My husband and I had a really good experience at A Dong Silk tailoring shop. My husband got a 2 piece suit and I got a beautiful dress. The fabrics and the final product were of very good quality. Chau helped us very well! The atmosphere feels a little bit formal, especially if you prefer a more personal and fun experience. But that is totally just a personal preference so it is not about the quality of the service. Conclusion A Dong Silk: my husband and I would totally recommend this tailoring shop. Especially of you want very good quality fabrics.

Compared to other tailors the quality was incredible. I never felt a shirt sit this well and this well made. In terms of pricing, this tailor will be roughly 1.5 X the price of other tailors in Hoi An. If you are from a western country like Germany or the US, where a custom tailored suit easily costs 1000-2000 USD, getting your suit done at A Dong is still a complete steal, especially considering that youll enjoy world class tailoring. It’s also not a place for bargaining which adds to the professionalism in my view. While quantity discounts are happily granted. You’ll receive a tie and a hankie with your suit as well as the option to reorder from home and have it sent to your country since they’ll keep your measurements for as long as you wish. A most wonderful and unique experience getting a tailored dress made - Dao was such a pleasure and really accommodating through the whole process. Dao made the dress within two days, it was amazing. One tip: bring your favorite jacket from home to use as an example. The team will replicate it to your specifications. 48-hour turn time for my rather order, which to me is amazing!
