This spot serves the best beef soup in the area, hands down. A Tainan specialty, it’s an absolute must-try if you’re visiting. You’ll queue up to order and pay before grabbing a seat, and while the prices are a bit high for a street-side restaurant, the generous portions and incredible flavor make it worth every dollar. The food comes out quickly, the service is solid, and their popularity speaks for itself—they’ve even opened a second location within walking distance if the line for this location gets too long. I highly recommend the premium cut beef soup, beef fried rice, and beef tongue side. Just thinking about it has me drooling. This is a must-visit!

This fresh beef soup stall is an absolute gem! The soup itself is fantastic, with a slightly herbal taste that adds depth without overpowering the natural beef flavor. It’s comforting and satisfying, perfect for any time of the day. The stir-fry dishes, however, completely stole the show—they’re hands down some of the best I’ve had in Tainan! Each dish was expertly cooked, full of flavor, and left me wanting more. What’s even better is the superb service and the clean, air-conditioned environment, which makes dining here comfortable even on hot days. I’ll definitely return!

Definitely try their beef soup if you're in Tainan. It's been three months since my trip to Taiwan, but I still remember this place ❤️ It's a casual eatery, not a restaurant. There are all sorts of sauces and additions that you can add to the soup yourself – they're in the corner of the room. There might be a queue, but it moves quickly and it's worth it.

Great taiwanese beef noodle stew experience in Tainan. Noodles were fresh, springy, and complimented the stew and beef nicely. Recommended to try the clear soup too, as that pairs nicely with a bowl of rice for a lighter meal. Would recommend

Randomly found this beef soup restaurant. The staff was really warm welcoming. Have English menu. Really tasty beef soup but cost a bit touristy price.

Tainan must-eat food is beef soupe. The beef is freshly cut, and the meat is fresh from the morning. This place is the best place to eat beef soupe in this area of Tainan. I was lucky to arrive late at night in the middle of the week and got a table. Apparently, during lunch a d weekend, there's a long queue. Also, they have a 2nd location walking distance. Their beef soupe, beef garlic & vegetable and beef onion is amazing. I highly recommend it. To order, you can point the disches or show the pictures in google Maps. The service is solid, efficient, and fast. The staff are friendly and willing to help. Uf you are around, do not miss this place to eat...don't go there for decoration or atmosphere, go there for authentic local food. Also, don't forget to have cash with you!

Beef Soup. This is another beef soup stall that was highly recommended by the locals here. The queue was crazy when we arrived so we decided to take away which was much faster. I can't really tell the difference between A-Cai and A-Chang. A-Cai probably wins since its near the old town day market at Anping which is also recommended to visit.
