I love this place! I ordered the Yam I Am burrito & it was flavorful, juicy, and thick. Such a good and filling vegetarian option! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good portion of fresh, real food ingredients for a fair price. The restaurant is bright, spacious, and clean. Tons of seating & space for groups. So glad we stopped in!

Absolutely loved it here! I got an old school wrap and sadly have no pictures as I started eating it right away. Absolutely enormous wrap and totally delicious. I loved the dressing on my wrap and I also loved that there was a selection of wrap flavors for you to choose from. Can't wait to go back and try one of their burritos.

Friendly staff and great food. Came back to back days for a bowl loaded with chicken and pulled pork and topped with BBQ sauce! The BBQ sauce was sweet, it was great! They have a gluten free desert cookie if looking for a sweet treat. They have a nice magnetic wall full of letters for toddlers to play with

Ever paid $15 for a lettuce sandwich? Well I did at this place. See photos of my wrap. So overpriced it was crazy! 3 ounces of roast beef, and a pound of lettuce. The chili is just a joke. As you can see I spent the extra $2.75(!) for cheese and sour cream. What a waste chili was runny, and over flavored with what tastes like cinnamon. Do not recommend this place in the least!!

Loved the burrito! Large portion. Had to take half of it home. I forget which one I ordered. Nice little place inside with friendly staff.

I tried the “Mountain Goat” wrap and it was a delightful burst of flavors! The black bean hummus and quinoa create a satisfying foundation, enhanced by crisp vegetables, kalamata olives and tangy feta, all wrapped in a spinach tortilla. The herb vinaigrette adds a perfect finishing touch. The “Pico de Gallo and chips” were also a tasty addition. With quick service and a clean, welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great spot to enjoy a meal.

The Yam I Am wrap had sweet cinnamony yams in it. Tasted like a regular burrito that someone added sweet potato casserole inside as a prank.

86 out of 86!! Ordered the Rockabilly burrito bowl 🤤, beyond amazing!! Added avocado, which is very fresh. Very friendly staff, insanely fast, wonderful atmosphere, and incredibly delicious!!!! Anyone passing through Ellsworth should absolutely stop here for a bite! 😊

The food here is amazing! Found 86 This when searching for good, vegetarian lunch places in the Deer Isle and surrounding areas (not much in Deer Isle itself). I got the Yam I Am on a Sundried Tomato Wrap and it blew me away. The yams were perfectly seasoned, all the ingredients fresh, and the best part, my burrito was NOT soggy (unlike Chipotle, Moes, and tons of other wrap and burrito places I've frequented over time). The perfect place for a vegetarian looking for a quick lunch or dinner. The service was great, very friendly, and the line was non-existent. The bathrooms leave something to be desired style wise, but they had some cool posters for local events up and even a mini seat attachment for kids (or people with small butts). Would definitely come again!

Hey, there! Still here and still loving 86 This! In May, I gave birth to my daughter at the Maine Coast hospital in Ellsworth. I was so, SO happy to find a voucher for a free meal for my husband and myself in the mix of things you leave the hospital with. I don't know if 86 This offered this to the hospital or what the arrangement is, but wow, brilliant marketing. It may seem silly, but that free meal was like a hug and a big old high five for giving birth. So awesome! I love that they support local moms. I love their food, I love everything about this place! Give them your business, they definitely deserve it.

Went for lunch while out shopping and had the turkey driver and it was soooo good. A big fat burrito with just the right amount of condiments (on a sun-dried tomato wrap) Also had a bite of the flaming lip and that was 10/10 too I would get that next time. Nice place inside with cute window seating. Would go regularly if I lived closer!

Ordered the Flamjng Lip and the Turkey Driver and both were delicious! Perfect amount of everything and fun flavor combinations. Service was friendly and helpful and the environment was clean and organized

Great food. Portions got smaller for a bit, went back after awhile and happy to see the portions back to where they were.

Husband and I went here for an early dinner. There were a few people waiting for their orders and a few people in line. The counter lady stated right off it would be about 20 minutes before we got our order. I really appreciated the update front time frame. Well it was not that long maybe 10 minutes, we were pleasantly surprised. I got the roasted tomato soup, and my husband I both got the BYOB with chipotle pushed chicken. The burrito was very funny, the first bite was very yummy! Loved the house chipotle crème, very tasty. The roasted tomato soup was really good as well! There is seating inside or outside in the back of the restaurant. The outside seating area was perfect and quiet. They offer wine, beer and local sodas and coke products. Writing this is making me want the burrito again!!! We'll be back.

Food is incredible. Staff out of this world. Love the aesthetic of the restaurant and town. Love this area to sit outside and enjoy my delicious burrito! 100% wish we had this closer to home! We went here twice and can't get enough! Love love love!

