large bell with a pull rope elaborately connected to the bartender's station. I never did get an opportunity to ask about it. Lots of monitors for sports too. I gave it a star

Not one had a bad word about the food from the 8 people sitting at my table, including kids. In fact all were quietly eating their lunch in between bites. Eight different people and eight different burgers with a mixture of tots and chips all brought out hot and at the same time, perfect. The inside is spacious and certainly not crowded. Some booths, bar seating, high tables and regular ones to. Oh yeah, they have outdoor seating also. The decor is what you would expect for a taproom, plenty of working tv's, and beer signage all in a cleaned up space. The service was pro! Friendly but to the point, orders in and out. Beers were cold, burgers and sides were hot all at the same time, nice. I wrote down the servers name, I'll slip it in later because she's money! So good. The prices were kinda on the low side, but I'm from California where you know things are pricey for no good reason. Last words...I'm coming back.

We asked a few people near our hotel for recommendations and they pointed us to this place. The food was rock solid and the drink specials were pretty good too. Those jalapeño beer cheese wontons our server recommended were spot on. They also have a very unique selection of beers to choose from. I would definitely come back here again.

Picked this place as we were going through town and when we pulled up I thought it could be questionable. But we were wrong - good food, clean, and the 1 server/bartender was rocking the place as it kept getting progressively busier. Give it a shot! Enjoy

We stopped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy but we had someone stop by to give us menus and get drink orders immediately. My husband was interested in the cranberry beer and she offered him a sample because it was close to the bottom and had a very cranberry flavor (which was good). She took our order and the food came out very quickly. The wontons were very crispy and the sauce was tasty. We got our salads exactly as they were listed. They were very generous with the toppings and the lettuce was crispy. It was a comfortable place with lots of choices of local beer.

I thought I reviewed this place. The waitress was kind. The burgers and fries are amazing. And it's clean. They play nice music.

I am glad to have my FIRST 5 star review on this site. Great food; great portions. Not one thing was not amazing! Their signature sauces were delicious, and my exact review (about three bites in) was that this place place is five guys drunken brother. Juicy burgers seasoned, not just grilled! Fries are hot crispy and accompanied by several neat dips! Awesome amounts of tap beers, and everything from basic to weird. The only two things I might knock them for one, there was only one server during Monday lunch, but she was amazing! Friendly and efficient! The other is the large "plates" are too large for the tables, and make the generous portions look smaller...

one of the best craft beer offerings within the st cloud area, and arguably the best burgers as well. service is always good, the kitchen pumps out the food in record paces as well. top place for sure

After a nice morning of fishing on the Mississippi, I had some delightfully sweet blackened fish tacos, pretzel bites, & craft brew. 7 West did not disappoint! Super clean rest rooms & a wide variety of brews. 2 thumbs way up!

The food was okay, not worth the prices they charge. Waiter accidentally charged me for wrong table so now waiting for a $60 credit to appear on my card. First time trying this place and left unimpressed.

In town for a wedding and staying at the Courtyard Marriott just down the street. This TapHouse is absolutely fantastic. HIGHLY recommend. The servers were very nice, quick, and attentive, oh, and the food was phenomenal!! The burgers were the highlight (they also have wild rice patty's available) I highly recommend the wontons as well as Parmesan Fries. Enjoy! P.S. for those of you that know JL Beers, It gives a very JL Beers vibe, but takes it to the next level and was even better, if that's possible! Great spot in St. Cloud!

The burger patty tasted off and gave me food poisoning. Service was good though. The toppings and bun tasted good.

Good local beers on tap and quality food. Everything you want in a tap house, to be honest. The husband's burger and fries were perfect. I loved the Asian Chicken salad bowl - chicken, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, & green onion with rice noodles. We sat on the patio because we had our dog with us. The patio could use a little work. It's mostly tables on the street, surrounded by temporary construction fencing. It was rather hot without great shade options. Otherwise, we had a terrific experience here.

They have an awesome selection of craft beers from many local area breweries & from afar. We had very good customer service also.

As a broke college student this is a good place to get some grub and not break the bank! Good for the money!

