This was the best meal I had during my trip to Portugal! I was charmed by its lovely and cozy atmosphere. It truly captures the vibe of a local Portuguese eatery. I had tried octopus rice at many different places in Portugal, but personally, I found the octopus rice here to be the absolute best!

Everything was good. Food was tasty. I made a mistake ordering veal thinking it was lamb. It was not on par with the beef that would be served in American restaurants, and that is the reason for 4 stars. Other than veal, we had fish soup and octopus and both were great. Would recommend.

Friendly service, food was delicious. I had veal, rice and beans and a cabbage salad in the side. For dessert I had their almond cake slice served with scoop of ice cream and an espresso. With lunch I had a beer which was perfect for the heat. They take cash only and ask about their daily specials and soup. Nice location right next to a church off the main pathway but still great people watching .

We came in for the chanfana because that is the thing to try in this town. Their chanfana was delicious. The meat was very tender and fell off the bone. It came with potatoes and spinach. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. Definitely worth the stop.

Octopus rice tasted ok, it has a stronger rice taste than octopus, but plenty of tender octopus for the price! The sangria was really good. Cash only, no cards allowed.

Cozy restaurant in the historical centre of Coimbra with tables outside. Very tasty traditional portuguese food. Waiters are really nice, warm and accommodating. Super recommended!

Very nice small place that serves Portuguese cuisine. The pork cheeks are amazing! Highly recommended! Also we tried the old goat meat and that was also something worth to try.

It feels like having home meal here which makes it special. I had soup of the day which with spinach inside of it (tasty) and pork cheek. It was a really good dinner.
