Great cheeseburger! A simple, classic cheeseburger with just the right amount of seasoning — flavorful but not overpowering. The fries weren’t my favorite, as they tasted like standard crinkle-cut fries you’d find in a supermarket freezer section, but the burger itself was very good and worth coming back for.

Great food and a very laid back atmosphere. When friends and I discuss where to go for lunch we normally pick A-Bears. Why tempt fate when A-bears is always great.

Eat here often. Hamburger steaks are awesome just as the other food they serve!. Owner is very friendly and so is most of his workers. Love love the food at A Bears!!!

Food is delicious but the woman working at the window to take your order seriously needs customer service training … she has to be the most rude and disrespectful person you’ll ever meet!

A chili dog at minimum is: A hot dog, with hot dog bun of course, & a layer of chili on top. “Do you want the “weenie” on your chili dog?” When did ordering a chili dog become a hassle? Alright, so after all that: the chili dog was not good. The chili tasted burnt. I worked in the industry for 20 years & have been having hot dogs since I was 3 or 4, like most people, and this is the worst chili dog I have ever tasted.

I placed an order for a bacon cheeseburger. I told her I had ordered a while back and the bacon was left off. I had called and they said they would write it down for another time. The lady said "oh, I dont know nothing about that". So I asked if there was a list she could look at and she said no. 2. I proceeded with the order-burger and tots. I asked for the total. She said she couldn't give me the total because her other line was ringing and someone was at the counter. Well if you don't give me the total, how do you expect me to pay. I was sending my son so I needed the exact. Lastly I asked how long. She said about 15 minutes or so. The whole interaction was unprofessional and tacky at its finest. So guess what, I left their burger right there with them. If you don't value me enough to make something as small as bacon right and be able to give me a total, you don't deserve my business and I won't be back. Teach yall workers how to interact with customers cause this wasn't it. June 19, 2025 approximately 6pm

Went to A bears for lunch date with the hubby, I ordered the crab burger with fries and he got the hamburger steak full order and everything was delicious. Our waiter which I think was the owner was very polite and helpful. A conversation with the couple next to us and they was telling us about their regular everyday lunch specials in what you can expect. I would recommend this place for a lunch date with family or even for businesses. You will fall in love with the paintings on the walls especially the Big Bear over the booths.

The burgers are awesome. The chicken sandwich is just as awesome. I haven't found anything here yet that I could complain about. Everything was delicious. Great fried chicken also.

Enjoyed our lunch. Very friendly wait staff...wife had the lunch, I had the Hamburger with tater tots....will be back..

Great burgers, po-boys, fries, etc. We have only eaten in once and while not fancy, it was clean. The night we went they were very busy, but no complaints on service. Typically, we pick up to eat at home or to grab lunch at work. The po-boys are very filling and a half with some fries with fill most people up for lunch. The club po-boy is especially good. The cold cuts on that crispy bread is a great combo.

Great burgers ok fries. service is terrible make sure they recite your order to you because they will get it wrong its happen two times in a row no matter how clearly i spoke.

Best hamburger in iberia parish. Fried okra is also very good . Lunch special sells out fast so go early

Food is good but the service is terrible! We waited for 10 minutes in drive thru waiting for the car in front of us only to find out they were just chatting. We drive around and went to the window and they looked at me like I did something wrong. When I said who I was and picking up they just roughly placed the bag in front of me told me how much and then sent me on my way with no thank you or anything. We love their food but we're not going back anymore. Businesses should monitor who they hire today. I know it's hard coming from an HR background but I'll never hire people like this. I know the owners but even though the food is good, service is also a plus. I've also tried to order food there before and the phone was off the hook because they didn't want to take any more orders. I've had a business before and anyone would know that I would never treat a customer like this. Sorry but my score is 1 out of 5 today. It's my opinion only so don't judge me, try it yourself.

Watch your receipts and bank statements. Was over charged and charged twice. Manager acts as owner's wife and said nothing said if a discrepancy to pay cash next. Won't be next time. Beware

Delicious burgers and amazing onion rings if you want to good burger and some goodbye onion rings this is a great choice

Haven't been here in a while but I'm glad I stopped by. Shrimp poboy was fresh and delicious. The hamburgers are still great probably the best in town. And everything is really affordable the don't try and rip your eyes out

A-Bear's serves an excellent old-fashioned hamburger. In fact the place looks like a 50's mom-and-pop, and the service and care that goes into the meals here are worth the trip. The pricing is excellent also, you can get less for more nearly anywhere else in town. You can tell the owner is really interested in providing a good, delicious product for his customers. They're a little out of the way, but worth the few extra miles (from the center of town). The parking is pretty good also, though there is a little double-parking going on in the parking lot and you have to take care not to get blocked in. I recommend them for the best burger in town.

Great poboys and burgers. Worth the drive across town to pick up lunch or dinner. You definately wont be left hungry or wishing you went somewhere else.

Great place to get some really great food. The hamburger was really good and the onion rings made fresh. Fried corn sells out early.
