Please book a table in advance! We had booked a wine tasting here and was really impressed. We were lucky enough to have the sommelier around who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and interactive - a truly great experience. Great wines, great value fro money (considering it comes with a pairing board of cheese and fruit as well) and an unforgettable experience. I urge anyone visiting Tbilisi to visit a branch of 8000 Vintages!

This place is simple but really amazing. There are literally 8000 excellent wines to choose from, but also a selection of really great "boards" of meats cheeses spreads etc. to enjoy with your wine. They are VERY popular and a reservation is generally required any day of the week, as testament to their excellence.

🇬🇪🍷🧀 My cousin invited me to this place while I was visiting Tbilisi. We ordered the Tuscany and Scandinavian boards — both were great, and I loved the way they were served. At the end, we tried the dessert board, which was good. I just wish the almond biscuit had been chewy. They have a great selection of wine — there’s no way you won’t find one you love. It’s also a great place to pick up gifts for your friends and family. I had a great experience and will definitely come back when I’m in Georgia.

My experience deserves one star review but I don’t want to punish the place with a bad rating but rather point out their mistakes and give an opportunity to improve. I was walking around the neighbourhood and saw the place interior with a lot of wine bottles and thought that it should be a nice place to taste some Georgian wines. Apparently it’s not the case and my experience was completely dissatisfactory. Let me point a list of mistakes: 1. I asked whether I can have a sit and taste some wines. A waiters told that the place is fully booked and i can only sit outside. I pointed out that they have 10 empty tables and maybe reservations are not imminent and I can have a table for an hour. She checked and indeed there was a table without reservation for the next two hours. Mistake here - i should have been offered that table without asking but notified by waitresses that its only available for a specific amount of time 2. When I was taken to the table it was served for dinner for two. As I was there only for the drinks table should have been cleaned from unnecessary utensils by the waiter. However i had to push an empty table to the other side of the table to free some space. Empty plates stayed there for the whole hour while I was sitting there 3. The waitress haven’t offered me any water 4. She brought me two bottles of different wine and suggested that I could have one of them first and another second. It was a bit unusual that she didn’t let me try the first wine before pouring the whole glass. Also that she poured into the glass that was already on the table and haven’t brought a specific glass for chosen wine 5. I mentioned that I want to taste some wine but still it would be nice to let me know what appetisers they have in menu. That didn’t happened 6. I was drinking my first glass for around 20 minutes. Waiter never came and ask whether whether it’s something i like and happy with 7. After I finish the first glass no one came and offered to have a second glass. I was looking around feeling quite unwelcome and abandoned for I think at least 20 minutes. At one point waitress even catch my eye and smiled towards me clearly seeing that my glass is empty but didn’t bother to come Just to clarify the place was completely empty. It was just me and another pair at the table next to me. And at least 5 people of working staff doing basically nothing even chatting at the bar. So they have plenty of time to pay attention to a few guests the had at the moment When I eventually stand up and asked to pay from who I believe was an administrator and pointed out that I basically waited for 20 minutes for the waiter to come she replied literally “that I should have not counted minutes and asked for another glass myself”. It still puzzles me how exactly i should have done it maybe by running after the waiter myself To summarise wine was okay, service is really-really bad especially when administrator told me that it’s my fault and I should have somehow asked for another glass without waiter being present. I believe I haven’t asked for something unusual by coming into the wine bar and asked that I want to spent an hour tasting wines)

This is probably the nicest place I’ve been so far in Tbilisi, the ambience is quiet, the boards are absolutely amazing 🤩… the wines are fantastic.. Good service Prices are very affordable Quality is great Ambience is wonderful Venue is beautiful 10/10 100% recommended

The selection of Georgian wines at 8000 vintages is truly impressive and the wine boards are not only amazing but also delicious. What really stood out to me was the friendly and knowledgeable staff—everyone was eager to share insights about the wines and help us find the perfect bottle. I personally loved this place!! We kept ordering and ordering. EVERYTHING about this place was perfection. The location is a bit hard to find cause it looks like a small shop fork out side But once you get inside it’s huge And it’s a very lovely place The staff was so sweet The price was really good And the quality of food and drinks was just straight up 10/10 Definitely recommend this place

One of my favorites places in Tbilisi to drink Georgian wines. The variety of local wines available in this shop is impressive. Wines from all types, vintages, and region across Georgia. The wine boards also are exquisite and diverse. This place also offer wine tasting. If you like wine, you definitely must to come!
