La Villa Creole Home stay

We stayed at La Villa Creole Home Stay and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was very beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with a lovely vintage chair where you can sit back and relax — it really added to the charm and ambience of the place. The washroom was a bit tiny, and the room has thin walls, as we could hear voices from the next room. Also, the starting stretch of the road leading to the property had a strong unpleasant smell, which was quite off-putting, but thankfully it’s only for a short distance — once you cross that part, the rest of the road is absolutely fine. On the plus side, the location is excellent. The stay is at a walkable distance from Rock Beach and is almost centrally located — close to the French Colony, Vinayagar Temple, Kamatchi Hotel, and several cafés and bakeries, making it very convenient to get around. We had booked a hut stay but were provided with an AC room instead. We were also informed that they are planning to open a kitchen within the premises soon, which would be a great addition. The manager deserves a special mention — he was very polite and helpful, especially since we had a late check-in. He’s from Hyderabad as well, which made the interaction even more pleasant. Overall, it’s a good stay for the ambience and easy commute to nearby attractions. A nice option if location and vibe matter to you.

We recently stayed for 3 nights and appreciated the warm welcome and good hospitality. However, the experience seems better suited for a short one-night stay. Room cleaning was not done properly even after making a request, which was disappointing. Also, the car parking is available only outside the property, which is slightly inconvenient. Overall, I would rate the stay 3/5 — the price does not quite match the facilities and services offered.

The hut room i booked from agoda stated private bathroom , but actual scenario is common bathroom shared by 3 hut rooms . Its disappointing how agoda and the proeprty did not sort such basic things out and mention right details. The place is too cramped and nartow to opt for any other room as well.

Great place with heritage look ..it's so convenient location for all in Pondicherry. Rooms are so well maintained and service is impressive .. thanks for giving best room with twin beds for family stay , krishna sir and madam thank you so much your welcome makes us so Lovely ...100% recommendable .

Place is good rooms are also okeyish the guy at reception is polite But the female owner is too arrogant mistakes are meant to happen but there is a way to tell They are not giving free services to be that arrogant she should learn some manners If you want to be peaceful don’t ever come to this stay

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The entire property has a beautiful historical charm and a very peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are exceptionally clean, neat, and well-maintained, reflecting great attention to detail. The service was excellent throughout my stay — staff were very courteous, responsive, and always willing to help. Overall, a perfect blend of history, tranquility, and top-notch service.
