804RVA

Working out of 804RVA is a great resource for remote workers or entrepreneurs. The atmosphere at 804 is very laid back but everyone is friendly, helpful, and will go out of their way to welcome you to the "Wolfpack." There are open areas for communal work as well as quieter spaces and small rooms to take private calls. Coffee is provided (which we all know is the life blood of entrepreneurs) and you are constantly surrounded by an amazing community! Working out of coffee shops is great, but the connection with other driven community-focused people is well worth joining.

As a new resident to Richmond, I was really lucky to land at 804RVA. The community was incredibly welcoming and they've helped me navigate everything from registering my business, buying a home, networking with other local writers, and even dining out! Being here has helped me to focus on my work while also building friendships and relationships with energetic locals involved in the city at a deep level. It's been a great place to work and really smoothed my transition to Richmond!

I have been going to 804RVA since 2012 and I LOVE it! The space is fantastic; there are multiple places to work depending on your need and mood. If I want to work but be willing to chat, there are communal tables. If I want to relax there is a lounge area and then there are also places where I can sit quietly if I am in "heads down" mode. There are also conference rooms, breakout areas and "phone closets" if I need to have a private call. For all that, the people are the best part. Not only have I been able to do my work, I have met great people and those relationships have turned into business relationships, ideations and maybe most importantly friends. The people who work there are varied and have a wide range of experience. If I could say one thing about 804RVA it is that it is a fantastic place to get work done and meet interesting and compelling people who can help me in my business endeavors at the same time. Come try it out, you won't regret it!!

Great space! I love the atmosphere of working quietly when I need to hunker down but chat with everyone over Tea Time! It's open and really welcoming but you always find a quiet space if you need it. Honestly, the people are the best part. I used to work from home by myself which became daunting, but hanging out with these creatives and lovely geeks makes all the difference. I came to cowork, and I'm staying for the community of awesome people!

I needed a quick day pass to have a place to complete an online training course while I was in Richmond. 804RVA was the perfect spot! The people were nice, I was able to get started immediately with no hassle and it was a quiet and easy place to work for a few hours. I'll be back if I'm in Richmond and need a place again.

If you're a freelancer, writer, programmer, hacker, nerd, entrepreneur, or just get lonely working alone, 804RVA is the place for you! I feel so much more productive being part of a collaborative community of other creative folks and love the fact that so many people are around to hang out with, do stuff after work with, etc. There are lots of great weekly events, speakers and talks where you can network and learn something new, plus beer on tap and awesome events like Wolf Shirt Wednesday and Nacho Taco Potluck Fridays. “804” for short, this place is a tribe of people committed to their own work and to each other. It’s a great space to stop by for a day pass if you are in town for a conference or on business, or to stick around long-term if you’re a local freelancer or start up. There’s lots of interaction and camaraderie focused around networking and helpful workshops, as well as more informal chances to hang out and get to know folks. Stop by for one of the many events that are open to the public!

I have been visiting 804RVA since it was established in 2011. I have had excellent coworking experiences here. I have met an awesome group of people, that I can freely share ideas and get their diverse input on various work projects, or just conversations about anything in life really. This is unlike any working experience I've ever experienced, it's an incredible networking opportunity. If you have reached a wall on your project, just start talking about it with people, there's probably one if not several, coworkers who can share their experience on how to overcome your challenge(s). I used to be super introverted when it came to work, I would hunker-down and try and do it all on my own. I started coming to 804RVA and it completely shifted my paradigm of how to on productivity by using groups/teams, and garnish inputs/feedback with others. This helped me in my 9-5 job! I've made lifelong friends because of these relationships. I'm a proud member of the 804 Wolfpack!

804RVA is a co-working space located on West Broad. There are three different levels of memberships you can purchase in order to use the space. You can also purchase a day pass for the space. A group of my peers and myself use the space to record a podcast. The owners at 804RVA have been great with working with our large group. The space is clean, there are plenty of outlets and the wi-fi is free. I recommend 804RVA for any creative/entrepreneur looking to use a co working space.

This country club for nerds is an incredible spot for people to collaborate, hang out, and get to know people you wouldn't normally ever work with. Larkin Garbee is the lifeblood of this organization (wolf pack), constantly bringing innovative ways for coworkers to get to know each better, hosting events, and creating a better environment for the coworkers. It's definitely worth checking out with a free day to prospective new coworkers. Rates are incredibly reasonable, especially when you consider free coffee, and most of the time, free beer. There are fulltime office space rentals available as well. Be prepared to ramp up your productivity as the hours fly by. Disclaimer: I'm the lucky guy who is married to Larkin.

For my graduation reception I decided to have my event here at 804RVA. The venue opened a little later than I had originally wanted but once it was open it was great. Luis did everything possible to make my reception great and helped with getting anything that was needed. It ended up being way better event than I had ever thought it would be. My family and friends all had an amazing time and loved the layout of the venue. I recommend anyone who plans an event here to get the rooftop access as well. The rooftop has a very good, relaxing vibe to it and its so nice during the summer night after 95 degree weather. Thank you Luis and 804RVA for everything! If I have another event I will definitely host it here again.
