9th Avenue Waterside

What an gorgeous place to be this place has class, being greeted by the door man well dressed and looks professional and the waiters friendly and on point, the fact that the head chef is willing to adjust some dishes to accommodate children that can't eat hot chili I take my hat off for them really the service of this place is great, the fact that they really care about there clients that hits deep! It's such an honor to eat at a place that is so professional.

I've made an annual trip here for 4 consecutive years. Unfortunately this time didn't live up to the standard of previous years. Staff were a little scattered and not as attentive as I'm used to. We had to inform them of an allergy twice and still received said item (lemon) on the platter of oysters after requesting it to be served separately. When requesting drinks recommendations, we were told a cocktail with no citrus on the menu would have citrus and its just not on the ingredients list (when it really should be). One of our meals, the fillet steak, was a under seasoned and the sides were also lacking in flavour. Other than the above, food and service had no issues. Just concerned as I never experienced that many issue before.

Can't fault the place we had a great time. We went on a Thursday so it was busy. The food was great ,we got the seafood platter and it was more food than we thought. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. It is on the more pricer / fancy side but worth it . The views are also 👌🏻

Had a great lunch! Ladies really enjoyed their steak and market fish plates. Truffle fries were amazing. The view is great too, for the most part. The garbage in the water just outside the restaurant really should be cleaned up; I feel like it takes away from the atmosphere.

If you're looking for a date night venue, look no further. The 9th avenue was a dream, the food was incredible and the atmostphere was really superb. I definitely recommend. The prices are a bit steep but its worth it to be honest.

We recently celebrated my sister’s wedding at 9th Avenue Waterside and it was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, the experience exceeded every expectation. The staff’s professionalism and attention to detail ensured everything ran seamlessly, making the day stress-free and memorable. The food was the highlight of the evening. 9th Avenue Waterside delivered an unforgettable dining and event experience, and I cannot recommend them enough for anyone seeking world-class cuisine and a stunning setting.

Beautiful environment, lovely atmosphere, great for date night. Bit on the pricey side. The lamb was absolutely lovely and tender, I wasn't too fond of the vegetables that came with it, guess it was an unfamiliar taste. The bread started was absolutely delicious, bread was straight from the oven so it was fresh. My non-alcoholic cocktail was so refreshing, absolute 10/10! The desert was the star of the show, that cheese cake was divine! I do wish it was bigger though, especially for that price point. Overall, a pleasant evening and I'd definitely do it again.

I had an amazing dining experience at 9th Avenue. For starters, we had broccoli and potato soup, which was rich and comforting. The mains were a feast—steak, ribs, biryani rice, and prawns—all cooked to perfection with great flavors. To drink, we had orange juice, which was refreshing. The atmosphere was just as impressive as the food. The live piano music added a touch of elegance, and the location by the boats created a beautiful and relaxing setting. The combination of great food, music, and ambiance made this a memorable experience. Overall, I’d rate 9th Avenue a 9.5/10—definitely a place worth visiting!
