It was my first time trying this spot after my girl recommended this place and it did not disappoint! Our waiter, Alberto, was phenomenal with the service; he was checking up on us at all times to make sure we were comfortable. I'm definitely coming back again and I recommend everyone to give this place a try!

Food was amazing. Sushi was fresh and had great flavor. Service was bad though. Food came out inconsistent and items were missing for 30 plus minutes. This place is great for take out. But if you're looking for a good sit down environment I'd recommend going somewhere else. Servers didn't seem to know what was going on. A plate fell and broke at a table next to us and no server came to clean it up. Then the server proceeded to pay out the table and didn't seem to care about the broken glass and food everywhere. Just bad service all around.

The Worst Sushi Experience of My Life!!! I ordered sushi here for a family dinner, and it was a complete disaster. I got four different rolls, and every single one was absolutely disgusting. Instead of fresh, flavorful sushi, everything tasted bitter, sour, and spoiled. It felt like the fish had been sitting out for days. Not only was the food inedible, but it completely ruined what was supposed to be a nice family evening. Everyone at the table pushed their plates away after just one bite. We ended up throwing everything in the trash and ordering food from somewhere else. For the prices they charge, this was beyond unacceptable. I've had sushi from gas stations that tasted better. I honestly can't believe they're still in business serving food like this. If you care about your health, your money, or your taste buds--stay as far away from this place as possible Minus 6 stars!!!

This sushi spot is a must go! We were greeted with warm smiles and top-tier service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about your dining experience. The sushi was incredibly fresh and the menu has a great variety! If you're looking for a memorable sushi experience, this place is it! You won't be disappointed. Such a good place, they have a very good a huge menu but what it catch us and enjoy the most was the pulpo, if you come don't skip this entre! I never notice that some sushi places don't have a big menu for people who actually don't eat sushi and this time a guy from our group didn't like sushi and this place is so good that they even have a full page for other options, I really love that, thanks. Like I said their sushi was great, everything taste very fresh and good, the prep was actually really fast they also have dumplings which I love, the deco was very pretty, the service is great and fast, also very helpful, Thankyou for your service.

Everything was delicious! We had the chef's special, eel nigiri, the big boy roll, and of course some sake to wash it down. Service was outstanding at the height of the dinner rush. Nice ambiance- 10/10 would recommend!

First time here, amazing service and everyone is so friendly! The sushi is super fresh and the spicy edamame is delicious. Music is chill and the place has cool dim lights, not overly loud. Definitely adding this one to my go-tos!

It sucks that the service was bad, because I really liked the food here. I used to order takeout from here a lot back in 2020 and 2021. Ate here for dine in as well, but never had bad service before today. Overall, this is a solid place for some affordable rolls. They always have the 50% off special, too. You really can't go wrong with any roll you order. The quality is great. Service this last visit was bad. We were repeatedly asking for basic things, like water. The server didn't check on us after we got our food so she didn't know we didn't have everything we needed. She sort of just had an attitude from the moment she came to our table. Maybe it had nothing to do with us, but it did spoil the experience. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'd give 6 stars if I could. The sushi here is very good. I like some pieces more than those in omakase course. The ingredient is fresh. The menu is quite creative so it's quite fusion but they did it really well. The handrolls and sushi set is definitely the must-try. The seaweed is very crispy!! This is so rare!! The fish melts in the mouth like literally. They also added truffle and gold plates. It's a real hidden gem. Actually, we enjoyed everything we had here but if I were to point out some best of the best: enogi fries, salmon teriyaki rice, carpaccio.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch after doing a little shopping, and we're so glad we did! It's a quaint, small spot with a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The food was really good -- fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I came here during dineLA for a dinner of $35 Amenities: Parking at Formosa street. First hour is free. Second hour is $2. Food: The dineLA menu has a variety of options. The price was way cheaper than ordering individually and I enjoy how much food I got. The food was fresh and decent. I don't have any complaints about their quality. Raw fish was fresh. The sukiyaki broth was heart. The dessert came with 3 huge scoops of ice cream. Service: Staff were attentive and filled up water constantly. Service was great despite how crowded the restaurant was.

AYO!!! I'm back and if your looking for a good traditional Bento Box than Crazy Rock'N Sushi is the spot. Such a great deal for 3 items $21. Bentos are such a comforting meal, it comes with Miso and side salad with the famous Asian dressing. I selected chicken teriyaki, assorted tempura, CA Roll. It's the combo I always pick but switch between Beef and Salmon. Staff was super attentive and they work as a Team cause 3 people touched my table. Very clean restaurant. You can use the Target parking structure and cards are accepted. Inside was dark and Music was on point!