The food was delicious . The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was laidback and smooth. We were making a quick stop for lunch and taking a break from the drive. My sister ordered the chili and she said it had the right amount of spice. My nephew enjoyed a bowl of pork with rice and I had a spinach wrap with chipotle pork. I would definitely recommend this place.

If you enjoy being served by a "Karen," you'll love it! It's crazy pricey and the Coffee and tea is self service and NOT complimentary!!!! The music was deafening and the food was mid at best!!! Not to mention if you spend over $100 they charge an extra 10%

The service was horrible, the lady who took out order was so snappy and short to me. Cutting me off and giving me dirty looks. Once I got my $17 burrito it was tossed at my by the sloppy gentleman. Adding to the fact a pervert was banging on the bathroom door and trying to pry it open while my sister was inside causing a scene throughout the whole restaurant. All while the employees sat and watched.

Great spot!! Lots of offerings- affordable and the burritos and wraps are way more than one person can eat in one meal. It generally takes me 3 meals to finish one. The Yam I am which features sweet potatoes, cheese, rice, black beans, avocado, pico and crema is outstanding. The taste melds well and is very satisfying. They have a great selection of fox family chips and pellegrinos. They even have cookies! Dine in or takeout- my only complaint is dining in the music is a tad loud if you're having a conversation with others. The old school chicken salad sandwich was rocking. I can't wait to try everything on the menu.

Rude service towards tourists. They have a massive back patio with wide space between tables and won't accommodate dogs. When I asked for advice for a place to take the food to go with my dog or a local alternative restaurant, they simply said "no" - the restaurant wasn't busy, they didn't have any other customers to serve. Absolutely skip this if you're not a local, this is not the hospitality I expect for a small coastal town in the off-season.

This is an amazing place. So reliable. My visits here are in frequent, but I'm never disappointed. We had sandwiches here today and soup and they were both such high-quality. The turkey driver sandwich is absolutely delicious. Fresh. Great spinach wraps around their sandwich. Their red pepper soup was just as delicious today. Perfectly seasoned. Great ambience. Seriously, if you are in Ellsworth and looking for a place for lunch or dinner, you need to stop here.

86 this has really big burritos lol but they are not just huge but they are delicious too and made with good quality ingredients. I also really enjoy their black bean hummus and chips as a side or a to go snack. They have outdoor and indoor seating and it doesn't feel super congested to eat inside or out. I would highly recommend it.

Rating is 3.5 stars. We ate lunch here, we both had a bowl of the Spitting Venom chili and split an order of nachos. We added cheese (upcharge) to the chili. The chili was good -- smoky with ground beef and sausage, flavorful but not overly spicy (but I like really spicy food). There was a generous serving of tortilla chips with the chili. The nachos were just okay -- the pico de gallo was not very flavorful--mushy tomatoes with a little red onion and a touch of cilantro. I'd go back for the chili and to try the wraps. Decent selection of canned beverages, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. Nice industrial feel to the restaurant with tables and at the window seating.

Not real sure why this is so highly rated...bland, bland burritos. Even salt did not help. Cold rice and beans inside. Not enough flavor for us to continue beyond two measly Pam Beasley bites. No sauces available besides pico, which tasted like watery mushy tomatoes . A flavorless tomato and burri-toe. Because I might as well eat feet. I can't wait to 86 this burrito out of my food repertoire.

We were so hungry we didn't think to take pictures of our huge burritos! Absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the Boss Hog and loved it. I had the Yam I Am and it was amazing. So many different flavors coming together perfectly. Great little place, cool vibe, and friendly service.

This a great spot for a quick and easy lunch. They serve wraps, burritos and salads. I've tried several different items in their menu but the standout item/my go to is the Boss Hog as a bowl. It's just as tasty as a burrito but much easier to eat as a bowl. If you're looking for something different from the standard Maine lobster fare, try the boss Hog!

I commented casually to my wife that The Boss Hog may indeed be the best burrito wrap I've ever had. I will stand by this statement. Easily two meals, the pulled pork is cooked to perfection with spices that are nothing short of sublime. The cabbage, the rice, the beans, the crema--exquisite. My wife thoroughly enjoys the Yam burrito and I can vouch it is indeed delicious and generous in its helping. We always grab 86 This! when heading to Acadia and usually have left overs for the ride back. The Cesar Salad was so tasty. What a treat!

Slow service. Food is ok but not worth the price. 2 burritos and can soda was $45. The ambiance is more San Francisco than midcoast Maine. They have indoor seating and a patio. We took our dogs there for lunch on the patio and were told no dogs allowed. Paying $45 to eat in your car is an absolute joke. The 30 min wait when there's only 1 other person in the restaurant is a bigger joke. Go to Chipotle. It taste better and is a better value. Nothing about this restaurant is "Maine".

