9.81 Park Jeju

We got tickets online, downloaded the app and watched the safety video beforehand so entry was rather fuss free! We were told to place our bags in a locker before heading to the rides. However there was a rather long queue to take the luge, and the staff made us take the same one twice because there was just too many people on the other one. The ride itself was quite underwhelming too. I was expecting really scenic views but it was just alright. The self driving part by the car was also quite boring. Our package also included the bumper car, laser tag and swing which we enjoyed. Overall a fun experience and good place to bond and kill some time!

Busy to buy tickets on site. I’d highly recommend reading more about which ticket to get and buying in advance. I plan to do a whole vlog on it for explaining. There were other staff to help with questions but we still had to wait for only 1 person at the desk to help issue ticket. They really need to do something about that process. The gravity race is short and recommend doing it more than just 1x. Use of the arena wasn’t really explained.

Didn’t expect to have so much fun here. Spent about 3 hours in all. Gravity car was decent. Remember to wear gloves during winter as the winds were so strong and hail was falling as well. They can be quite painful. Nice touch is the built in go pro that records you during the lap down. Interactive games were also very fun. Soccer simulator was great fun with the kids. Laser tag was fun as well though a tad too short and unsure of what’s going on as instructions were in Korean. Was it a free for all deathmatch or team based so we just shot at everyone. 98.1 Park Jeju is a must-visit for thrill seekers and tech lovers alike! The highlight here is definitely the Gravity Racer—an adrenaline-pumping, non-powered racing experience with sleek design and performance that's been seriously optimized. What makes it even cooler is the use of in-vehicle GPS and ICT tech to track your lap time, speed, lateral acceleration, and even driving videos. All this data gets sent to you almost instantly through the 9.81 PARK app, which makes the whole experience super interactive and fun. There are also a variety of indoor activities, making it a great all-weather destination. Totally worth checking out while you're in Jeju! This season is cold and windy do wear clothing that's sufficient to keep you warm.

Very cool place overall. The place is well planed and well made, very suitable to spend a few hours here if you buy the full package. When you arrive, you can either buy the ticket at the counter, or on the multiple screens they have available. You can choose whether to just do the highlight stuffs, or do everything. Later you need to download an APP, register yourself, and all your data from the games you played, your scores, will be saved on the App. The main highlight is the gravity car. The car doesn't have acceleration or anything, just pure downhill. You don't race with other people, just by yourself in your own lane. But the free downhill feeling gives you a nice feeling. I would say the car is quite small even for normal sized person, so just saying. There is a GoPro on the car, after your race, the video will be uploaded to the APP for you to watch. After you reach the finish line, the car goes into auto driving mode, and automatically drives back up hill to the starting line which was pretty cool. If you buy the most basic ticket, you can only play this twice, and you can't go on the most advanced race track. The second highlight that also comes with the basic ticket is the laser tag. It was fun but the laser tag room itself is quite small, and with 20+ people in there, it's a free for all really. If you're looking for a more tactical laser tag experience, this is not it. This is purely just for fun and games. The full price ticket will come with free access to arcade games, and VR games. If you have time to kill, then the full ticket would be worth it. Lastly though, when I was there, I was only get to play the Gravity car once because the fog got pretty serious. I don't have time to wait for the fog to clear so I went back to the counter and got a partial refund, which the person was very happy to give. I think it was a great gesture as someplace wouldn't even allow any refunds.

Kitty and I were excited to visit 9.81 Park, Korea's first non-motorized racing theme park. We decided to take a taxi from our hotel because the journey is a bit hilly and we didn't want to risk a challenging bike ride. The taxi ride was a bit twisty and bumpy, but it gave us a glimpse of the beautiful Jeju countryside. Once we arrived at the park, we were impressed by the advanced technology and the smooth app-based system for managing our activities. We opted for the race card package, which included three gravity racing courses, and it was a thrilling experience. The courses were well-designed, offering fun twists and turns. It was also great that the karts automatically returned to the starting point at the end of each race. We enjoyed the breathtaking views of the windmills and mountains as we raced down the hills. We didn't participate in any other activities, but the arcade games looked entertaining, especially the archery, football, and horse riding games. Overall, 9.81 Park is a unique and fun experience, though it might not be for everyone. The gravity racing is definitely worth trying at least once, but if you're looking for a more intense, adrenaline-pumping thrill ride, you might be disappointed. We found the park's location a bit remote, and the taxi ride was a bit expensive, but it was worth it to experience the beauty of the Jeju countryside.