This is a nice place for a group or date dinner. The music isn't too loud so you can have a conversation but loud enough to not overhear other conversations. The food is delicious, the sashimi and fresh sushi tastes fresh. The kitchen is decorated nicely and looks clean. I recommend the sashimi bowl and the cherry blossom role if you like raw fish. Our server Alberto was attentive and helpful with the menu for our first time here. He was able to tell the ingredients and fish apart which I found impressive. I recommend this place for the atmosphere and even more for the service.

Great local spot my lady and I enjoy coming to whenever we have the hankering for sushi. We enjoy sitting at the bar. I enjoy having the unagi donburi, and the yellowtail collar is great as well. Service has always been great here foe the years we have been coming here. Street parking is hard to come by, but parking under the building is easy and plentiful.

We are veteran sushi goers and this place was delish, fresh, and great service! For fun we ordered the desert Tempura Oreo, and it was phenomenal!

I will say it was packed. But that's truly expected if you are going out on Valentine's day. Despite it being packed, the workers were hustling. They were attentive despite having to handle incoming customers, Uber eats, pick ups, and waiting on tables. Elmer and Luis were both kind, helpful, checked on our table. They didn't stop a beat. I have been to other rock'n sushi and I do notice the menu has different items. They don't give complimentary edamame or soup but maybe that's a location thing. Overall the workers make this place pleasant. The best customer service I've had in all the rock'n locations I have visited. I appreciate them being attentive despite such a busy night. Really love the food, fresh and delicious! Everyone was so attentive and friendly, very knowledgeable about all dishes and promotions. The atmosphere was nice as well. Great for a chill night with my husband.

We ordered food from here on Uber eats a bunch but never actually dined in until now. Came here on a Friday night and got seated right away. Waitress was really nice and went over the menu with us. They have a selection of rolls that are buy one get one 50% off. The foods pretty decent so can't complain. There was a spider on the wall where I was sitting at. Freaked out a little bit but didn't make a scene. The waitress walking by heard me and was nice enough to kill it for me. So they get an extra star for that.

We are repeat customers at Crazy Rock'n Sushi, and it never disappoints! Luis and Sharon are always so welcoming, remember our names and take excellent care of my girlfriend and I. The food is always fresh, the beers and sake are always cold and the service is consistently perfection. We tried the ponzu ceviche today and it was spectacular, along with the bulgogi bowl, and salmon mango roll. As always, we will be back!

This is my first time visiting crazy Rock'n sushi, but it definitely won't be my last. They have good deals going on right now like the BOGO 50% rolls and the summer blowout for sushi and sashimi. My top two favorites would have to be the otsukuri sashimi which contains 20 pieces of chef's choice premium assorted sashimi and the grab sushi combo where you basically grab your own seaweed and wrap the sushi yourself. They have both outdoor and indoor seating as well. The bar area looks beautiful and I'd love to sit there next time. Service was fast and decent as well!

Went to this place on Super Bowl day. It was a very nice Japanese restaurant. I love the food options they have... they literally have everything but all the food we got were delicious. Def recommend!

Parking in this area is typical street meter parking. There's a garage behind the nearby Target that is free for the first hour. The area is very walkable with lots going on all around. The plaza where this spot is located is a very busy on a busy intersection but the location seems perfect. The service was ok but I found it a little weird that we had to pre-authorize a credit card in order to sit on the patio. Apparently it is to deter dine and dashing so be prepared for the. The sushi was good. It tasted fresh and the presentation was wonderful! The prices are decent for sushi and there was quite a large selection making it hard to make a decision. I went with a combo.

I came here to have lunch. I guess they updated menu that so different than before. Especially hand roll. Yummy. You should come here to eat. I highly recommend this place.

One of my favorite places to get sushi! As a pickier eater I enjoy their cooked rolls while my partner typically enjoys more raw fish rolls. The rolls always come out quickly and are tasty. The service is always attentive and kind. We are often checked on and given refills of drinks. The workers are very kind and patient. The lighting is a little dim for me but is nice for an intimate experience/date. I recommend the garlic green beans if you like a little crunch still, they're super tasty!

Food was perfect. Had the Prince and Zen Roll. I highly recommend those. Luis N. Was our server, he was quick and helpful with his superb service. Keep an eye out for him if you want excellent service. Love the chill low light vibe with relaxing music playing they have there. Made for an excellent mood. All in all, would definitely recommend to all my family and friends.
