Yelp
Everybody's been to a bunch of taco places they're all very good. This particular place was absolutely amazing. Some of the best taco that had Mexico. Real simple place no late choice service your order from a kiosk and must've saved the money on the staff spent the money on the food because it is good really good

Mel S.

Yelp
Cool spot for a fun spin of birria and Mexican food. Service and Staff: - Order at the kiosk inside - They will come find you and say your name out loud (no number or anything given) Food: - Churos: comes with 4 and they're quite large - Cookies n Cream Cheesecake: they have different flavor cheesecakes, but had to go with this one. It was rich, creamy, and delicious - Quesabirria: quite a large dish as it's one giant quesadilla cut into four slices. Lots of cheese and birria. Comes with consome and chips Miscellaneous: - Indoor and outdoor seating available - Outdoor seating is quite loud because it's basically right under the train - There was a bad smell every couple minutes outside (like trash) - Very casual place

Yelp
This is the first time I couldn't even finish three tacos. And that's saying something--once upon a time, I devoured 18 authentic tacos in a single sitting. But today? My stomach was wrecked. Let's start with the one redeeming quality: the meat was flavorful. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The tacos were absolutely drenched in sauce--so much so that I wouldn't be surprised if each one packed 1,000 calories in mayo alone. Both the steak and chicken tacos were unbearably heavy, making them impossible to finish. And the elote? It tasted like someone squeezed an entire tube of mayo onto it. To make matters worse, the tortillas were cold, greasy, and limp, completely ruining what could have been a great bite. It's a shame--such tasty meat deserved far better treatment. In conclusion there was no atmosphere since you order with a computer and no one to help when you need your stomach pumped.

Yelp
Self-service spot with a good menu! I got the birria tacos and the horchata. I always say I'm not a taco fan, but it was really good. I finished it all! Prices were mid ranged since it doesn't come with a side or anything.

Yelp
I stopped by last night after a Yelp Elite event in the area & had a great visit! They have kiosks located inside where you place your order. The staff were friendly & extremely helpful throughout the visit--while ordering, delivering our food & providing accompaniments. The interior is vibrant with colorful murals & LED signs throughout. Their patio has a good amount of seating & is a great spot to people watch. I got the Taco Trio & chose all birria. While the flavor was great, I really wish the tortilla was fried, especially since they use corn ones which I'm not really a fan of. The beef was well seasoned but the consommé was too watery for my liking, despite having great flavor. The street corn was sooo good--creamy & flavorful with a slight kick to it. It paired really well with my taco. For dessert, I ordered a guava cheesecake which was to die for. Rich, creamy & infused well with guava. I did try the chicken achiote taco & that's definitely what I'd order if I were to go back. I had a sparkling water but they also have a variety of lemonades & Mexican sodas. Overall a great place but if you have a flour tortilla preference, keep in mind you'll be limited to quesadillas/burritos/etc.

Yelp
Order at the kiosk and then your meal will be delivered to you. Was in Miami for 25 hours and Talkin' Tacos was a block away from the hotel with good reviews so we gave it a try. Food was fair, mostly lacking in flavor and spices. My buddy ordered al pastor Tacos but didn't realize that it wasn't pork but beef. I had a chicken burrito. It wasn't bad but seriously lacked flavor. It was just bland.we also had Guacamole and chips. Again the Guacamole lacked flavor and spices. Prices were sort of high in my opinion, but I don't know what Miami charges for dinners at fast casual type restaurants. We sat on the patio and people watched. That was fantastic and entertaining. Friday night on the streets of Miami felt a little bit like watching Miami vice. I won't be back the next time I am in Miami. It might be my living in Southern California alalmost all my life, but I get much better Tacos at a significantly lower price often at home.

Yelp
Good place for a late night snack. Automated order screen can speed up the line as long as the customers are "coherent". Be aware the rest room wasn't available past 2am.

Meg C.

