Stayed for a weekend (Nov. '25) and had a wonderful time. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Daniel & Petra we funny, kind and very welcoming and definitely a highlight of the stay. Highly recommend and will stay again if I find my self in Montreal again.

I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful place to stay during my visit to Montréal. The kind (and funny!) hosts made me feel at home right away; the accomodations were cozy and exactly as described. Petra and Daniel had intimate knowledge of the city, and thus provided excellent suggestions for areas to check out with the easiest routes to get there. Their home in a lovely residential section of the city, yet still very close to restaurants, shops, grocery, etc. I had such an incredible and unique experience.

My husband and I spent four nights at A la Carte B&B in the 2-bedroom apartment on the upper floor. The location was perfect for us, as the purpose of the stay was to visit family who reside close by. The B&B is located close to grocery stores, SAQ (alcohol sales) and many other cafes and shops. The apartment was quiet, spacious and well-stocked with every convenience. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and spotless, and everything was in top-notch working order. Free wi-fi and cable TV, as well as a radio/CD player, board games and a DVD player, kept us entertained. To summarize, we could easily move in tomorrow and live happily for years! Sadly, this won't happen, but we will be back again soon! Thank you, Petra and Daniel, for being such excellent hosts.

Petra and Daniel from A la carte B&B gave us a wonderful end to our trip, which ended in Montreal. Beautiful, individually decorated, spacious rooms and, above all, the warm hosts made us feel right at home. Petra marked and explained to us (in German!) on a city map the sights that we should see in Montreal on the one day we unfortunately only had available and how best to get there by public transport. Daniel, as maître de cuisine, provided a varied breakfast with Canadian delicacies, which, together with the other guests, was a nice and entertaining start to the day.

We visited in September last year. Special thanks to Petra and Daniel for making our stay in Montreal a very warm and lovely one. Our room was spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable time. Breakfast was lovely done by Daniel who is very creative! Petra was great in communications and very helpful in guiding us of places around the city. The bnb is conveniently located in the old historic center of Montreal and tucked away in a quiet, safe and walkable neighborhood - just a short walk away from everywhere. Daniel and Petra were always fun to catch for a conversation. Daniel, if you're reading this, remember: Djokovic is the goat!! Sending love from Moscow! Alex and Masha

It was a pleasure to stay at Daniel and Petra's. Their rooms are in a quiet district, not far from the "Plateau du Mont Royal". Petra gives excellent advices about the city. And Daniel cooks great breakfast. Both were very attentive to making our trip as best as possible. I would definitely recommend staying at their B&B.

The hosts were really great and the breakfast was awesome. Especially the crepes. The price was affordable, the room was comfy and clean. We recommend.

Petra and Daniel are amazing and friendly hosts! Petra spent a ton of time with us going over the minutiae of how to get around the city, what highlights we had to see, and giving us restaurant recommendations. Daniel is an inventive chef and came up with delicious hot breakfasts every morning. We stayed 4 nights and he didn't repeat a meal once! They also chat with their guests over breakfast and really make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. Our bathroom didn't have a wall attachment for the shower head, so...we sat for our showers! It was a little weird at first (I'm used to a stand-up shower) but honestly after a whole day of walking around the city, sitting for a shower was a welcome change! They are ideally located too, in a quiet and safe area, and they're close to the bus stop and train station. There's also a cute little street nearby with restaurants and shops. It's relatively easy to get around town with just public transportation alone. We were lucky enough to find free street parking, so we left our car there for our whole visit and relied just on buses/trains/walking and saw pretty much everything we wanted to see. Will definitely be staying here again, assuming they're not already all booked up next time we visit!

Yelp
We always stay at Bed and Breakfasts when we travel and this one is by far my favorite! I only have great things to say about this place. Daniel and Pertra are the sweetest, best hosts! When we arrived, we were welcomed with a cold beer. They are very knowledgeable about the area and not only recommended to us the best places to check out, but Petra gave us a map and took the time to mark the different locations and showed us the best routes to take. They told us the best place to exchange our money so we weren't ripped off. By the end of the weekend, I wanted to take their pup Monsieur Petit home. He is such an adorable pup, and so well behaved too. Breakfast was delicious and our room was roomy but cozy. :)

Yelp
Fantastic hospitality and the sweetest little dog! Location down the block from pubs, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, etc. I rented the 2br apartment - it's gorgeous and spacious. It has its own private second for patio & fireplace. The fire was built, all I had to do was light the match. I should mention, the apartment is on the second floor (lots of stairs) so downstairs rooms would be best for anyone having trouble navigating stairs. I will be back next time I'm in Montreal. I would definitely recommend!

Yelp
What a delightful place to stay while exploring Montreal! My family rented the "condo" upstairs for three days. We had 2 bedrooms, a luxurious bath, a full kitchen, a dining area and a living room. The bus lines were 1/2 block away so we purchased a three-day pass and saw the sites. Daniel is a charming host and welcomed us warmly (as did Monsieur Petit, their miniature poodle. I am allergic to dogs, but given he is a poodle, like bichons, we folks with allergies have no worries.) Petra gave us a complete tour of our apartment, and then sat down with us for almost an hour explaining the great public transport system, how to get a bus pass, the latest exhibits at the museums, etc. She was a wealth of information and helped us make the most of our time there. Beds were comfortable, everything was decorated nicely, and the rooms were spotless. If ever back in Montreal, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at the A La Carte B&B in Montreal. The B&B is not in downtown but it is a short bus/metro ride away from all major attractions. It is also off a main street which hosts many different restaurants, a supermarket, laundromat, bars, and shopping options. Petra and Daniel have a beautiful, clean, well-decorated house that was so cozy and comfortable to stay in. For the value and comfort - this was a great deal and option for anyone visiting Montreal. For those allergic to animals, the owners do have a miniature poodle who likes to run around the house. However, for dog lovers, he is the cutest, friendliest dog you will ever meet. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at À la Carte. Petra and Daniel are wonderful hosts and our fellow guests were very pleasant. Daniel's breakfasts were almost too good--in order to take advantage of all the good pastries in Montréal we had a second breakfast in lieu of lunch each day. Although the neighborhood is a bit out of the way, it is full of good pastry shops and restaurants, near to the botanic garden, and only a short bus ride to the Métro. We definitely recommend!
