My wife and I picked this hotel because it says specifically that the rooms have a “shower/bath” However they only have a shower. No bath at all. When we went to explain our confusion and clear things up the receptionist was less than helpful and kept saying “we don’t have any baths, none of the rooms do.” When we pointed out that their websites claim they do he just repeated himself like we were idiots. No apology or slight attempt to make up for the misleading information, he just wanted to get rid of us. Understandable that they can’t make a bath tub appear out of thin air. But the way they didn’t even attempt to make up for their false advertisement and dismissal of us was rubbish. Furthermore, we had booked for three nights, even though on the last night we wouldn’t be there because we had a late night flight. Our booking included buffet breakfast charging 20 euros for each of us for each morning. Obviously we would not be able to make use of the buffet breakfast the morning following our flight out of the city so we asked to get the money for that specific morning refunded. A flat refusal was given with a rubbish excuse of “that was already booked when you reserved the room.” Whether we are there are not changes nothing for them, but they thought it best to charge us 40 euros total for a service we couldn’t use. With that said, the location was excellent. Just the service had much to be desired.

We recently stayed at 9Hotel Cesàri and overall, it was a bit underwhelming. The hotel was clean, which we appreciated, and the location was excellent – right in the heart of everything, which made getting around easy. We had three rooms booked, all varying in size. Ours was on Level 1 facing the main strip and unfortunately, it was extremely loud – it honestly felt like we were sleeping outside. It was hard to get any proper rest. The other two rooms were quieter, so noise definitely depends on where you’re placed in the hotel. The room sizes were okay but not spacious, and the bathroom in our room had a tiny shower – more like what you’d find on a cruise ship. For the price we paid, we expected more comfort and better amenities. In our opinion, this is more of a 3-star hotel than a 4-star. The location is the main selling point, but everything else fell short of expectation

We have spent 4 nights in Cesari at the end of May and we glad we chose this hotel for our first stay in Rome. As others said it's in the middle of everything, you can walk to all sights within a couple of minutes. The hotel is in the corner of the main walking street and a road so taxis can easily reach it and you don't have to walk with all your luggages on the cubble stones. The room (and actually the hotel) is new and modern and we had no issue with the size of the Superior room either, it was quite spacious, with basic amentieies (hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, bathrobe, slippers) and they also accomodated to our twin bed request which we were grateful for. The isolation was also good (we had a corner room with 3 windows overlooking at the street) so unless you need total silence you will be fine. In terms of service the breakfast was adequate, service was great. In the evening we went up to the rooftop bar twice, it was nice with live music during the weekend and some basic dishes (pizza, tacos) to eat. There are many many restaurants next to the hotel so lunch or dinner is not a problem if you need "proper food".||As others said the elevator is a tad slow but there is also a service elevator which can be used. Overall we would choose 9Hotel Cesari again for our next stay in room.

The hotel is in a great location. We walked to the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and Colosseum. Nothing seemed too far away. The Room was clean and sufficiently appointed with robes, slippers, a luggage rack and even a towel warmer. The room is very small but I think that may be typical for Rome in comparison to what I’m used to in the US. We had no view to speak of but we didn’t expect one. Good water pressure. The rooftop bar was a very nice vibe. We visited both nights of our stay. One concern with the location was the street noise. We were on the 4th floor and it was still very loud in the middle of the night and early in the morning. Sounds like dumping glass bottles. I’d suggest ear plugs.

We stopped here for a drink at the hotel's rooftop bar whilst visiting the area as it is close to both the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. A lovely experience with good service, made all the better with the wonderful view. Overall, we would definitely return. :-)

I’ve stayed here twice (2021 and 2025). Each time was excellent. The rooms are stylish and clean. Beautiful rooftop bar/restaurant. Breakfast is so good! Will definitely stay here again!

A hotel in a great location, first of all. Close to everything and right in the center. It was convenient to walk around the center of Rome and stop at the hotel in the middle of the day and then continue the evening. ||A little noisy in the rooms because of the location but bearable overall, the windows pretty much isolate the noise. ||There is an elevator in the hotel which is definitely important and adds. ||The bar looked lovely but we didn't get to go up to it. ||The bed in the room and the pillows weren't the most comfortable for us but when we asked for more pillows they brought us so from the staff's perspective they were great. ||Overall we would recommend the hotel.

We booked the rooftop bar this well in advance for an evening drink or two on our wedding anniversary. The bar was a cool place in a great location. We waited 40 minutes for three drinks despite a couple of reminders. Staff didn’t particularly care and simply happy to take our money when challenged.|Extremely disappointed
