"A’DAM Lookout One of the hippest neighborhoods in the city is Amsterdam-Noord, situated directly across the IJ River from the main train station. Here, an iconic 1970s office high-rise has been recently revamped and rebranded as A’DAM, an acronym for Amsterdam Dance and Music. Along with music-themed businesses, restaurants, and an underground nightclub, the tower boasts the rooftop Lookout, an open-air observation deck 20 stories up that offers panoramic views of the historic city center, the bustling port to the west, and the Dutch landscape beyond. Daredevils line up for Over the Edge, a huge metal contraption that lets you literally swing out over the edge of the building. Entrance to the Lookout is €12.50 (about $15) and a ride on the swing is €5 (about $6)."

Nice little jaunt from Amsterdam, walk to centraal station, walk under the tunnel, it takes you to the Ferry. But be careful as of the 3, 1 goes down the water and not just across the way like the other 2. Free Ferry across the way, turn right and then you're there. Great fast lift up, top floor is open and had a bar, but was too windy that day, so one floor down, there's a windowed floor that has a bar, where we sat and enjoyed a drink. Very enjoyable place that's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Damraak.

Great views of Amsterdam below! Was lucky to go there during SAIL so it was amazing to see all the boats go past. Roughly 20m to enter and leave as there is only 1 lift down! The swing lasts 2-5 minutes but you can’t bring phones on it and record while swinging. The snacks and the drinks on the top are quite expensive but the food the floor below is amazing. I recommend you visit when there aren’t any events on, so you won’t have to wait as long as I did!

I love getting a view from you high when visiting a new city. This place provides a fantastic 360 view. The inside has tables to eat and drink at and then there is a view just above that from the outside. There's a little drink and snack stand outside with some seating. There's also swings that go out over the edge of the building. I skipped those, but if you're looking for a thrill go for it. There's also music constantly playing. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Our experience was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The VR some of the sets were glitchy but still great. The swing was an experience I won’t forget. Went on a rainy day and still was brilliant other than the VR sets faulty I give 5 stars 🌟.

A’DAM Lookout — A Must Visit! If you love a mix of thrill and stunning views of Amsterdam, this place is for you! The swing experience is definitely one you shouldn’t miss . It is both nerve-wracking and unforgettable. The souvenir shop downstairs also has a great selection of items, and the cashier was so friendly and cheerful. Highly recommended!

We pre booked for 11am on a Saturday morning, there was no wait, we went straight to the swing, then to the lookout platform. The views are amazing, the staff were friendly and the food and drink are excellent! Would definitely recommend if youre visiting Amsterdam! Would probably suggest that sort of time, as it did get busy the later it got.

Absolutely beautiful views, especially at night. A great place to have a drink, get a bite to eat or just sit and enjoy the view. My fiancé proposed there while on our holiday to Amsterdam so this place will always hold a special place in our hearts!🥰

A’DAM Lookout offers an amazing view of Amsterdam — definitely worth a visit! The view is especially beautiful in the evening when the city lights come on. Just keep in mind that there’s an entrance fee of around €18–€19 per person, and if you want to go on the famous swing at the top, that’s an extra €7.50.
