Passed by a couple of times unknowing that this please had maybe the best food we have had on Moorea. Even though they were very busy , the girl serving us took the time and explained the whole menu in English and helped us choose our dishes. Great live music.Best coconut ice cream!!Don't miss it !

We also stopped by bc of the Google reviews, we were sat fairly quickly but the staff took so long to take our order, and the burgers we ordered took even longer! When they did arrive, they were cold and unfortunately not good. Fries were not fresh. Patties tasted frozen. Not a good spot for burgers. Definitely expect at least 2 hr wait. Restroom was nice! & they did offer us homemade lemonade as a "sorry for inconvenience," but it was not satisfying...Definitely needed sugar. Very acidic!

Highly recommend. I had the chicken panini and it was awesome. The husband and wife that own this are very kind, and they do speak English too if you don’t speak French. The sandwhiches are large but portable to take with you as you walk, but there is also seating available for dine in. There are vegetarian options also.

Not only great food, but the friendliest staff! They make the experience here great. An awesome casual spot, especially if you are at the beach across the street.

We went here due to the good review on Google, and when we got there, there was a long line. We weren't bothered by it, and we seated fairly quick. The food was good (at first, more to come on this), and the atmosphere was nice with live music. The wait was fairly long after placing our order, we were told to expect 45-60 minutes which turned to be about twice that long. However, we weren't phased because we're we on Holiday time. Once the food got to the table it was descent, not great, not terrible. 3 hours later.....wife is on the ground crying outside the ferry station due to stomach pains. The devil its self had shown it's face in the form of the feared double shot of food poisoning. Both ends were exploding. This went on for hours. I thought I was clear of the beast until.....5 hours later. Waiting to get on the plane the Tahiti, I suddenly became dizzy and nauseous. I knew I would soon face the same fate as my poor wife. This went on for hours at the airports and on the plane until we reached Hawaii. Agony is the only word I can summon to describe the experience that was cursed upon us. I personally don't blame the food, but the Citronade....don't test your fate and stick to canned soda or un opened water bottles.

Excellent roulotte. Typical food cooked in an exceptional way. Rustic atmosphere, truly Polynesian. Too bad I discovered it on the last day, otherwise I would have gone there every day. Recommended!!!

Visiting Moorea and looking for a must-try restaurant? Look no further than L'Heure du Sud! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. L'Heure du Sud definitely deserves its 5-star rating. If you're in Moorea, don't miss out on this amazing culinary experience!

What a phenomenal meal! Come here when you have some time because service and cooking time is slow. But just when I wondered if we should have come another day the food arrived and we had 0 regrets! I got the trio de sud with salmon sashimi, scallops and shrimp. It was incredible! Especially the scallops! My husband got the fish burger which was also great! We got uru fries which we hadn’t had before that were also fun to try. Definitely stop by here for a great lunch
