The best hidden gem in Maine. We booked A Little Dream based on other google reviews and it far surpassed our expectations. The host, Joanne, was so lovely and welcoming - we felt so at home. The rooms are so cozy and comfortable with amazing views. Exactly what we were looking for in Maine. Breakfast was amazing - better than any restaurant and we are so thankful we got to spend time here. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful place ! We enjoyed our stay with Joanne and Billy, for 4 nights in the Treetops Suite. Well appointed with nice furnishings in the sitting room, bedroom, and porch. The breakfasts were divine and Joanne offered great advice for activities and restaurants as well as shopping. Since Camden was very busy the last week of Sept as leaf peeping season was starting up, Joanne wisely recommended getting dinner reservations in advance. Be sure to go to the Farnsworth museum in Rockland, and the local lighthouses. Walk or drive up Mt Battle for a great view. Quaint Dahlia garden nearby too, if you like flowers.

It had been several years since our last stay at A Little Dream, but it was everything wonderful that we had remembered about this beautiful bed and breakfast. JoAnne was truly accommodating in finding room for us during a very busy weekend in Camden. She is a warm and gracious host and is very interested in the comfort of her guests. She has a wealth of knowledge about things to do and places to dine. There are many "treats" available for guests to enjoy: cookies, chocolates, coffee and tea, sherry. Bills's breakfasts continue to be very creative and delicious. The Camden area is a delightful part of the Maine coast, and staying at the quiet oasis of A Little Dream certainly enhances the experience. We look forward to returning to this special destination!

If you are looking to be pampered, served exquisite breakfasts, and have educated conversation, look no further than A Little Dream B&B in Camden, Maine. Joanne and Billy are a formidable team worth their weight in gold! The accommodations are decorated in a Victorian manner that transports you back to an earlier era while maintaining all the comforts of modern day. Each room is larger than is typical of most B&B's and several have a private balcony. We stayed in the "treetops room" and enjoyed amazing views of the harbor from our deck each evening. Joanne goes above and beyond when it comes to her guests referring to them as her "beloved guests". Billy's breakfasts are unbelievably filling and delicious! The muffins were the best we had on this trip! Everything you read on their website is true and then some! We will definitely be back again!

My husband and I were traveling up the coast with Bar Harbor as our destination. We had trouble booking a room, and as Camden was on the way, we looked for a B&B. There are many in Camden, but only one for us. JoAnna quickly assured us that Camden, Maine was the BEST place to see Maine. She also made sure that we knew all the places to go. Billy's breakfast is amazing. ||The rooms in "A Little Dream" are perfect. The beds are fluffy, the colors are warm, the bathrooms are cozy and relaxing. || We have been visitors in the spring and the fall. It was exquisite both seasons. ||We have been to many B&B establishments. This is our favorite. There is detail and a story to every nook of their home. ||I am skeptical of reviews that are 5 stars...but in this case, the stars are justified. "A Little Dream" makes my heart happy. Thank you JoAnna and Billy, you are the best!

This is the most gorgeous B&B. It was like being guests in the beautiful home of good friends. We will never stay anywhere else when we are in the Camden area and will plan all future trips to Maine around the Inn's availability. Each room is beautifully appointed with artistic flair and lovely furnishings. A more comfortable bed we cannot remember. Breakfast was like eating at a five star restaurant. This is truly a place for a special occasion or simply a perfect relaxing getaway. We can't wait to return. Thank you Joanne and Billy! ||Donna & John

I stayed with JoAnn and Billy in 2018 and we came in 2019 because they offer the best in what we looked for in a bed and breakfast. So much so we are returning in 2020 with two other couples. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The landscaping is immaculate. We stayed in the TreeTop to have the deck and view of the bay. The breakfast prepared by Billy is top notch. He never fails! JoAnn is the perfect Host. All the rooms are eclectically decorated reflecting their artistic background. Plan to be with them for years to come.

We’ve been visiting and staying here for about 15/20 years now. Frankly, I’ve lost track, but we always return when we visit Camden and this part of Maine. Joanne, the innkeeper, spends much attention to detail and each room, both the common areas and the suites, are decorated meticulously. Some rooms have terrific harbour views. Complimentary breakfasts are over the top, as prepared by Billy, the other half of the innkeeper couple. Joanne is always most helpful and helped plan many of our days. The inn is a few minutes drive to the town of Camden, which in itself and the harbour, is a must visit. Another must visit is the nearby town of Rockport with its own unique harbour and a few excellent restaurants, and a little further, the town of Rockland, with the famous Farnsworth museum featuring the works of the Wyeth family of painters.

Yelp
A delightful inn located conveniently a very short drive or walk to the center of town. We stayed in the separate carriage house that was roomy w a large outdoor patio .The furnishings and decor were beautiful with a lot of thought going into the decorating. The breakfasts were great and the hosts gave us some great tips on local sights and restaurants.

