Wow! What a cute little hidden gem. It’s a Viet style cafe that also offers amazing Banh Mi. I would love to come back and try all the flavours. Had the Roasted Pork Banh Mi today… so good! Viet coffee was also on point. Great little spot, highly recommend.

My friends recommended I try their Durian Coffee and Egg Coffee, and this time I went for the Egg Coffee, which is literally made with egg yolk 🍳. The yolk is whipped into a thick, creamy texture—like heavy cream but slightly stickier. This rich cream is layered on top of Vietnamese coffee, with a dusting of cocoa powder to add a hint of chocolate aroma and a subtle bitterness that balances the sweetness. I truly enjoyed the coffee! I’d recommend trying the egg yolk cream on its own with a spoon first, then taking a sip to experience the mixture of flavors, and finally using the spoon to filter the cream and taste the coffee underneath. It felt like enjoying three different desserts in one drink, making for a wonderful afternoon tea experience ☕️.

Had the infamous durian coffee and tofu banh mi from here this afternoon. The durian coffee was so well balanced and creamy. It wasn't overpowering at all and worked so well (if you like durian). I was also surprised to find a vegan banh mi on the menu which I couldn't see on previous pics in these reviews so it was a great surprise to see that they updated things and cater for vegetarians/vegans now (they ask of you want mayo). I totally smashed the banh mi and forgot to take a photo lol. But it was delicious with generous fillings! Well marinated tofu, delicious mushroom pate and the actual baguette was legit. Crispy and airy like it's meant to be, unlike a lot of the dense versions you find here in North America. Very refreshing to see such places put so much effort into their veg options. What a delight. Keep doing what you're doing 👍🏻

We came across this cute little coffee house today and fell in love! The decor is cozy and homey, and the staff are super friendly with big smiles. We had the Vietnamese latte and Hojicha latte. Both were phenom! We also had the egg croissant 🥐 👌 will return! PS - the pastry chef has a cert from Cordon Bleu 👩‍🍳

Unreal coffee shop, i came here originally for some traditional Viet coffee and while the coconut affogato was exceptional, their tea game was the real shit. Yap all you want about the coffee but Vũng Tàu, aka creamy houjicha latte is top 2 houjicha latte in Toronto for me, just behind the goat Matcha², the matcha affogato was also a pleasant surprise with how well the cocoNUT flavor paired with that grass taste ;))) AND 6$, 6 FOOKING DOLLARS, Tsujiri never again!! I am flabbergasted yes but what can I say, this place is just THAAAT insane :^)

My coworkers and I visit here often as it’s right by or workplace, we all love it. The cafe menu is like no other. You’ll never fail to find something for your current mood or taste pallete. During our recent visit we tried the durian latte, the coconut affogato and lavender hot chocolate latte. All of them exceeded my expectations. It was my first time ever trying durian, you would never think to enjoy it with cofffee. But I was pleasantly surprised. It added a nice touch of flavour without being too over powering. Coconut affogato, had sharp notes of espresso with added texture and sweetness from the shredded coconut. Perfect for someone looking for something both cold, caffeinated and with coconut. Lavender hot chocolate latte. Felt like Christmas in cup. Very warm, fluffy, with a touch of floral notes. Great when you need a lil comforting drink on a cold day. Usually go here for the banh mi’s, all of them are delicious! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Overall, I had a really good experience at +84. We showed up right when they opened on 11am for Saturday - there's a bit of a rush but the cafe eventually died down. The cafe is very aesthetic, but definitely limited seating. For drinks, we ordered the egg coffee (cold), the honey peach cold brew, the durian coffee (hot). We also ordered the beef banh mi (Ha Noi) and the BBQ pork banh mi (Sai Gon), as well as a durian cheesecake. I think +84 really excels in their drinks: - I will be the first to say I am not a coffee connoisseur, but I personally found the drinks to be really tasty! The Egg Coffee is VERY rich and sweet, which makes sense as I think it's an alternative to using condensed milk, and definitely helps to balance out that strong Vietnamese coffee. I will say, I didn't think it tasted particularly eggy or more custardy, but still yummy! - We were all quite impressed by the durian coffee - the drink is quite well-balanced as the aroma of the durian is subtle but definitely lingers in the mouth. - The honey peach cold brew was also very interesting, as it's not a flavour I would normally combine with coffee. I guess since it's a cold brew, the coffee flavour wasn't as pronounced and it primarily tasted like the honey peach. One of my friends said it's the perfect drink for someone who wants to drink coffee without having to taste it too much LOL I'm mainly taking off a point for their food. Although the food was yummy, I can definitely get cheaper, yummier (and bigger) banh mi's at other restaurants. One of the reasons I love banh mi is how well balanced it is - the pickled vegetables and coriander cut through the fattiness of the meat and pate. However, I found the meats to be a bit overcooked and the sandwich was very saucy, without enough veggies to provide some freshness. The durian cheesecake was quite yummy, although it would definitely taste better if it was warmed up as it was quite firm. I think it would be a great intro to durian as it was not overpowering but you definitely get the essence still. I would be likely to drop by again if I was in the neighbourhood, but I don't think I would travel specifically for it. I think you should definitely try it at least once for the drinks, and we love supporting a small business hehe!

