The 28 Best Hotels in Buenos Aires for Foodies, Tango Enthusiasts, and Architecture Lovers | Condé Nast Traveler

"Right in the thick of the downtown buzz near the Obelisco and Plaza de Mayo, this 1920s Art Deco landmark mixes historic charm with modern flair—marble bathrooms, hardwood floors, and rooftop‑pool city views. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, breakfast is legendary for its pastries, and service is efficient and personable. Some street noise filters through, but that’s part of the city energy; the central location and chilled rooftop cocktails seal the deal." - Celeste Moure

Rooms are clean, good outlet access for modern electronics. Reluctantly provided hot water kettle after multiple requests. No complimentary coffee, tea in room. Absolutely AWFUL WiFi. Frequently dropped connection, best speed 45MBPS per fast.com. Forget streaming, reliable access to email or news on line. My internatiinal roaming cell signal more reliable.

Room wasn’t ready on arrival and eventually insisted on an upgrade to get into a room 21/2 hrs after 3pm check in. Old, dated hotel with funny smell in bathroom from plumbing and all TV channels in Espanyol. Some staff officious and rude. The younger ones were just embarrassed and not sure how to handle our frustration. If staying in Buenos Aires The Hilton was far better in every way.

We came late yesterday (18th October) to the hotel which was organised by our travel company . However the restaurant was understaffed and service was very slow. The poor waitress was rushed off her feet.|In every decent hotel we have stayed in around the world, they supply tea/coffee making facilities in the room but not this one! After asking for one, we waited but nothing came so I spoke to the front desk again only to be told they got the wrong room number! When it arrived there was only one cup and of course creamer for tea but I asked for milk! So a trip to the bar but they wanted to give me a polystyrene cup. Eventually I managed to persuade them to give me a proper cup but I had to pay for the milk. |The other annoying feature is that power sockets are placed in the most stupid of places and not either side of the bed. Also, in today’s modern age, you would want to see USB sockets but not in this hotel so pack an adapter if you must use this hotel.|It is quite obvious that the management of this hotel are totally incompetent and suitable comments will be fed back to the travel company. Whether they use this hotel again is up to them. If you want a decent hotel in this city, I would suggest you look elsewhere.

I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The hotel is old but seemed to be maintained very well. The rooms were clean and spacious. A small nitpick… The elevators are old and slow.

I escorted a group of university students on their first visit to Buenos Aires, and for that purpose, the 725 Continental Hotel was a good choice. Rates were reasonable and the location is convenient to many of the "must sees and must dos" in Buenos Aires. And wi-fi was reliable, and breakfast was quite good. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The gym though was underwhelming and definitely needs an upgrade.||My room was large but a bit worn and could use a refresh. But it was quiet, clean and comfortable.||I would recommend the 725 Continental Hotel as a good choice for a hotel in the center of Buenos Aires at a generally reasonable rate.

We had such a great stay at the 725 Continental Hotel in Buenos Aires with the US Youth Futsal Association! The rooms were comfortable, the hotel was spotless, and the accommodations made our time there so easy and enjoyable. Jessica, Jimena, and Cristian were absolutely amazing—always so friendly, helpful, and attentive to our group’s needs. The location was perfect for us—just a reasonable walk to a lively area full of delicious food, fun shops, and plenty of tourist attractions to explore. Traveling with a large group can be tricky, but the staff made everything run so smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base during our time in Buenos Aires.

This hotel is not ideal for business travellers, as there are no irons provided in the rooms. I had to borrow one from the front desk, and the process was surprisingly difficult. The day before my conference, I asked the front desk if I could borrow an iron. They agreed and said I could use it for 30 minutes the next morning. However, when I went to collect it the next day, the experience was quite disappointing. A male receptionist—possibly an intern—told me I could only use the iron for five minutes. I explained that five minutes wouldn’t be sufficient at all and reminded him of the prior agreement. He refused to honour it and, after seemingly pretending to call his manager, told me quite rudely that I was not allowed to use the iron at all. He spoke very limited English and said some spanish words very rudely. I guess he was cursing me? I waited until 8:00 a.m. when the manager arrived. Fortunately, he immediately provided the iron as previously promised. I had to rush back to my room, iron my suit, and head straight to the conference.I’ve never encountered such an issue in any hotel before. While I appreciated the manager’s assistance, the behaviour of the receptionist was unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope the hotel management takes this seriously.

Fantastic stay with USYF National Teams this past week. The hotel was clean, well appointed, and had a wonderful staff (special thanks to Jessica, Jimena, and Cristian). The location could not have been better to explore the city and enjoy all that Buenos Aires has to offer.

Yelp
I liked 725 continental for value. We got good online rate. WiFi included and very good breakfast included too. Rooms have good ac, small led TV and OK bed mattress. They are ample and quiet with safe and nice bathroom with tub. Good gym and rooftop pool. Location is OK for tourists walking safe area and close to trendy Puerto Madero. Tourist area. Major government buildings are walking distance too. I could be back to 725 continental no problem. I wished they enforced non smoking floors as it seems some people smoke right next to non smoking rooms. Good on site restaurant. But plenty of others walking distance. There is a bigger gym one block away. Subte stations are within 1 block. Overall if a good online rate this is very good value. Staff could be more friendly....they act a bit careless.

Yelp
Location is nice. I had a very small room with the most uncomfortable twin bed. No washcloths provided. Bring your own. Unable to sleep well due to high level of noise from street and in the hallway. Light also shines in from the hallway under the door. Food and service is good otherwise.

Yelp
This is definitely one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. This is not 5 Stars hotel. Maximum 3. Rooms are outdated! The stuff barely speaks English. Food is awful. You wait for drinks forever. Just one big NO NO!