Yelp
Easy kiosk ordering, fast service, and tasty tacos in a centrally located casual spot with fun blacklight walls. I tried the birria, caribbean, and mahi mahi tacos with a side of guacamole and an horchata to wash it down. I enjoyed all of them but I think the Mahi Mahi was my fav, they did a nice job frying the fish in a way that didn't overpower the taco with a heavy batter and melded well with the toppings. All of the tacos had a lot of flavor and the guac was freshly made (and there was a lot of it). Two comments: Things rack up quickly, this was a $35 meal. And I chose fattier tacos so I felt a bit heavy and needed a nap later. Would return to try more tasty tacos when I'm back in Miami.

Katie G.

Yelp
Carne asada tacos were fantastic, the street corn was a bit too cheesy flavor for me. I doordashed so I cant speak to the service or ambience.

Yelp
We were in Miami prior to a cruise and decided to try this place. We had to pay for parking in the garage nearby and then walked over to the restaurant. It's on a busy corner. When we arrived, there were not many there. We were instructed to order on the machine and then find a seat. We sat and then waited on our food. It didn't take too long before our food started to arrive when done. We had ramen, nachos, taco salad, and burrito. Everyone enjoyed their food. We also got the queso with hot cheetos (i think that's what it was). By the time we left, it was full of folks eating inside & out. Inside is kinda dark, but unique decor. Good eats.

Diamond A.

Yelp
I ordered the chicken tacos and birria tacos and it was very good I liked how you could just order your food at a kiosk and then sit and wait for them to bring it to you. The tacos were tasty and the service from the staff was extremely friendly, the staff stood near the kiosk while we ordered to help us manage through our orders if we didn't understand how to put a order in or if we needed guidance on the menu. The space has plenty of seating inside and outside so you have plenty of options and the ambiance is super open and colorful and fun looking definitely a vibe for groups or to come by yourself.

Izabella B.

Yelp
This place is 10/10!!! Ordered 4 tacos, all different flavors, each and every amazing and we got a mahi mahi burrito as well. I am in love with this spot, highly recommend! Delivery was fast, food was delicious... what are you waiting, go order some or try them at their location!

Ashley W.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while bar hoping. It was the perfect little taco spot to grab some food quick! You get to self order at the kiosk when you walk inside. Which is nice when you are with a group and everyone pays separately. There was indoor and outdoor seating available. The decor inside was so cute. The tacos, and their fries were amazing. Hopefully next time I'm in Miami I can't stop by again.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Tacos were ok but decent for a late night bite. You order at the kiosk and they bring it out to you. They had a good variety of tacos and burritos and bowls and the portions were good for the price as well. Just not the best quality tacos overall.

Aurora G.

Yelp
Fantastic place to go have a bite after a night hours. Taking Covid into account - I really appreciate the late night hours. And I love that they have birria! Delicious. I'd come back.

Amanda H.

Yelp
Fiancé and I came here after doing some shopping at Brickell City Center. It's located on a busy corner with a few tables inside and outdoors on the patio. You order from a kiosk and the food is delivered to the table. My fiancé ordered the burrito with carne asada. The burrito was flavorful, the steak wasn't over cooked and hearty portion. It was plenty for him even after I had a few bites. I had the Mystic Lemonade and he had a Blur Lemonade. My Mystic Lemonade was superrr sweet, way too sweet for me. His Blue Lemonade was also sweet, but slightly less than my drink. Prices are moderate/pricey ($34 including tip) for 1 burrito and 2 drinks, BUT the prices are on par with the area. Brickell in general is a pricey area so it was expected. Decent food, variety of lemonades and outdoor seating. May be back if in the area.

Shandise S.

Yelp
Great spot for a late-night bite! Ordered at the kiosk, food came fast, and the staff was kind. The salsa was fire, and the warm queso birria hit the spot after a long flight. Perfect spice level on the hot salsa.

