Th 99 Cents pizza store is a staple spot for a quick cheap bite when you are bar hopping Greenwich Village. This spot is not fancy. It's a small storefront with standing room only - it's not meant to hang out in. Yes, you will encounter some panhandlers, yes most of the people that go here are either cheap or broke (both). But if you are not looking to pay $6+ for a slice at one of the larger spots, who cares?? 99 Cents Pizza now has an extensive menu with the addition of desserts like brownies cookie, and and churros for $2.50 and under. Which I am betting caters to marijuana dispensaries nearby and the smokers looking for a late night cure for their munchies. It may be called 99 cents pizza, but the slices cost $1.50 cents now...and it still tastes like 99 cents pizza. So, temper your expectations, satiate your appetite, and save a buck.

I DON’T KNOW HOW! But to my surprise after waking up this morning I see that my bank account is down $100 after me having been home all morning! Someway .. somehow this place’s address is showing up on my transactions for an ATM withdrawal that I did not make nor have I ever even stepped foot in this establishment! I don’t know what they have going on but don’t even walk by the place because it’s giving some sort of ATM skimming scam!

Margharita was absolutely disgusting. The BBQ chicken was ok. Not a welcoming atmosphere either.

Google
Good pizza for the price, but not the best. I have tried Better. They offer pizza slices and pies.

Can't really complain about the taste for the price ($1.5/slice). Had Joe’s Pizza around the corner for $4/slice, which is just slightly better for more than 2x the price and they take cards, unlike Joe’s Pizza.

Best Margarita slice ever in NYC, worth the price.

This is right across the street from 99 cent fresh pizza and you can really taste the extra depth of flavour developed in the aging process. True matters of their craft! Beano!

Google
I had a disappointing experience at 99 Cent Village Pizza. The most glaring issue is that the cost of a slice of cheese pizza is now $1.50, which is quite misleading given their name. While I understand that prices can change, they should update their name to reflect this as the pizza is not 99 cents anymore. What's just as frustrating is that when I arrived, they were out of cheese pizza slices. It's baffling that a pizza shop can run out of such a basic option. It feels like they're trying to upsell customers to pizzas with toppings, which costs $3. This left me with a sense of disappointment and a desire for better service and pricing transparency.

Yelp
I came in here yesterday after hanging out at a local bar. They had plainslices, pepperoni slices and maybe one other choice already in the heating display. I just ordered 1 plain slice, which is enough to hold me up until I got home Not too much sauce or cheese and decent crust.

Yelp
Any 2 slices & a drink: stellar steal at $7.25. Quick service at this slammin' spot slangin' slices every seven seconds. Two tops outside to stop & scarf your score while scooters slide by on the street side scene. Stop by soon!

Yelp
Was feeling hungry mid afternoon but didn't want to spend a lot of money. 2 cheese slices and a water for $2.99. Solid slices - thin crust, good flavor. They had hot sauce, parm, pepper flakes. Other specialty slices are about $3.50-$4 each. Small spot, only standing room.

Yelp
This place was out of the $1.50 per slice pizza at 6pm on a Saturday, which is either an intentional fumble or an error in demand forecasting. Anyway, I purchased three regularly priced slices from the nice assortment that they had. The mozzarella slices were totally fine. The chicken/jalapeño slice had poor quality chicken shavings and some gelatinous sauce on it. I couldn't finish it.

Yelp
Great on the go food if you're hungry after a late wee hour night of TOO MUCH booze. .99 cents pizzerias seem to be open for his problem.

Yelp
Good option for dollar slices in Greenwich Village. My friends and I ordered an entire pizza ($8) which was baked fresh and served hot out of the oven. Walked it down to Washington Square Park and ate it greedily. Thin crust, light sauce, just enough cheese to get the job done. For something so simple, it was surprisingly tasty.

Yelp
Great pizza slices and even better staff. The cashier was very nice and very helpful. If you ever get a chance please visit.

Yelp
DONT EAT FROM THIS PLACE. Terrible customer service, I was given raw pepper on top of cooked pizza, I then simply asked the worker to put the pizza in the oven he proceeded to catch an attitude and just throw my pizzy in the oven. I tried to talk to the manager but he just simply brushed me off. DONT EAT FROM THIS PLACE

Yelp
Pizza tastes like NOTHING. $3 for cheese and a can of soda is a good deal for food and drink. BUT it's not tasty. It isn't gross it is just so incredibly bland. Basically just bread-like.

Yelp
honestly my favorite dollar spot in the city.. out of all the 99¢ spots, this is the one! I wish I could post pictures but I always eat them too quickly. As for the pizza quality, it's not too saucy nor too cheesy and there's something about that crust holding it together that leaves me wanting for more. They have other more fancy pizzas, pepperoni rolls, garlic knots etc. They take cards and cards, have all the important pizza condiments, & a nice selection of beverages to wash it all down with. Come for the pizza, stay for the good times.

Yelp
Very good pizza, especially for one dollar. The people are always nice and the store even has a couple stools to sit down.
