We had reservations for a Khufu’s the "fancy" restaurant nearby but canceled, as it felt like a tourist trap without such a great view. While on our camel ride, we decided to go to the 9 Pyramids Lounge and decided to try our luck.
It was fully booked and sold out (of course!), but the staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating. They kindly offered that we didn't need to eat, we could just order drinks and relax in their beautiful cushion area. It was the best decision ever!
We weren't very hungry anyway, so we settled in with some amazing drinks. And the view… it was the most breathtaking, panoramic vista of the Giza Pyramids we found anywhere. It was so relaxing and dreamy it was almost emotional. You feel like royalty lounging there, gazing at the timeless monuments, like Queen Nefertiti herself looking upon the eternal "Benben" stones, the sacred mounds of creation.
We spent about 40 minutes there. The drinks were fantastic, the service was fast, and we took some of the most beautiful photos and memories that will stay with us forever!
Hands down, the best, best, best place to go for an authentic, magical, and affordable experience with the pyramids as your backdrop. Skip the overpriced traps and come here instead, but if you want to eat outside, make reservation with plenty of time!