Yelp
I visited on August 9,2024. When you arrive you place your order in the kiosk, grab a number and take a seat wherever you like. The host does come around to make sure you are doing well. The food was delicious but I do wish I paid attention when I ordered to have the onions removed but I just picked them out.

Melanie L.

Yelp
Great tacos!! Delicious and filling, but much more pricey than any other taco place. The burritos and birria tacos were good. I also ordered chips with pico and that alone was around $9. All 3 items were about $50. The service took very long and it was 1 AM. The women's bathroom also had no paper towels or toilet paper, did NOT lock, and was kind of dirty. I wish water was included with the meals, water bottles are $2.50. If I'm in there area again I would come back, but just hope for better service

Yulaidi S.

Yelp
I've been to the wynwood one and the only issue was parking so went to this one since I was nearby. It was a mistake. The location is good. There's plenty of parking available either in the street or garages. Lots of shopping and other things to do. Ordering is similar to the wynwood location. You use a kiosk and specify what you want etc then sit and wait. This is when the issues came. I had two orders with some removals. One Cali burrito and the other I think was just a regular burrito. The Cali was without rice and the other was without takis and cheese. Both orders came in wrong as the Cali had rice and the other had cheese. I wouldn't think too much about it but when we complained about it, one of the workers was adamant (after we no longer had the orders, since we turned them in for replacement) that neither burrito had the things we asked to remove. I wish I took a picture of the wrong order cause 1) the cheese and rice in both burritos are very obvious and noticeable and 2) the color difference alone in the wrong order and replacements tells you that we basically got completely different orders. They also forgot to give us our drinks which we had to ask for but that's just a side note, don't really care about that. The food was great when the order was right but it was just weird how wrong the orders were and how we were told we were wrong that the orders were wrong. Just FYI they weren't rude when trying to convince us that we were wrong, it was just weird. I recommend the wynwood location in lieu. The parking is a bit more painful but the experience is much better.

Yelp
We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was absolutely amazing! The standout items were the Southwest Chicken Tacos and the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos--both were outstanding. I couldn't stop eating them! They were perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and just incredibly satisfying. Living in San Diego, I've had my fair share of tacos from all over, but these definitely make it into my top three. If I could, I'd come back to Miami just to eat at Talkin' Tacos again. A must-visit for any taco lover! Sorry, don't have any photos of tacos as I was busy eating them!

Amy G.

Yelp
Great food. Nice patio. There were a lot of patrons but the service was quick. Everyone in our party was pleased. We ate there twice during our stay in Miami!

Brandi K.

Yelp
This restaurant was around the corner from our hotel, the reviews looked amazing, and the menu sounded wonderful. There was one other table of people when we arrived. You walk inside, order from a kiosk, get a number, and then seat yourself and your food is delivered when ready. We ordered the birria pizza, birria quesadillas and the pumpkin spice horchata. The food arrived quickly. We both very much disliked the horchata - it tasted like lukewarm milk. The birria pizza was severely undercooked and uncut. My hubby had to take it back inside to ask for it to be cut, but it was unfortunately inedible. The quesadillas were pretty good. They had beans and plantain inside. The guacamole would have been the best part had the avocado actually been mashed. The whole thing was a massive letdown, unfortunately. It seems others have had much better experiences, so we must have been here on an off night.

Justin S.

Yelp
This place is on a busy corner in Brickell. The interior is dark and dimly lit. When you walk in the host tells you to use the self kiosk to order your food and sit where you like. I'm not sure why the host is even there. I ordered the guacamole dip and chips and the birria tacos. When the food arrived I tried the guacamole first and it was quite good and fresh. The birria tacos though were lacking the flavor I expect from birria tacos. I would consider them quite plain with a mild consomé. I tried all three hot sauces, the jalapeño was nice with a little vinegar flavor, the habanero and cayenne were decent but not great. Overall I'd say it was way overpriced for tacos that were just plain.

Dom H.

