This is a nice little local diner type breakfast joint, and it certainly did the job. No frills, not fancy, but absolutely a decent breakfast. That said, I didn't feel like it was anything spectacular either. Still, if you want a good home cooked breakfast, this will do just fine.
I ordered the bacon and cheese omelet, which is what I call a "fold over omelet" -- as in it's a layer of egg that is filled and then folded over on itself. The omelets here are huge, much bigger than your average omelet. It was stuffed full of lots of fillings, and seemed like a very generous serving. I saw some of the other omelets that seemed absolutely massive because they had more fillings. Our friends ordered one and split it, and it was plenty of food. My husband got biscuits and gravy, which seemed decent. It did not come with eggs (something to know). I think the gravy may have been from a mix but it was pretty flavorful, judging from the bite or two I grabbed. My toast was a bit burnt and they only give you one thing of jelly, which seemed a bit stingy.
But overall, totally decent breakfast at an absolutely reasonable price. A nice little spot for a quick bite if you are in town.
