A-Frame Club

We stayed here four nights and we are sad to leave! Starting at check-in it was quick and easy! I love that it is a keyless entry system. You get a pin number at check in for your door so no fumbling trying to find a key card! The cabins are very spacious. We are traveling with our teenager and our one year-old and I will say we have a cabin with a spiral staircase, which was I’m sure a lot easier than the other staircase that I’ve seen in photos so I would suggest that if you do have small ones that you’re going to have to carry up and down from the loft area Ask to get a cabin with a spiral staircase. It is steep, so just be aware of that not a negative just to be aware. The loft area is very spacious. We were able to have our two giant suitcases and a pack and play up there and still have plenty of room to move around. The soak tub was phenomenal! Another thing just to be aware of it is a cabin- just like any in all cabins or wood structures, there is popping and crackling that’ll happen throughout the day and throughout the night. But we stayed warm and cozy the entire time! There are several seating options however I will say there aren’t any real lounging options to sit back and kick your feet up type thing so just something to be aware of again not a negative. The couch is comfortable. I will say my teenager enjoyed sleeping on the couch in the couch position rather than pulling it out as a sleeper. The kitchenette was perfect for all the things that we needed to cook and clean for our little one. The bathroom is spacious. The shower is wonderful again something to keep in mind is that it is a mountain town and it is a cabin so the water pressure is on the lower side. Again, just another thing to be aware of because I’ve seen negative comments about these things, but it is a cabin, so all of that is to be expected and absolutely not bad things. This place was a total 10 out of 10! I also love that directly across the street is the bus to get to the resort or town! Made it so easy! Next time we come back to Winter Park, this is the place to be. And if we are just doing a day trip, the food and drinks at the A-frame grill were unbeatable! Absolutely delicious. I really could go on and on with how wonderful everything was! Thank you so much to the wonderful staff that we had the pleasure of interacting with throughout this trip. Our Christmas and our daughter’s first birthday happened over this trip and we would not have rather been anywhere else!

Went to dinner at the A Frame on December 21. I was a little hesitant going somewhere during the holiday week but was so over the top impressed by the service and the food! Friendly and well staffed, It exceeded my expectations with food and wine pairing. They really have done a great job making you feel welcome and relaxed in a beautiful setting.

One of the best stays we’ve had! This place is full of awesome amenities and the A-frames are the perfect Colorado escape! So many details and they are all executed so thoughtfully. We can’t wait to stay here again! Don’t miss the restaurant/bar and the cold plunge in the sauna!

Had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins at the A-Frame Club. The grill was closed but everything else was open and my partner and I took full advantage. Having a sauna and cold plunge on-site were fantastic and exactly why we booked here. We came right before the ski season started so the pricing was very affordable! Huge thanks to Emily for upgrading us and extending our checkout!

We had an amazing wedding weekend at the airframe club! The staff and specifically Kelly who headed up Managing all our plans before and during the weekend were outstanding. Everyone involved was unbelievably accommodating and capable of taking care of us and our guests. We had some weather issues and there was always a Plan B and a plan C in place to make sure that everyone was happy and taken care of. We couldn't be more thankful and could not recommend it more highly. The rooms are just cool! The food was tasty and feeling was unforgettable! Thank you all....Michael + Joy

If I could give 10 stars I would. We stayed in a dog friendly cabin which was spotlessly clean. The cabin was curated with such thoughtfulness it’s hard not to notice the details. From the beautiful, four seasons comfortable bed flanked by a deep soaking tub… to the plush robes & slippers…to the miniature chocolates & Tabasco sauce. The grounds have access to a river, hot tub, cold plunge, steam room and more! The staff are so helpful & welcoming. In a world of private equity I was pleased, but not surprised that the cabins are owned by a family in Denver. I will always make my way back to the A Frame Club & you should too! Enjoy!!!!!

As a wedding planner, I helped my couple find and book A Frame Club for their wedding day. Kelly and her team were great throughout the planning process – super responsive and provided a great food and drink tasting for the couple and their parents ahead of the wedding weekend. As for the weekend, the whole team was amazing and super accommodating! Kelly, Joelle, and Emily helped me set everything up while Joe and Max provided a great bar experience. The food was delicious and all the guests, especially the couple, were extremely happy.

Awesome place to stay and excellent value. We loved the elevated details such as our own robe and slippers, heated bathroom floors and hot tub/sauna area. The only downside was getting used to the popping sounds of the cabin settling at night - a bit jarring but we got used to it. The service was five star and it was so easy to text for any requests. If ever in the area again we would stay here for sure!

My buddy and I came in this past weekend and we were really blown away by the amazing staff. What a great crew! Sarah our waitress recommended the Schnitzel and it was just perfection. I really liked the atmosphere that was balanced by really nostalgic classic 50's doo wop. Brought some class for sure. Thanks!