Yelp
This place is a 5 Star or at the least 4 Star food spot! Everything was bomb and the service was good. We has 6 different tacos and none of them dissapointed. Even my carne asada burrito was fire. The only knock I can imagine against this place is the price of the tacos. Tacos are like $5 each but they load them up!

Stephanie A.

Yelp
The place was stunning, with an amazing vibe, and the staff was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the ordering process using the machine. They were quite efficient, delivering our food promptly. I tried the birria ramen, that I saw on an Instagram post, and it was delightful! My friend had the quesadillas, which were also fantastic. I highly recommend this place; moreover, there's a club next door, so you can continue your evening there!"

Kristen A.

Yelp
The food was great! The service was quick and everyone was polite. The place is well-lit and loud/quiet depending on the crown and there are nice paintings on the wall.

Anthony K.

Yelp
I wasn't impressed. You order through a little kiosk. And then it's brought out. They have interesting menu suggested items, however, nothing really stood out. Food was great. Service was OK. If you wanted some type of sauce on your tacos, or whatever, you get two choices.

Dalya

Yelp
First meal in miami, ordered it b/c it's halal, tastes terrible to me, I couldn't even finish one bite, and it's overpriced too. There's some strange taste even though I ordered the birria tacos, grilled cheese birria sandwich and shrimp tacos and they have the same taste, this place is a big no unfortunately. However, the staff is great and I'm sure they have other better options.

Adina H.

Yelp
Came here around 4am after the club. It only took about 10 minutes to receive my order & they were very busy. I ordered the birria quesadilla with fries instead of chips. I've found that the consome usually is what makes the dish when I've tried quesabirria at other places & it's kind of nasty without it lol. This was good all by itself, but the consome did complement it well. I fell asleep & woke up eating it. It was a big portion & it tasted as good the next morning as it did the night before. I'm from North Carolina & I could only wish of having a spot like this here. I've thought about the quesadilla so many times lol it was that good!

Ricardo B.

Yelp
This particular location can be tricky as it has no parking but it is in a fantastic corner, right before Brickell City Centre. As you walk in, you will notice that the walls are black with lots of Mexican style graffiti and Instagram selfie moments. Then you will notice the two standalone kiosks where you place your order. Then you can select inside or outside seating and wait for your order to come out. Everything was pretty good. From the horchata to the street corn and the Queso Birria! The Birria Grill Cheese sandwich comes with a little tomato soup on the side. I will definitely be back to this location since my office is in downtown miami. However will try the Miramar location since that's closer to home.

Yelp
Talkin' Tacos is closely located to Brickell City Centre mall. It is a fast casual restaurant. When you walk in you will place your order and pay on an iPad. Loved the theming inside. Lots of black lights to make the neon decorations glow. I ordered the Birria burrito which came with chips. After adding a Mexican coke it came out to $20. The food was good, however I wish it came with queso or salsa. Overall a pretty good meal, but can add up quickly depending on what all you order.

Lea M.

Yelp
This Taxp Place has ok taco's but nothing to write home to momma about. If you are on a drunken night out and want food it's good for that. But you can't really eat in and eating out doors is a mosquito fast. You have to go to the bar next door to order beer or alcoholic beverages to eat with your meal so make sure there are 2 of you to get one person on the drinks and the other in the order.

Samantha M.

Yelp
Was in the area and stopped by for a quick bite after hearing this name go around for a while. We walked in and noticed the iPads. There was no human interaction throughout the entire ordering process and still the iPad prompted for a tip at the end. There's a bit of an epidemic of iPad ordering systems and tipping going around Miami. I tip the actual food runner than the iPad so it goes to directly benefit them. We placed an order for their birria tacos and waited about 15-20 mins for them to come out. We were very underwhelmed by the presentation and overall taste of the food. The tacos were bland and just felt like they were missing something. $15 for 3 tacos is very steep especially when they're mediocre at best. A line began to form as we ate and it flowed through almost the back of the restaurant. Nobody wants a line of people inches away from them while they eat. I think the layout is a poor use of the space and they can definitely figure out how to seat more people and have the restaurant flow more efficiently. There are many other great local taco shops and restaurants to spend your money at.

