"A’DAM Lookout One of the hippest neighborhoods in the city is Amsterdam-Noord, situated directly across the IJ River from the main train station. Here, an iconic 1970s office high-rise has been recently revamped and rebranded as A’DAM, an acronym for Amsterdam Dance and Music. Along with music-themed businesses, restaurants, and an underground nightclub, the tower boasts the rooftop Lookout, an open-air observation deck 20 stories up that offers panoramic views of the historic city center, the bustling port to the west, and the Dutch landscape beyond. Daredevils line up for Over the Edge, a huge metal contraption that lets you literally swing out over the edge of the building. Entrance to the Lookout is €12.50 (about $15) and a ride on the swing is €5 (about $6)."

Great views, but today was hazy because of the sun. Perhaps later in the day may have been better. I liked the music that was playing as we had a drink. Shame we did not know about the audio guide you can download until we were leaving. The staff should advise you really. But its recommended

Amazing place with breathtaking view of Amsterdam, friendly staff. The swing is amazing experience the VR experience is very basic. Make sure to book your ticket in advance to skip the lines.

As sonebody who is scared if heights I thoroughly enjoyed the Amsterdam Lookout and swing. To access it does require climbing a few flights of very steep stairs so is not suitable for people with limited mobility. The staff members were lovely and the bar area was reasonably priced for the location (~€8.80 for a large glass of Rosé (photo attached for reference)).

Fun Experience! The views from A’DAM Tower were absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect panoramic look over Amsterdam. It wasn’t crowded when we visited, which made the experience even better. We also tried the swing — such a fun and thrilling experience! Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Amsterdam.

Worth a visit. The views are absolutely beautiful. Hot chocolate was delicious too. Plus, despite not liking heights, I'd really recommend the swing.

Every city has one of these high towers to have a nice view of the skyline. This is no exception. Pick the right time of the day and the right weather and you will love it. If you are a thrill speaker, go for the swing. If you have a go city pass, the viewing deck is free, u pay extra for the swing.

Friendly, helpful staff, fantastic views across Amsterdam. No brave (or crazy) enough to try the swing at the edge of the roof. The free ferry gets you from Amsterdam Central Station across to the lookout. The only disappointment was the gift shop, I didn't see anything worth buying.

Nice little jaunt from Amsterdam, walk to centraal station, walk under the tunnel, it takes you to the Ferry. But be careful as of the 3, 1 goes down the water and not just across the way like the other 2. Free Ferry across the way, turn right and then you're there. Great fast lift up, top floor is open and had a bar, but was too windy that day, so one floor down, there's a windowed floor that has a bar, where we sat and enjoyed a drink. Very enjoyable place that's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Damraak.
