If you’re on the hunt for incredible coffee, 9BAR should be at the top of your list. Coffee here is unbeatable. The best I’ve tasted in Budapest. And to top it off, the pastries are also fantastic. Highly recommend.

I visited this bar in 2028 and was immediately impressed by its atmosphere. It is the perfect place for those who appreciate a “small but refined” setting. The space is thoughtfully decorated with numerous pictures that will especially resonate with people who grew up in the 1980s and 1990s, as well as anime fans, creating a nostalgic yet stylish ambiance. The breakfast was excellent and carefully prepared, and the service stood out as highly professional, empathetic, and genuinely customer-oriented. The bar is conveniently located in the city center and is easy to reach by public transportation. For those arriving by car, parking is available on site. While the number of parking spaces is limited, they do exist, including designated spots for electric vehicles with charging facilities. Overall, the price–performance ratio was very good. Taken as a whole, it was a wonderful experience, and I can confidently recommend this bar.

It was an adorable cafe in the centre of Budapest and I absolutely loved the coffee that they served. It was dog friendly and the interior of the cafe was amazing! The whole experience of having a coffee here was incredible. Really nice staff too :)

Nice cafe with a good selection of pastries. We got breakfast here and enjoyed a danish pastry with cream and fruit, a yogurt bowl, and a slice of the quiche. The pastry and yogurt were very nice, the quiche was ok- kind of a small piece for the price. Cappuccinos were adorable with really nice foam designs and the cafe itself was very cute in the inside. Service was very friendly and food and drinks came out quickly.

We visited this place several times during our stay in Budapest and were consistently impressed. We tried a variety of coffees with both whole milk and almond milk, and they all were excellent across the board. The espresso was not too acidic, nicely fruity, with a rich crema and great consistency. We also sampled some of their pastries and quiches that were also very good. The service was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and welcoming each time we visited. This was hands down the best coffee we had in Budapest—and that’s saying something, considering how many great coffee spots the city has to offer. Highly recommended.

The best cafe in this area with fantastic taste and perfect environment. The service and the attitude of the staff is polite and very welcoming. Such a great to have a coffee or breakfast. A must try place if you're in Budapest.
