"Though it’s just 10 minutes by car from the tourist-thronged Costa Smeralda, the 7Pines Resort Sardinia feels a world away. The new-in-2022 retreat of 76 suites and guest rooms, set along 37 secluded acres of gardens, running trails, and beaches, faces the marine protected area surrounding the Maddalena islands. The retreat is a featured accommodation on new low-footprint, culture-focused Sardinia itineraries from the women-owned and -managed Dolomite Mountains." - Kathryn Romeyn

: We had an amazing and wonderful stay in September when the weather in Sardinia was a bit milder. The professional, efficient, and friendly reception, staff and servers - they all spoiled us and made our 28th anniversary so special! Julia, Angela, Lara, Daniele, Timmy, all the pool servers, the breakfast & dinner servers & hostess, workout facility attendant, spa staff, lovely receptionists and concierge - just everyone was so polite and helpful. The resort was relaxing, scenic, and our room was clean and comfortable. Highlights included: the Spa, Exercise Rm, and the pool (&service), the delicious pizza & wine at Spazio by FP. We've stayed at many hotels (US & international) and this was among our top 5. We've already recommended it to family and friends. Tips: it's not a very large resort, I'd recommend visiting the small provinces and villages nearby for shops, bars, shopping and nice beaches.

Let me start with the major positive, this is a beautiful hotel in an amazing setting right on the coast with its own private beaches. ||Like many hotels in Sardinia, the 7 Pines only offers a Bed & Breakfast offer. ||The included breakfast is excellent with a good variation of hot and cold , local and international dishes. The breakfast team are also very good and attentive. ||The issue you must be aware of if you are thinking of going there is that the food and drinks on offer are ridiculously expensive. ||To give you an example , a gin & tonic is 25euro and a bottle of non alcoholic beer was 18 euro. ||There is a pizza restaurant which they claim is the best pizzas in the world. Unfortunately, my wife’s pizza was raw and it took a discussion before they took it off the bill. ||After that , we ate out of the hotel every evening!!||We like to sit by the pool to chill out and didn’t like that music was played out by “rock effect” speakers all around the pool. We asked for it to be turned down only to be “warned” that it gets louder in the afternoon by the manages instructions||The best element of customer service was Hamza the pool attendant- brilliant service and couldn’t do enough for you. ||In summary the hotel is beautiful but don’t expect good value for money. ||I suggest you hire a car and go to local / other restaurants which were excellent

We Loved the 7 Pines Sardinia! Absolutely Dreamy, Peaceful & New property! The food was wonderful and the staff was Super attentive! Gigi & everyone in concierge were beyond helpful in answering any and all questions. They kindly secured dining and excursion reservations for us. The atmosphere of the resort was really wonderful and our time spent by the beautiful pool was most memorable thanks to Hamsa! Most fantastic and kind pool attendant EVER!

Firstly thank you to all the staff at 7Pines. |When we arrived we were greeted by members of staff to get us checked in with ease and they took our hire car away to be parked (we loved this VIP treatment and just what we needed after our journey. Check in was smooth and we were then taking on a tour in a buggy around the resort and shown to our room. The rooms, views and gardens are just stunning. We appreciate all the work that goes into keeping this place so gorgeous and clean. The house keepers come in twice a day and make your room all tidy again, we love the special night time make over they do :) |All the staff are so helpful, and friendly even down to the pool guys and the security on the entrance. |The reason for giving only 4 stars is for the extortionate price of the food and drink and variety. We only had bed & breakfast but I don’t think there was enough selection. They have a menu you can order from but apart from how I want my eggs, I shouldn’t have to order jam on toast or microwave pancakes.||We would have loved to have wined and dined at the hotel more but you’re not just talking expensive, drinks are MORE THAN 3X the price of drinks outside the hotel.|There’s not a great deal of restaurants and towns to visit near by. And when you do visit, it’s very samey. Food and drink is a massive part of our holiday so we struggled with this particular part unfortunately. ||I feel harsh criticising the food but it would be 5 star if it wasn’t for that. ||All in all though, a fabulous honeymoon.

We had the most wonderful stay at this property! The staff, the room with ocean view and the wonderful service we received made my birthday and anniversary so amazing. Hamza at the pool area was absolutely the best. He was incredibly friendly and just constantly kept checking on us if we needed anything. He had such a wonderful attitude that we skipped the beach the last day and came to hang out at the pool area instead. I highly recommend this resort, and we will definitely be back again!

Hotel strives hard to be a true 5 star but lacks some of the requirements. Some examples: At breakfast, my water glass is never automatically filled. Have to ask each time. And on the last 2 days I intentionally waited 20 minutes before asking just to make sure it wasn’t a timing issue. Valet: 5x I asked concierge to have valet pull up my rental car to reception in 20 minutes; and only 2x was the car actually there. The other 3x I had to ask reception (again). Day of checkout, bellhop took 55 minutes to get to our room to assist with luggage. Followed up 3x during these 55 minutes wait, which is really unacceptable, esp when many are usually headed to airport. Even overheard from another guest that they were running late for airport. Perhaps hiring more staff during August peak season is the solution, don’t know. ||Now that the negatives are out of the way, let’s get to the positives. Got a nice upgrade to sea view room. The air conditioning is super strong, which is a huge statement considering how weak all the other air conditioners are in Italy. This was the one hotel where I did not feel AC was broken. Breakfast was delicious every morning. I recommend the caprese salad, the quinoa salad as well as the smoked salmon. Pool service was also great. Hamsa was the highlight of the trip. He went above and beyond, checking up on us every 30 minutes to make sure we were comfortable. He even told us that the famous Franco Pepe was here and convinced us to dine at Spazio to taste his magic. We could tell that he truly cared about his guests and wasn’t just there to work. ||Sunset drinks at the rooftop champagne bar was awesome too. Property itself is gorgeous. Anyway, I am giving this property 5 stars despite my critiques above mainly because I am a nice guy and am rounding up.

We stayed a week at 7 Pines and all we have is great things to say! The moment you arrive to the moment you depart everything is taken care of, the attention to detail is impeccable, and the welcome is warm. Each and every staff we encountered was joyful and would greet you with a smile, you could tell how incredibly hard working and dedicated everyone is in creating a beautiful atmosphere for the guests. We went during off season and got lucky with a room upgrade. We loved the kitchenette in our room and balcony. The breakfasts every morning were fresh and delicious. The pool and facilities were beautiful, don’t be afraid of the temperature, once you’re in it’s refreshing. Hamzat was great in finding us a great spot and sharing towels and water with us. We ventured off site for a few meals but honestly the hotel food was delicious, especially the pizza! The private beach was very convenient, maybe not the most beautiful on the island but it was nice to have the option. You’ll definitely need a car if you want to venture to nearby Porto Cervo, though it wasn’t as lively or interesting as we had hoped, perhaps because it was off season and quieter. There is a nearby resort town with restaurants, about a 6 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and plan to be back in the future, thank you to each person at 7Pines for making our stay relaxing and unforgettable!

Beautiful and quiet hotel. It was so hot that my husbands Apple Watch fried! It’s basically brand new so the rooms are super clean and fresh. We loved it. We went into town for dinner for more options but the breakfast was good and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