Great cocktails, food and service. We ate in the bar. We each had a could their specialty cocktails, French Onion soup was their own version (quite nice) and for mains, she had the mushrooms and I had the bass.

We have had the worst experience at the A frame club for Christmas Eve. I will never return. After making a reservation weeks early the management called the day of our reservation and changed it from 7:15 to 8 p.m. They tried to tell us the reservation was for 7:45, which was not true. We sat down at 8:10 our first course was served 45 minutes later. The main course finally showed up around 9:30. When we ordered dessert they were out of most choices, as this was a pre fix menu we had already paid for dessert. It is now 10:15 and the few desserts that were left are finally arriving. Our waiter was wonderful, so we are not really sure what the problem has been. We were given a discount. But only after complaining. The management should have been on top of the problem . I know people have eaten here and had a good meal, this was a huge disappointment

I love steak. I love my family. Both were surrounding me at my fabulous dinner table tonight. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve but I already feel spoiled with goodies and treats thanks to A Frame Club! Although there is such a thing as too much fun because too much fun is what killed Bruce Lee. My beautiful family and I arrived at an epic conversation pit style table and immediately perused their delicious cocktails to wet and set our appetites. And ladies let me say mine was set. I got the Midnight Ryder to drink. Not only do I love whiskey but I adore drinks that are served up. ESPECIALLY in a coup. It was just my personality but sippable. I got the NY Strip with the fabulous recommendation of creamy mushroom sauce. I love mush! And shrooms! Tomorrow I am going skiing and I feel like the amount of steak I ate will give me enough energy to bounce back off my behind when I fall down. I think Bruce Lee would feel the same way. I want to ski with him.

Winter Park has been waiting for a spot just like this! Elevated dining with a super cool vibe. The mid-century mod decor is super cool and cozy. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. The food, while pricey, is very good; I think you get what you pay for here. We had the bison past, steak, french onion soup, wedge salad, and the baked feta. We probably didn't need the feta because you get a LOT but it was super tasty. The drinks were decent but I would say a little small. We received coup glasses that were about half way full. Overall, I will be back for cozy mountain vibes!

Had a nice dinner with friends at the Saloon in the A Frame Club, while visiting Winter Park. We had a large group of 11, so they seated us in their private dinning area. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, so we recommend a reservation ahead of time. It's very nicely decorated with a retro-modern, cozy vibe. We started off with drinks and most enjoyed a cocktail. The old fashion was delicious and a group favorite. For food we tried a little bit of everything. A few of the favorites were the Baked Feta, NY Strip, and one of the salads. We really wanted the French Onion Soup, but unfortunately it was sold out. I'd say the menu is more on the upscale, so it may be hard for those picky eaters to find something, but we made it work for our group. The food took some time to come out, so make sure to order a few apps and enjoy the company!

Amazing food, atmosphere and service! Yoni the chef personally came out to meet us and Dillon our server weekly and Sarah tonight was amazing! We are grateful to have such a great place in winterpark!

Terrible experience. We left! We waited 15 minutes and no one came to our table! Will not go back!

A gem in Winter Park off the beaten path, had a fantastic meal with great service, and a fun atmospheric and vibe. Highly recommended! The French Onion Soup is a must. Terrific wine selection too!

What an incredible, cozy, gorgeous, close-to-the-hill place. Everything is adorable, and the bed was beyond comfortable. I want to take everything home. The waygu burger and baked feta was amazing atv the saloon, such a cool, cozy vibe. The staff and service was amazing. I will come back as soon as I can.

This review is just for the cabins as we didn't eat in the Saloon. We were mesmerized by this adorable cabin. It was lovely and comfortable. Be aware the stairs to the loft (with the bed and a bit oddly, the soaking tub) were more like a carpeted ladder. It was a little nerve-racking especially at night having to use the bathroom downstairs. My young adult daughter actually fell down them once, it was an awful sound but more like a slide and all as fine but do make sure everyone in your party is comfortable going up them or okay using the pull out sofa downstairs. I believe there were ADA options too. I wish they had used one of the cabins for a general area like laundry, ice, vending etc. but all in all a beautiful and fun, different option. We loved our stay.

This place is overpriced and pretentious. I paided 18.50 for a watered down martini. I miss WP in its glory days when this place was Adolfs. Stay away and go to the Ditch for a good time.

Had dinner here tonight. Great food, great atmosphere, and our waitress Lauren was fantastic. Salmon and NY Strip streak was awesome. Thank you for a great evening.

Attended a wedding at A Frame Club this July. Due to their incompetence, the ceremony had to be moved from their grass area to the parking lot! The wedding party had to put down yellow tape at steps to avoid risks. We were very lucky it did not rain. They were very ill equipped to do a wedding. The food was awful, the food staff and bar tenders were somewhat apologetic. No stars!

