The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets, etc. The staff are friendly, the rooms are immaculately clean, the toilets are clean, and the showers have plenty of hot water. It was mid-winter in August, so the room was cold. There was no heating or air conditioning, which was a bit inconvenient. We were in a family room on the third floor, so the stairs were quite difficult, and there was no lift. Our plan included breakfast, so our family of four ate every morning at the cafe on the first floor. It was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel in Cape Town.

Our family of five stayed in a private room for three nights. The beds were brand new pods and rooms including floor was warm - something we hadn't come across in our previous three weeks of travel elsewhere. Outside noise Saturday night was loud until 11 AM - no noise issues on Sunday or Monday, however. Wifi was solid. The most notable plus was the staff - everyone we dealt with was fantastic, including the owner Glen who happily offered to move his vehicle so we could park our truck rental out front for half of our stay. We would absolutely stay here again when we come back to Cape Town. Breakfast and dinner was terrific as well, and location hard to beat.

Great location. I got a private room. Room was comfortable, good value and clean. Hot water was consistent and plentiful for showers - better than most high end hotels actually. No screens on windows and no AC; so, if it’s warm, you’ll open your windows and likely experience a small number of flying bugs in your room - but nothing crazy or unexpected (for me at least). Room cleaning was very good. Downstairs lobby, bar, restaurant, lounge and amenities were clean, comfortable and useful - not just for show. Overall, good experience.

I think the location was nice. Convenient in relation to restaurants and bars. The walk to V and A took about 25 minutes. Doesn’t seem super safe at night though so make sure you take an uber or taxi. Service was… interesting. I’ll leave it at that but know the food quality isn’t great. You’re better eating at any of the places nearby for cheaper and better food. We had a six bed dorm. No issues at all except there is no elevator so carrying heavy bags was annoying but shouldn’t be an issue for most of the type (and age) of people who would choose to stay here.

Positive stay, We booked a private room with an en-suite for 4 people when the room has 6 beds due to cost and it was really good. The room was clean, there were free towels to use during the stay, under-bed storage for bags and cleaners came every day to do general cleaning of floors. The free breakfast was a positive along with nice options. Staff were accommodating and lovely and downstairs is a nice place to charge belongings if you didn’t bring an adapter. ||The only minor point is that it isn’t really a place for a younger crowd because it is a place for people to stay during work. I’d recommend Never@Home if you want a younger, busier crowd!

Much better than I could've expected for the price, clean, cozy and lots of space in your sleep pod with a charging port, lights and even space to leave your things safely.

They were 6 beds on one room we occupied 5. They only made 3. Bar lady / manager had an unpleasant attitude, made us wait 45 minutes for a preordered (order placed previous evening) breakfast. The accommodation is nicely located though

People are not allowed to eat in the rooms yet some of the people are diabetic. No aircon and the blankets are not warm. The dinning side was not ever cleaned
