We’ve stayed at two other Domes properties before and had high expectations—The 91 Athens Riviera didn’t disappoint. The accommodation is exceptionally high-end, with beautiful interiors and a full Sonos sound system, beautiful toiletries and a decent mini bar made it feel even more premium. Our kids loved it.||The villa was spacious enough for our family of four, with a large outdoor area featuring a hot tub, sunbeds, and a lovely view of a small, man-made pond. Our kids had a balcony that overlooked the pool, and the vistas all around were impressive. One note: storage is limited, so pack light.||The biggest downside was the noise. The canvas-style roof offers little sound insulation, so you can hear everything—especially the birds, who became our 6am wake-up call. Peaceful in theory, but we would’ve loved to sleep in just a bit longer!||Dining was solid, with one casual and one fine dining option—both enjoyable. Poolside service was also good, but the main pool was freezing, which didn’t make sense since there’s a large heated adults-only pool at the fitness area. Unfortunately, kids can only use that pool at restricted times.||The gym is well-equipped, and the tennis facilities are great, but the pricing for tennis was frankly outrageous—€100/hour, which felt wildly out of step, even for a luxury resort. We’ve never seen that at any other Domes property. You pay to be at the hotel and don't expect to be hit like that for courts. ||On the plus side, the location is excellent—restaurants are within walking distance, and Athens is just a 20-minute drive away.||All in all, we’d recommend it for the luxury and convenience, but we’re on the fence about returning given some of the quirks.