If you want a good burger and a cold beer this is the place for you. We started the meal with the jalapeño wontons and they were tiny but good, nice kick of spice but not overly hot. I got the 7 western burger and beer battered fries and my husband got the classic burger and beer battered fries. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and sooo good! I really want to try the cream cheese and green olive burger next time.

Eating at 7 West Taphouse was a suggestion from my granddaughter and her BF both of whom attend St. Cloud State. We got there right about 5 pm and the place was packed!! It was beer week and the college crowd was in full force. My granddaughter found an empty table at the very back of the long room. It is a seat yourself resturant. The table was right across from the full view kitchen. It was a busy place but surprisingly easy to talk and hear each other. Our server showed pretty quickly and too our drink order. I got what turned out to be a really good Blonde beer, Fulton Beer Lonely Blonde. She took our dinner order when she returned, as we'd all figured out what looked good. The prices werr Three of the 4 of us got burgers and my wife the tacos. I got the Old Cheddar burger, cooked medium. The other two burgers were the One Eyed Jack, Plain Jane. Fries are extra but the beer battered fries were what I ordered. Our order came quickly even with the crowd! I was not disappointed with my food one bit!! The burger was cooked perfectly the fries were amazing. Everyone loved their food, except my wife with the Carnitas Tacos. There was plenty of food for her but it lacked flavor and spice she was looking for in a Taco. All and all a pleasant experience with good food and beer! If you're in town this is well worth checking out. And way more reasonable than other places in town we've eaten at this week, another plus.

50 beers on tap. Huge selling point and worth a trip for that alone. The menu is made up of things that pair well with beer (burgers, tacos, a small salad section, and a large offering of starters that you would expect). Ordered the Black N Bleu Burger. The patty itself was decent, not great, but not bad either. Came to the table under a sea of blue cheese dressing. Almost too much, but with this abundance of hot, tasty fries, it provided a second dipper to go along with the ketchup. $6.29 for the burger and $2.99 for the fries makes for excellent value. The room itself is fantastic. Nice long bar, plenty of tables and booths and some sidewalk seating as well. Right in downtown St. Cloud, easy walking distance to the hotels there. Come for the beer. Stay for the food.

Was in town on business and had a great dinner at 7 West TapHouse. They have a huge assortment of beers on tap! I had a great Amber from a MN brewery. Great burger and beer-bartered fries with Parmesan seasoning. The bartender was super nice as well. She made sure I had all I needed and guided me on things I didn't know about (seasoning on fries?).

I wish I would have discovered 7 West Taphouse sooner! There is a Duluth location, but I'm happy they opened up one in St. Cloud. Located right in downtown St. Cloud, 7 West Taphouse offers a variety of beers...whether you're into porters, ciders, IPAs, etc. you'll find a beer you love here! I went with a few friends during Happy Hour and noticed they have quite the selection of beers on hand. In general, I enjoyed their ciders even though I am not a big beer person. During Happy Hour, you receive $1 off all beers and they also offer $4 wine! You can't go wrong! We all shared their cheese curds ($4.99) for an appetizer and all agreed they were great! The taphouse sauce is a great pairing for them, and the cheese is exactly how it should be: gooey. The only downside to this app is that they barely give you any cheese curds. We thought someone had eaten part of our appetizer since there was not very many to begin with (refer to photo). I wouldn't say this is the most "shareable" appetizer. We wanted to have some bites of our own too and I chose the Carnitas Tacos ($5.99), my friends chose the Chicken Tenders ($4.99) and the Jalapeno Popper Burger. The chicken tenders looked different than any tenders I've seen before, but my friend enjoyed them. She said they had a nice texture to them, and they were tasty! My other friend has purchased the jalapeno popper burger before and loves it. It also has cream cheese on it too! A unique burger that will surely tap into several different flavors. As for my carnitas tacos, they were good but I don't think I would order them again. They didn't stand out against other local tacos I've had, and they loaded it up with the pico de gallo, but nearly no meat. Our waitress was wonderful! She checked back with us several times and was very patient with our beer selection. She promptly served us the different beer samples we requested, and had such a positive attitude despite how busy the place got closer to dinner time! Sidenote: Their bathrooms are the best/most clean bathrooms I've ever been in in downtown St. Cloud. For those of you who fear downtown bathrooms, no need to fear their's! This is a local spot that I will visit again! I was so pleased!

