My wife and I had an unremarkable three-night stay at 9 Hotel Central. Its downtown location is both an asset and a drawback—the train station is merely two blocks away, but we could hear traffic noise in our room.||Our executive room felt spacious, but the furniture had notable wear. We didn’t use the balcony (with seating), but we enjoyed the large bathroom sink because we could get ready simultaneously. The lobby has a small seating area with beverages for purchase. We tried eating a snack there, but were told to move to the nondescript cafeteria (which serves breakfast for an additional fee).||I’d recommend 9 Hotel Central only to those travelers who don’t intend to spend much time in their room. Its primary virtue is the proximity to the train station, but the hotel lacks other charms.