Yelp
This is indeed a dream of a bed and breakfast! It is absolutely perfect in every way ... location: walkable to Camden Harbor - past lively historic homes and gardens View: watch the boats sail by the islands or just admire the lovely gardens Food: 4 course truly gourmet breakfast (and sherry and chocolate at night) Cleanliness: immaculate! Rooms: gorgeously furnished, extremely roomy, each room has large outside deck with rocking chairs to view the gardens and ocean Bathrooms: totally modern with top-notch facilities Beds: drift off to sleep on the perfect mattress and pillow Innkeepers: Joanne and Bill are sincerely welcoming and will become your close friends to whom you will want to return time and again

Yelp
One of the nicest inns we have stayed in. There is so much to comment on that was so exquisite that I will confine my comments to the Bed! This was the first time in traveling for decades that I did not unpack my pillow. The Hungarian down pillows and comforter were the best. Sheets Egyptian cotton and like silk only better. Perfect firmness and Joanne's trick to add a final layer of some special foam made this bed the best I have ever slept in. My bed at home is a Duxiana and this was better. So impressed. Yelp
A truly fabulous B&B. The breakfast is 5-star quality. The rooms were lovely and the beds comfy. The location is very easy to find. Parking is ample but a tiny bit tight. The real gem is the proprietor, Joanne. She is friendly and a fountain of local knowledge and recommendations. She knows where to eat, where to park, what to see. She will give you all the local secrets. Listen to her, she knows her stuff.

Yelp
My spouse and I stayed at A Little Dream Bed and Breakfast for five nights in July 2018. We stayed in the Treetop room which is like a s mm all apartment with excellent water views from the deck. The pros of staying here are excellent breakfast - expect to eat a lot of fruit, free water bottles, free WiFi which was spotty at times, spectacular views and beautiful landscaping. Joanne was very informative of where to eat and things to do. The cons of this B & B are check-in a bit awkward, parking can be tricky if the B&B is filled to capacity, only one entrance and exit so he extra careful, the need to use a key in order to enter the main house for breakfast (place should be open during certain hours), some of the furniture is outdated and the steps are narrowgoing upstairs to the Treetop room. Suggestions for improvement would be to add a microwave in the suite, update the main webpage with new photos, and add a separate link for guests to enter their breakfast choices. I would not recommend this place for those with mobility challenge s , not wheelchair accessible and not for young children. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

Yelp
Five Star Stay! My wife and I spent four wonderful days and nights at A Little Dream B&B in Camden, Maine in July, 2012. I don't know if I can do justice to describing why we enjoyed it so, but I'll try. There's so much to do in and around Camden, Maine, yet it was hard to leave the premises!!! Our private room was right out of a House Beautiful magazine (as were all the others we were able to peek into) and it was difficult to choose which of the common sitting rooms to spend time reading, writing, relaxing. Each one outdid the other, with paintings, photos, antiques, unique and comfortable furniture, and flowers. Everywhere one looked was a photo op. The breakfasts themselves were works of art as presented, and were very enjoyable meals to long remember. We had high hopes about A Little Dream before arriving, but even they were surpassed by leaps and bounds. One more point: My wife and I have stayed in many B&B's over the years and we both agree that JoAnne and her husband Bill are the most gracious, informative and pleasant hosts we've ever come across. So do you think we'll be back to A Little Dream anytime soon? The answer, YOU BET!!!!! Fred and Ellen, Long Beach NY

Yelp
Stunning location for a an amorous weekend. Second visit was even more wonderful than the first. JoAnne is an extraordinary inn keeper; her husband Billy is an equally fine breakfast chef. Both have exquisite taste. JoAnne seems to have a special genius for creating romantic experiences that cross food, ambiance, art, music and perfectly pitched suggestions for the best meal or the best sail or the best walk. You really must go.

Yelp
Amazing place. Gourmet breakfast. Elegance everywhere. Every detail thought of. Wonderful host. We plan to return soon.

Yelp
My husband and I found this beautiful inn about 17 years ago for our honeymoon. We fell in love with the inn and it's owners immediately. We make every effort to return as often as possible short of winning the lottery and moving in with JoAnne and Billy. They always recommend great restaurants and even suggested a hike on Monhegan Island during one visit and packed up a bag of things we'd need for the day. We've stayed in quite a few of the beautiful rooms and we do have our favorites and have yet to try out some of the others. Every evening we look forward to our breakfast menu hanging on the door before bedtime. Always a great selection to choose from. Billy's muffins are homemade everyday and we eat every morsel before heading out for our day or just hanging around our room enjoying the views. It's the kind of place that has made us realize that life is too short not to make time to relax and visit good friends. Can't wait for our trip later this year. You really need to make the trip to picturesque Camden Maine!

Yelp
We stayed in the converted barn suite with a huge deck overlooking Camden Harbor. Absolutely everything is superb. If not happy here, one could not be happy anywhere.