Stopped in for quick lunch while in St. Cloud and the food and service was incredible. From the time I walked in until my food was on the table was about 7 minutes and it was so good!

I just love this place. We visited again in late Oct. Service-Great, Price-Great, Food-Great! In St. Cloud, can't go wrong at this place. The prices are much more reasonable than many of the bar/grills.

I've been here a couple of times and am always impressed with their beer selection on tap. They have at least 20 to choose from so there is definitely something for everyone. I haven't had their food here but my friends ordered burgers and onion rings and enjoyed them. If you are like for a place with good food and beer in St. Cloud, this is the perfect place to go!

Walked right in. Server right away brought us menus and water to start with. Great selection of beer and food. We had tacos and burger for our food. Foods were out pretty quick. It was so amazing. Every bite was flavorful. Our server was great too. Checked on us to make sure our drinks were full. Over all great experience.

11/6 I normally love eating here but my last experience was less than stellar. They didn't melt the cheese fully on my significant other's burger and my olive burger had cold cream cheese. The wonton app was really good though .

This is a nice little spot with a significant better selection. Customer service was on point as well. Our waitress was polite and very helpful. We started with the jalapeno poppers, pretty good but not the start of the show at all. I tried the sugar daddy burger. It was exactly what I was looking for! Although simple it was a delicious decision on a cold Tuesday night Also, they have blue moon on tap which was great. Would recommend!

Nashville Hot Chicken Tacos were amazing! Fresh ingredients. Great beer! Lift Bridge Brewing Batch 4000! Yum.

The food is good... If you aren't that hungry. The portions are small. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer (they ended up forgetting them and brought them after we started eating our main course) and once we got them, we were in shock at how small the portion was. We had a table of three and the onion rings themselves were so small AND there was a small amount of them. I got the Avocado and Bacon Salad which had a totally of four pieces of bacon bits and two thin slices of avocado. With avocado and bacon in the name of the dish, you'd assume there would be more bacon and avocado however there was not. The waitress was nice however I was extremely disappointed in the food and how long the service took (took almost an hour to get our food).

This was my second time here. The most recent on 6/7 for dinner. It is conveniently located near the convention center and Kelly Inn, a block away. Service here is quick, and burgers are tasty and not overly expensive. It is ala carte for any sides and they do have TOTS! The burgers are a very good size and easily shareable too. The last time I was here a year ago I had the green olive burger - but this time around I went for the jalapeño popper burger. It was so yummy - smothered in a cream cheese concoction with jalapeño peppers on top and crispy wonton for the crunch factor, all on a pretzel bun. They also have a nice selection of beers on tap and I enjoyed a lovely wheat beer from Germany.

This is my favorite place to eat in St Cloud. Great beer selection and amazing burgers, the chips are a great side to the burgers.

A pleasant surprise in the middle of downtown St Cloud near the convention center. They have a LOT of beer on tap. And not just well known ones - they also have lesser known local beers, experimental, and the bartender was willing to let me try a few before ordering on a slow Saturday afternoon. I did not have any food but they have a big burger and taco list with creative options. The inside is a big reclaimed space, and the bartenders were about the friendliest anywhere. You can't go wrong with 7 West! (PS they actually have 4 locations around Minnesota)