I can't wait to "86 This" out of my life. My official review from a first time patron: Food - less than mediocre. Chipotle Mexican Grill is better, even with the listeria that they seem to serve patrons all the time. Portion sizes are small in relation to the cost of the item. Service - Poor. I called the evening prior to a lunchtime pickup for my small office. "We request that you don't make a lot of alterations." & "We require 24 hours notice (It was 6:30pm for a noon pickup the next day), but you didn't know that so we can continue" & "Oh, because your order is over $150 we charge an automatic 10% gratuity." If your food was phenomenal - I wouldn't care about how much $ it is or how you nickel and dime your customers like an airline carrier. I wouldn't even write a review, I would tell everyone how awesome your food is. If your service was just "okay" - I wouldn't care. It's a burrito joint. The only thing I care about feeling is not feeling hungry. But the service wasn't okay - it was pathetic. I would have love to order online to avoid calling your hired help, but that feature doesn't work either. I thought I would feel better writing this, but now I'm just getting hungry. Too bad there isn't a good burrito joint around. Too bad I tell everyone to 86 "86 This."

My friend and I had been road tripping through Maine and were ready for lunch. A few minutes before we came to this place, we had gone in to another place just up the street and had been ignored by the host, so we left. Guess they didn't want our business! That's okay, aa we both got wonderful food here. I wish I could remember the name of the wrap I got. It was excellent and plentiful. Enough for 2 lunches. Friendly staff. I'll go back in when up that way again!!

Although I really enjoy lobster rolls and seafood, their flavors are a bit delicate and light. I really wanted something with more flavor, and this place hit the spot. The burritos are packed with flavor and just nicely packed/wrapped. It is like a Chipotle/Qdoba, but made with more care and with more stronger flavors, which I was craving. We got both a burrito as well as a bowl ,and both tasted very good. As of late August, they are takeout and outdoor seating only.

Family of four (2 carnivores/2vegans) says, "Best wraps we've ever had!" Awesome ingredients and preparation. The nachos were also super tasty. Love this spot in a really cool little town.

We tried 4 different burritos and 1 wrap in addition to 2 soups. Highlight was the 'yam I am' burrito. Unique twist on a traditional burrito. Build your own was also good. We must commend the lady at the checkout counter. When my wife was done ordering even I was confused, but that lady got it exactly right. Each and every burrito was correctly labeled. Excellent service.

They stuff these suckers good. Will fall apart unless you're careful, but then you get like an after salad coarse so it's all good. Definitely recommend, well worth the money, and ingredients taste fresh and quality. Didn't feel dumpy after eating too much of this delicious burrito. We're staying only a few days before continuing our road trip, I think this thing will feed me throughout my time here. Please try!

Delicious!!! We eat once a week when they're open. Everything has been tasty and our 8 month old loves the black bean hummus! Perfect with Covid precautions and we're super grateful.

The staff was extremely friendly and the food came out super quick. Their menu accommodates vegans/vegetarians/gluten free people so I felt extremely good right as I walked through the door!

Food review only. The place is take out only. This spot is money !! The Chili is spicy, but one of the best takes I have had on it. We both got huge burritos. The sweet potato burrito is 5 stars and the Hog Boss was pretty solid. The taste here is good. I would for sure stop again.

I just moved here and have been trying out all of the restaurants on Main Street. This restaurant is my least favorite. Wraps/burritos are just average, nothing special. If you want quantity this is your place, but if you want quality go somewhere else. The chicken in my wrap was dry and unseasoned. The sauce was good in it, there just wasn't enough in it. This place is pretty much just another Chipotle.

Ordinary burritos for the price, extra charges for many items. I ordered Rockability which came out very tangy tasting. Yam I am was excessive quinoa and no hummus.

I looked up vegetarian places on yelp and this popped up. We were driving back from Arcadia national park and passing back through Ellsworth so stopped for a bite before they closed. I had a tasty veggie burrito, i couldn't finish it all! Yam I Am: roasted spicy sweet potato, black beans, rice, pico de gallo, avocado, chipotle creme, it comes with cheddar/jack but I added feta instead. It was delicious. If I'm ever back that way I will be definitely stopping by again.

Rice and beans inside a wrap does not make a burrito. The wrap was doughy, the fillings did not taste good together. Also most of the fillings were near fridge cold. My recommendation to the owners is to swap to real tortillas and put a little care into the ingredients, or just stick with wraps. Very disappointing

Hands down one of my favorite places to get take out. The food is always fresh, and the staff is incredibly nice. They're quick and time efficient and I've never had a problem with this business. Nothing but love!
