9Hotel Bastille-Lyon

Not worth the price at all, location is good if you need the big train station. Room is extreme small, no place for bags, can’t hang your towel. Shower is INSIDE the room so you, shower in front of your partner, and all moist is trapped in the room. Toilet have no air suction. No power plug at the bed WiFi: 1/5 Not a place I will stay again

This hotel is about five minute's walk from Gare de Lyon station. It was clean and comfortable, although the room layout was a bit quirky but it didn't matter. An ideal overnight stay when changing trains in Paris. We would stay there again.

The room is small, what do you expect? The place is pretty clean. As you can guess the location is good. The elevator is very small. Two people with luggage can't fit in it. and the bathrooms are small by Paris standard. Is this a deal breaker? No.||Management made two bad decisions. First, the mattress is like a big fluffy futon, and very uncomfortable. Second, there is only one outlet location in the room and it is no where near the bed. So, if you have a CPAP, you are not getting much sleep.

Nice clean hotel and yummy brealfast:) Rather small bathroom (not enough room for the toilet paper holder!) but nice and clean. The lift was tiny, barely enough room for two medium sized people, and very temperamental as sometimes stopped for no reason so we walked 5 flights instead.

I’m about a year late with this review but I had to come back and speak about my experience with 9Hotel Bastille Lyon. Upon my arrival to check in, I left my phone in our taxi from the airport and spent nearly every night of my stay coordinating with the hotel staff on how to retrieve it. I’m sure they couldn’t believe the dumb American who couldn’t keep track of her phone after being in Paris all of thirty minutes but they never showed it. On top of our amazing stay with a great room and amazing location the staff helped me translate and gave me guidance on coordinating with local police and after four days WE GOT MY PHONE BACK. I was absolutely blown away by their kindness and support and it’s my favorite story to tell when I recommend 9Hotel to anyone coming to Paris.

I would definitely stay here again. Very comfortable bed, I had the best sleep in a long time. Nice balcony, clean/modern room with coffee pot/supply, hair dryer, and shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Nice lobby/eating area. I arrived earlier than expected and this was a nice area to relax after a long flight with self serve bar (reasonable price). Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the perfect location, supermarket, boulangerie (recommend Les delices de Gare de Lyon), and the Gare de Lyon are all 5 mins or less walking distance. Only call out is, the bathroom/shower is quite small and you have to step up into a small shower stall. It was not a problem for me but can see this may be an issue for anyone with mobility issues or for someone on the larger side.

The interior of the hotelnroom did not do it for me. Ceiling was made with pannels and the view outside below par. Also shower was not working properly. Postives were free coffee and the location is close to gare de lyon. In general the area is not very ineresting. Breakfast was very average.

I stayed at this cute hotel already for the second time and would definitely recommend it. No fuzz, but attention to details, minimalistic and great design, well thought-through. Perfect!
