A Hotel Joo Chiat

Really enjoyed my stay here! The room was clean and the air-conditioning worked perfectly, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always quick to assist. Overall, a great experience and worth recommending.

My last review is honest. My current review shows remarkable improvement. Internet problem solved. No facilities? No problem. Didn’t book this for facilities. It’s still one of the best dollar for dollar solution for a short work trip. Henry, at the front desk, you’ve outdone yourself. Again. Thank you

Great location, but I had specifically requested a room near the lift. Unfortunately, the room I was assigned was still quite far from it. I would appreciate it if future requests like this could be taken into better consideration. Also, while parking is available, the lot is not suitable for MPV vehicles due to limited height.

A nice and simple hotel located in the charming and laid back Joo Chiat enclave. The hotel is decent and clean, room is a good size with a big bathroom. Although it is a 15 mins from the nearest MRT station, all amenities are nearby A Hotel 😀

Staff is professional, helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. For me the location is very good. It is close to a metro station. There are lots of buses but I never took one. Looking restaurants of all types.

had stayed here with my family for 2 nights. the have many good food and local vibe. Love the shop house design. the room is spacious compared to other hotels in Singapore. room is clean

Transit hotels at the airport booked out so I chose this hotel not far from the airport. The sign out the front was not lit at all. The taxi driver got confused and dropped us at the hotel on the other side of the road. The lady at the reception was nice enough but she looked like she didn't want to be there. The room was moldy and because I have asthma I started to wheez one pump on my ventolin and that resolved that problem. The shampoo dispenser cover fell off the wall when I was using it. I wouldn't stay there if I didn't have to especially for the price they charge!

Booked a room with 3 singles and was told that room was fully booked so the night shift staff placed us in a family room with a double and one single. Went in and first thing that greeted us was a large cockroach. Went to tell the staff and she said she will call housekeeping to look into it but didn't specify a time. This was already quite late. So we told her to move us to a different room and she said the hotel was fully booked. Obviously not the case as we could see other rooms available when we looked up booking sites. So she finally said one room was made available and placed us there. Small room with a double bed and shower was not working (she disappeared rest of the night and we were unable to get a hold of anybody) so do check if showers work, if not, be prepared for a cold shower. Went to ask for the room we had paid for the next day and staff finally said it was now apparently available and moved us, offered no explanation on the first night nor an apology and said 'management will look into it and offer us an explanation or refund of the room we had booked'. It has been a few weeks and we have heard nothing back. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all, terrible service and room was not comfortable. Pity as we had seen good reviews but unfortunately our stay and experience was just the complete opposite.