This review is for the restaurant, not the hotel. Jan-March 2023: 4 very good meals shortly after they opened and continuing through the ski season. Kids food, salads, appetizers, entrees -- everything was delicious! These were all solid 4+ star meals. July 2023: super disappointing and obvious that something has changed in the kitchen. The menu still sounded good but the salad was swimming in dressing and didn't look or taste fresh; the kids chicken fingers were no longer fresh and delicious but looked like they were straight out of the freezer; and the entrees were not good -- veggies were over sauced and over cooked, as were the fish/meats. Now it's barely 2 stars and we won't be back unless/until they make a change. I confirmed with the waitress that they did change their chef :( Super bummed that this new favorite to town fell down in quality so fast.

This spot was great!!! Kari was our waitress and made our experience amazing. Stopped in late on a Saturday night & the service was amazingly quick. I ordered the bar steak (steak frites) and WOW. I would definitely order it again! The truffle French fries and peppercorn sauce on the steak... yum. A few folks in my group did a shot ski, so fun.

Love this place! It's a must when staying here. Cocktails are great. Ambiance is stellar. Enjoy!

it's a must go! absolutely incredible vibes. drinks were creative and stellar. the Maxwell cocktail is to die for. the duck pasta is INSANE. baked feta & French onion are great apps. you should go! eat. here.

Our group had a great experience for dinner. We started with the polenta fritters and tuna tartar. Our group had the mushroom entree, dry aged strip, short rib and bison pasta, French onion soup and a couple of salads. All of it was fantastic. It was one of the best meals we've had. The service and drinks were great. Everyone was super friendly and the chef came out to say hello to all the tables towards the end of our meal. We actually considered going back the next night. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Great atmosphere. Nice people. Good food. Fun spot. So nice to have near base of winter park. I would say this is best restaurant at/near base.. We will definitely be back. Would love to see wood fired pizzas on the menu

This place has amazing food and friendly service! We've been here twice in the last week and it's definitely our new favorite in winter park. Chef Nick is fantastic! The duck poutine fries and the short rib are both to die for. Cocktails are fab. Super cool retro ski vibe.

Friendly staff, great tasting apps, but service during the off hours is extremely slow. Waited 45 minutes for one appetizer. Another 45 minutes for drinks.

This was our first time dining here and the food was extremely overpriced and not worth it! Two of my friends got the short rib and immediately got sick. I got the burger and got sick as well. Highly DO NOT recommend.

So the place is cool at a glance, but the cabins are cheaply made and kind when you buy cheap IKEA stuff, and it never lines up. They run discounts and claim it is for all their cabins, but they put you in the ones facing the parking lot, not the river, claiming they were full, yet there were about five cars in the parking lot, and a bunch of the cabins were noticeably empty. On the second night of our stay, the whole cabin was shaking from the Apres party, with about ten people attending with a speaker system for about 500 people. We tried to talk to someone in the office, but we never saw anyone; you were told to call this number, and when you call it, it goes to the bar. The bartender said, and I quote, "I am just a bartender. What do you want me to do about it?" finally, after sitting on hold, I physically moved to a quieter cabin location, which was suddenly open. A-frame is a fake hip, very expensive place as when you take a closer look, it is just cheap.

Yay! Just the bar menu available but decent wine & a very happy vibe. Chef came out to explain our food. French onion soup and hanger steak substitution were highlights! Welcome addition to base area dining!

We tried to stay three nights in the A frame, it didnt work for us, the coffee service was instant coffee made with hot water and served in a tin cup, a huge insult to anyone who likes coffee in the morning, the fully equipped kitchenette had no pots or pans, no way to even fry an egg, or boil water, I can live without a dishwasher, i can live with a two burner range top, but the ridiculous tiny refrigerator would not hold anything important. We left after one night, very very disappointed that such a nice project is being managed so carelessly, Probably a great place if all you want to do is party.

This place is a fantastic spot for dinner. Retro vibes, amazing service (thanks Kari - you rock) and the food!!!! We had the lamb and the greens. The flavors in the food were out of this world. The chef even stopped by and we got to tell him how much we enjoyed his food! Gotta stop by!

10/10 hands down!! So good!! From the vibes to the service to the food, this is what Winter Park needed! The cocktails were top notch, a perfect old fashioned & a delish play on a Manhattan, the midnight Ryder! The vibes were immaculate, think cozy ski den meets 80s retro vibes! The food, yum! The burger, the ham sliders, the truffle fries, the vegetable frito mixto, so freaking good!! Definitely excited to return and so excited WP has upped their food game! Don't miss out on this one!

Best new hidden bar in town, highly recommend! Great drinks and food. We have the ratatouille and burger, both 10/10. Amazing vibes and atmosphere too