Dolores D.

Yelp
Not the best place for birria tacos. You need to order at a computer and they bring you food to you. They have a patio outside. Got 3 birria tacos and birria ramen. Also got nachos. They were okay.

Daisha H.

Yelp
Talkin' Taco's Saved Our Lives When We Had A Trolley Fiasco! We Were Able To Grab Some Food Right Before Our Cruise. The Place Is Small But Clean And Has The Cutest Neon Lights. The Service Was Pretty Quick, The Food Was Decent, Def Not World's Best Tacos But Still Pretty Good! The Highlight Of This Place Was The Strawberry Churros! They Were Hot, Fresh And DELICIOUS 10/10 To Those! But Over All, Talkin' Tacos Was Pretty Chill.

Terry P.

Yelp
You walk in the door and are cheerfully greeted by your server who directs you to the... Kiosk!!! ‍ I dislike kiosk ordering so much. So one star gone. The decor is cute. The neon lights and up lights make the day glow accents on the black tables pop out. The oceloti (ocelot) and itzcuintli (dog) Aztec symbols are a cute touch. The music is a mix of Mexican pop music. The food? I started with the Jalapeño Queso and chips. Very disappointing. The queso tasted like processed cheese nacho dip and the chips tasted like standard out of the bag corn chips. The Birria tacos were a step up. The corn tortilla was soft but fried to light crisp and had a bit of crunch when you bit into it. The meat was under seasoned for me. Fortunately they had some table suaces that helped out. The Caynenne sauce tasted like a slightly more vinegary version of Tonasco and the Jalapeño sauce added a bit of jalapeño taste. Neither sauce was overly spicy. The staff was attentive and friendly. It's a place I would eat again but it's not a priority.

Kimyahta H.

Yelp
Here on vacation just called to make sure they where open to 4am. Someone picked up then unhung up. Not good. Make sure as a business you're always responding no matter what. As a business owner this is expected. Specially when not even closed yet. You miss good customers who expect good treatment. Smh learn business.

Alba G.

Yelp
I went to eat here. Because at their wynwood location I had tacos. So I decided to give this one a shot. Ordering was simple. Order on an ipad and they'll bring you the food. I ordered a burrito this time around. It was decent. But I eventually started feeling sick later on in the day. Which had me bummed because I enjoyed the tacos a lot more at the wynwood location. Unfortunately, I won't come to brickell to eat at this one. But I will say service was nice also. But I wouldn't come to eat here for my sake.

Lisa H.

Yelp
OMG, some of the best birria tacos miami. I have had birria tacos from here about five time through doordash I'm from Southern California . This place tacos are just as good as tacos in San Diego . Very authentic. Portions are good. Keep up the delicious cooking.

Milady V.

Yelp
Food is great. But, you shouldn't close off the bathroom to paying customers after a certain time!

Anna M.

Yelp
I haven't tried the the burrito. Yeah but the tacos are pretty good. It's a nice place to go in Miami.

Sep B.

Yelp
The ambiance is low-key chill with upbeat music. I came here with my cousin for dinner. You order at a kiosk machine, find a seat, and the servers then bring your food. There was to server to greet us, but if was self explanatory. We ordered the birria ramen, street corn bowl, and chicken tacos. Everything was full of flavor. I loved the picked onions on the tacos- the acid was perfect with the creamy sauce and chicken. Also, the tortilla was delicious and tasted homemade. The ramen had chunks of meat that was moist and almost melt in your mouth, and the noodles were absorbing the broth so they too were full of flavor. The corn had too much mayonnaise in my opinion, but was tasty none the less. This place is worth a visit!

Fiona T.

