America's Absolute Best Pie Shops

"With two Seattle locations and founded in 2009 by Chris Porter, this shop focuses on Pacific Northwest ingredients and handmade on-site pies that capture regional flavors and playful combinations. I enjoyed the signature Blue Hawaiian (blueberries, crushed pineapple, and toasted coconut), Marionberry & Hazelnut with local fruit and a nut-marbled crust, and the cinnamon-spiked Mexican Chocolate Mousse, plus adorable single-serving “pie babies” in all the signature fruit flavors." - Veronica Stoddart

This is our go-to dessert location in West Seattle! Fun atmosphere, but only gave 3 stars because very limited seating. They do have outdoor tables right now. All pies have been amazing. My favorite are the Peanut Butter (seasonal), Cookies and Cream and Banana Cream pie. Quick and easy service, very friendly staff!

We visited for a little post-graduation pie celebration and thoroughly enjoyed this place! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We tried the Shepherds Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Strawberry-Rhubarb, Sour Cherry, Marionberry, and Banana pies. All were as delicious as the were gorgeously made. 10/10 for the Banana Pie 🥧 and the Chicken Pot Pie was an 11/10 for flavor and nostalgia, reminding me of a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup and watching the Price is Right staying home sick from school 🍲 Plenty of nearby parking as well as some fun shopping. Absolutely recommend a visit.

Whoever made the Mexican Mouse today must not have done a taste test. The whipped cream is pungent (could be rotten) and not sweet at all. The chocolate portion is overly spiced and leaves a gnarly after taste behind. $10/slice and I had to toss it after two bites. Definitely recommend quality control as this wasn’t the first time having a bad experiencing (was giving it another chance). There are better pies at places that don’t have “pie” in their name or claim to specialize in pies. Skip this place.

I was craving an apple pie and thought I would give this place a try. Epic failure. Paid $8 for a slice of RAW pie! ‍ I'm sorry to be so harsh, but this is a specialty pie shop and they can't even bake a basic apple pie! This is majorly disappointing. Save yourself a couple bucks and settle for mediocre, fully baked pie from the market.

I drove to West Seattle just for pie. Was not disappointed. Finished my first Blue Hawaiian for breakfast the morning after.

Friday, August 1st my sister & I had a lunch & shopping day in the Junction. Talarico’s didn’t disappoint , nor did the latte from Easy Streets. My sister eyeballed A La Mode and said let’s try it! I was reluctant but knew it could be a while before we head back that way since neither of us lives in the area. The store was aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, and the pies/flavors looked appetizing. The most aggravating thing was thinking we’d be getting a good dessert after dinner. NOPE! While the Apple pie was cute to look at, there was literally no flavor whatsoever. It was bland, spice-free, and the crust was barely browned. The crust had a teeny tiny bit of sugar crumble but that was the only thing I could actually taste. I would’ve genuinely preferred a fresh apple over that slice of BS. I tried adding spices but to no avail. That crap went straight into the trash. Then I read to the side of the box stating that this place was voted best pie by “everyone”. That is an entire LIE. I must advocate against their God-awful Apple pie. Whoever made that mess should be ashamed to even try calling that pie!

Great pies! Had the sour cherry ala mode and was great. They also have a punch card.