Yelp
+84 Cafe is located near College/Dovercourt where they serve a variety of Vietnamese drinks and food (mainly banh mis). The small cafe is quaint and cute with tables inside as well as a few outdoor tables as well. They have an extensive menu filled with unique drinks I have not seen before as well as your classic Vietnamese coffees. F or banh mis they have 4 to choose from (beef, BBQ pork, roasted pork, and lemongrass chicken), where their 2 most popular are the pork sandwiches. The most unique banh mi is the beef one, also known as their ha noi - banh mi pho. They also have ice cream creations which look refreshing as well. I stopped by +84 on a Friday around lunch time. The cafe was somewhat full but there were still seats and tables available. I ordered at the counter and my food came around 5-10 min later. I ordered the ha noi banh mi and the classic cold Vietnamese milk coffee. The banh mi was unique with the stir-fried beef and the Viet coffee was great. Service and staff were friendly. I ended up talking to staff as I was about to leave and they also mentioned that they have a lot of unique iced teas, they have egg coffee, durian coffee, and even what they call the matcha fresh coconut water (I saw a lot of people order this so I had to ask what it was!). Definitely need to try it next time. Overall, cute new Vietnamese cafe with friendly staff, unique drinks, and delicious food! Definitely will return if Im around the area!

Yelp
This is a new Vietnamese cafe. The name "+84" is the telephone country code. The food and drinks are of high quality. They just opened on 2024-03-31. It is a quaint little cafe with tasteful decorations. We ordered the following: 1. Egg Coffee (hot $5.50). 2. Pink Guava Tea ($6.50). 3. Roast Pork Banh Mi ($12.00). 4. Coconut Ice Cream with Sticky Rice ($15.00). The customer service was good. The Pink Guava Tea definitely had guava fruit in the tea and half a guava fruit at the top. The Banh Mi had roast pork, pate, Viet mayo, house sauce, pickled carrot strips, cucumber slices, and cilantro. I saw them cut the roast pork before lunchtime, so it was really fresh, with the skin very crunchy. The overall combination of tastes was good. The Coconut Ice Cream with Sticky Rice was very good. They add dried coconut pieces, which add to the flavour and crunch. The rice was definitely sticky. There are electrical outlets at the bottom of the seating area. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom, but it is not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2024-079

Yelp
More like a 3.5 but I'll bump it up to 4 because I would go back if I was close by. I have some prejudice as Cong Caphe, another Vietnamese coffee spot, is basically my fave coffee in the city. So I was comparing it a lot to that. In terms of in store experience, I walked in right at 10 and knew what I wanted. I don't understand when coffee shops open that late - especially not Vietnamese coffee, which is super strong (iykyk) and for me, needs to be drunk early and slowly. The vibes were cute but they were just setting up. I thought the portion size looked small for the price but again, because it's a potent brew, it's the right amount. The flavouring was nice and I'd be interested to try their egg coffee next. Good if you're nearby, but not something I'd travel out of my way for.

Yelp
I will definitely be back just for the view.... just kidding. The coconut with sticky rice that I brought is quite interesting. It was very difficult to tell if the coconut ice cream is high quality as I'm no expert in it, but what I can tell you is that the combination of coconut and sticky rice is bomb. My favorite part is probably eating the coconut meat as I haven't eaten them in a long time. Highly recommend, it is a small and cozy setting but still very cute.

Yelp
Best Viet coffee in Toronto. Many selections. Egg Coffee is best. Extremely friendly customer service. Many exclusive collection of Vietnamese banh mi.

Yelp
One of if not the best banh mi I've ever had. My wife and I shared their roasted pork banh mi and it was delicious. Toasted bread, nice and saucy, not dry which is a problem I run into a lot with banh mi, and just overall really great taste and very refreshing. We also tried out tried out the egg coffee and the the Viet latte and both were also delicious. They were creamy and sweet but also had that tasty Viet coffee kick. Can't recommend them enough. Will be returning without a doubt.
