A lovely gentleman at reception greeted me with a smile, took care of my booking effortlessly, and later went above and beyond by printing directions to nearby shops when I asked for help (who even does that anymore?!). Not only was he helpful — he was wholesome and kind, which truly set the tone for my stay. Shortly after, I was greeted by a beautiful woman who happened to know my friend who booked the room for me. She was equally welcoming and even asked if I’d like some milk for my stay – a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made me feel right at home. Now, let’s talk about the room... WOW. This isn’t just any motel — this is five-star comfort in disguise. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and oh-so quiet. You can enjoy total peace unless you choose to open a window for a fresh breeze. Everything is spotless. There’s plenty of wardrobe space, a full set of quality kitchen essentials, and a range of lovely teas and coffees provided. The shower? Absolutely stunning — large, luxurious, and stocked with beautiful NZ-made toiletries (which, by the way, are available for purchase at reception – yes, I was tempted!). The bed was heaven: plush, supportive, and dreamy, with soft linens and a pillow menu that was such a cute surprise. The heat pump worked wonders to keep the space warm and cozy, and the ironing board was a great touch for anyone visiting for business or events. Even the housekeeping staff were lovely — quietly popping in each morning, always with a smile, keeping everything fresh and beautiful without a single disruption. The energy of this place is special — peaceful, clean, kind, and comforting. It has a soul, which not many places do. As someone visiting from Auckland, I truly felt cared for — and I’ll absolutely be back. If you’re ever heading to Tauranga, don’t think twice. Cameron Motel is a rare find. Highly recommend 9/10 Friendly welcoming team Very accommodating and kind, room very clean, warm and comfy. We loved the pillow menu, big beautiful bathroom and bath. The 1 downside was the A2 milk situation, didn't seem fresh and was a bit smelly. Opposite the hospital which is wonderful of visiting sick friends or family. Cafe on site which is great for breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Fabulous room, so much quieter than I thought it would have been. Service was above and beyond.

The motel’s address is on a major road but the motel is actually set behind some other buildings, so it was quiet at night. Our standard studio double room was modern but a little small and included wardrobe, kitchenette, small desk and one lounge chair. The bed was comfortable and there was a pillow menu to choose from. It had a good air conditioner and large TV with sky channels. The bathroom was compact but functional. Overall would recommend.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this accommodation for 8 nights! The owners were truly amazing—welcoming, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The apartment itself was impeccable, spotless, and exceptionally comfortable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our kids were over the moon with the lightning-fast WiFi, which kept them happily entertained throughout our stay. Every detail in the apartment was carefully thought out, ensuring a perfect blend of convenience and luxury. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a superb getaway. Thank you