Yelp
If we are rating the tacos, absolutely 10/10 - they were damn delicious! For some reason, any time I visit Miami, we never make it to Talkin Tacos! It's on the list, but time is never on our side lol. Last night I attended a party next door and decided to stop in around 10ish pm to finally give them a try before we partied. My bf and I ordered the exact same trio: Birria, the Caribbean taco & the Bang Bang Shrimp taco. First of all, WOW - all three tacos were some of the best we've had, and I don't give tacos the time of day in the US outside of Texas/Cali lol All three made my tastebuds sing, but that Caribbean taco was different!!!! I have NEVER had anything like it: steak? plantain???? cotija cheese?!??? Omg a winner. I'm Caribbean, so I eat plantain on pretty much everything, but tacos?! Meats were tender and seasoned beautifully on all three. None of my tacos needed hot sauce/additional condiments - which says a lot. Upon entering, there are two kiosks where you can place your own order for either dine-in/carry-out. They close late, so the vibe was very neon and bright colors everywhere. The only thing that held this review back from 5 stars was the actual cleanliness of inside. It was fairly empty when we ate with the exception of about 2 tables, but tables were not being consistently wiped down in between service. Our waiter came to wipe down the table when he saw me wiping down with napkins before we sat down. The tables could def use some upgrading. Besides that, stellar tacos. Perfect late night eats, overall! This area is pretty busy so expect street parking. Bring your appetite!

Sandy R.

Yelp
It was so good I came back for seconds the next day! They're open pretty late which I loved. I honestly felt like they never closed . I got the shrimp tacos both times and staff recommended we try the red sauce (I could be wrong on the name) that was bomb! Take out was quick and dine-in experience was as well but wasn't busy. Ambiance is very chill and decor was nice.

Mattie Z.

Yelp
The birria tacos were great but the service was enough to make me never go back. My friend's order was incorrect (which is no big deal at all), and when we told the server this, she said she would go back to the kitchen to get it figured out. My friend's correct item never came out so eventually we brought it up to the server, only for her to start yelling at me in the middle of the restaurant saying that I "told her we no longer wanted it" and tried to say she brought it to us and we turned it away. Not sure why I would turn an item my friend paid for away? Clearly a misunderstanding somehow, even though both my friend and I had no idea what she was referring to. However, that doesn't give anyone an excuse to start yelling at another person in the middle of a restaurant- especially being as I was extremely friendly and polite to her (rude people are my biggest pet peeve!).

Keysi J.

Yelp
Great local spot for delicious tacos! The birria tacos were soooo cheesy and delicious! The restaurant is a vibe it's decorated very fun and nice at night with the neon lights! It's self service on the kiosk but there is staff to help you! It's the perfect place to stop by after a night of partying in Brickell!

Liam M.

Yelp
Unbelievably shit service.Waited over an hour for takeout that was sitting in the kitchen despite several attempts to gain attention from wait staff. Will not visit agai .

Angelo R.

Yelp
One of my favorite Taco shops in Miami. I've been following them since they started a food truck years ago. Nice people, consistent food and affordable. My favorite is no other than the Birria Tacos. So meaty and their birria dip is a flavor explosion. I'm also obsessed with the shrimp tacos. I can't get enough of the crunch from the plump fried ship as I bite on the taco. So yummy. Lately, I've been getting the Quesa Birria which is basically a quesadilla made with the same meaty fillings as the birria tacos but oozing with melted cheese. OMG. It's pretty orgasmic and they aren't stingy with the meat. Also, the Street Corn is highly addictive. Prepared fresh and the toppings are bursting with flavor. If you have room, don't skip on the loaded Churros. I suggest the Cookies and Cream. So freaking good. Love this place. I've been probably have been 3 or 4 times. There are no servers taking orders but you simply go to the kiosk and order food. A few minutes later, a food runner brings your food to your table. Quick and easy and the everything is made to order. The only tough thing to deal with is finding parking unless you live in Brickell. For me its worth the trip from Aventura.
