[True by Spandau Ballet plays]
A good friend of mine says that no matter how bad things are in life, at least pizza's always good. It's so true.
Atmosphere:
800 Degrees doesn't feel like an east coast pizza place, nor does it feel like a Domino's. It's somewhere in between. If you're out of the loop, it's like a fast-casual Chipotle-style choose-your-own-adventure deal.
Food:
Ooh baby. Despite what I said above, I didn't choose my own adventure. I got the Carni specialty pizza. Pepperoni, sausage, bacon. The meats were just salty enough, the dough was crisp but also had a good bite to it, and the cheese was cheesy. My friends got a gluten-free pizza, a margarita pizza, a Carni pizza to go, and some cookies. The cookies looked amazing but they're the most expensive cookies i've ever heard of. I didn't try them so I can't say if they were worth it, but whaaaaaat. Anyway, the pizza did the trick and I ate the whole thing. I was hungry and it wasn't a huge pie.
Beverage:
They have those fancy Coca-Cola machines. Love those.
Service:
Good. Not much else to say here.
Price:
For the pizza, fair. For the cookies, it's hard to justify.
Recommend?
Yeeah. I'd go back.