I've had more than one person say that the food here is good, and inexpensive. I'm happy to report that this is, indeed, the case. It's located in between Subway and Greek Cravings, across from House of Pizza and the Red Carpet, near Pioneer Place and D.B. Searle's and Jimmy John's, so there are a few restaurants to choose from in this block. It's a dark, bar and grill, atmosphere, with the grill located in the back, the bar in the middle and some booths near the bar, and tables near the front. There are a few televisions, but nothing crazy like some places in town. That's nice. It makes it feel like you could actually visit with friends here. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. You can order any of their starter items (fries, cheese curds, etc.) as a side, so I did that. This place is known for their hamburgers, but I didn't want to overpower the taste of the burger with all kinds of toppings, so I ordered the Plain Jane ($3.99) with sauteed onions (free on any burger), along with a side of cheese curds. They have a number of specialty burgers, but I was surprised not to find a "juicy lucy" on their menu. First off, the cheese curds resemble the kind you could get at most places in the area, including A & W's. There wasn't anything special about them, except that they were served with some delicious tap house sauce, which went very well with them. Onto the burger. The burger was fresh and not frozen. I could tell that by the shape, the look, and the fat that came off of it. As burgers go, it was pretty tasty, juicy, and fresh. I liked it very much. It was a considerable burger in size, and I liked the seared, soft bun it was served on, and the generous portion of sauteed onions, as well as the three pickles on the side. I'd have to say it's in my top five burger pick for the St. Cloud area. It looks like they have a massive collection of beers on tap, which is awesome. On Saturdays, you can order a flight of beers for $6. They also have other monthly food, and daily specials, which you can learn about by signing up for their rewards program on your mobile. I was generally quite pleased with my experience and the food here. It would be a nice place to come with friends, especially after or before seeing a show or sporting event, perhaps at SCSU. It was quite quiet when I was here, but I can imagine it getting quite busy on Friday and Saturday evenings. Two thumbs up for The Seven!

First time here and did take out. Bartender was very friendly which was nice. Asked about the fries first because I saw the review about how greasy they are. I love fries but can't stand overly greasy fries so I had to ask. I asked and was assured they weren't super greasy. The picture I uploaded says otherwise :( most were inedible. The burgers purchased were the old cheddar. I changed the cheese to pepper jack and added avo. It was ok. The burgers are hard and not really juicy. The olive and cream cheese was also purchased it was also rated as just ok. The jalapeño poppers description didn't say there was a bacon wrapped cheese curd. It said breaded cheese. Which means the same as a cheese curd in case you're wondering. I also asked if the cheese curds were more like state fair cheese curds or more like heavily breaded cheese. They said state fair cheese curds. The picture I uploaded says otherwise :(. It's not bad but not good just ok. What is great is the bartenders friendly service. Very bubbly band friendly. Tap house sauce is good.

I had the beer cheese wontons...so good! If we lived here I'd come regularly for them. Our burgers were also done well-lots of flavor. The service was fast and friendly. There are only two things bringing this down to a 4. The fries were too greasy. Looks like that's a common comment, hopefully they learn how to address that. Secondly, we're not beer drinkers so we ordered pop. it was served in a can. No glass. No ice. Just a can. we would definitely go back if we come through town again.

I like that they ar following COVID-19 rules for distancing and still keep a good service.

This place has seriously turned itself around for the better in the past year or so. The wait staff are attentive and friendly, and the food always arrives pretty quickly after ordering. Their menu has a lot of variety which is nice. The tacos are great, but watch out for the cajun sour cream and blackened seasoning if you're a wimp bc it's spicy!! I love their chicken tenders with the creamy BBQ sauce...so delicious and way better than boring BBQ sauce out of a squeeze bottle. They always have a great and huge selection of beers on tap and are great about letting you sample before ordering one. Everything is reasonably priced. The jalapeno cream cheese wontons are reason enough for me to keep coming back. YUMMMM

Great beer selection, and the food has gotten better since the new menu. It actually feels like there are fewer beer options than before also.

Yikes, I have no idea how this place has a 4 star rating. We stopped in on a slow Sunday, and the waitstaff could not have been less receptive or helpful upon our arrival. When we asked what burgers were popular, the waitress said "I never eat red meat, so I wouldn't know." The reply and the attached attitude left a lot to be desired. We all ordered burgers, and all 4 of them came very well done. It would be no exaggeration to say Burger King's food was MANY steps above 7West. If you have any other options, I highly recommend avoiding this place.

Terrible experience. First cheese curds were cold, not kinda cold but cold cold. Then after 45 minutes we never saw our order, so we paid for cold appetizers & warm drinks and left. Never again. I would give zero stars if I could.

Came here for a late dinner last night with my son. It was about 9 pm on a Monday night so not packed at all. He ordered the California burger with avocado. I had what seemed to be their house salad and added grilled chicken, avocado and the lime vinaigrette. My son loved his burger. I enjoyed my salad. The lime vinaigrette was pretty good...although I did feel the chicken could be seasoned more and was almost dry. Overall, I would order it again though. I figure it was due to it being late. Also the service was great. Servers were really friendly and the food arrived fairly fast.
