Stylish and elegantly furnished house, lovely setting in a quiet area of La Baule, walking distance from the sea. Excellent opportunity to practise speaking French, although Valerie speaks excellent English. Breakfasts were delicious with a wide variety of offerings, homemade jams, croissants, pastries, and something different cooked each day. The restaurant recommendations from Valerie were excellent, one within walking distance looking out across the bay, and others a very short drive away. We visited St Nazaire to explore the WWll history which was fascinating, and the Commonwealth War Graves cemetery nearby. It is also a short drive to the Brière National park, and the walked town of Guerande famous for its salt production.

We spent 4 nights in this magnificent property in the middle of a beautiful garden. Great friendly welcome from Valérie the owner. Our room was large with view on the garden, comfortable beds and convenient bathroom.|This place is so quiet that one can fall asleep easily even in day time. Valérie is a master cook, and one can immediately tell when having dinner (on request) and breakfast. Everything is home made! |Overall, this is a charming place where guests will enjoy "baby sitting" from Valérie. |Congratulations and thank you!

Beautiful house with gorgeous, well appointed rooms. We stayed in Gustavia which is spacious and beautifully decorated; the bed was really comfortable. There was an excellent walk in shower and lovely touches on arrival such as biscuits and caramels locally made. We spent a bit of time in the lovely quiet garden. There were seats in both the shade of the pines and direct sun. The breakfast is fantastic- just as delicious and well presented as the photos. The homemade jams/caramel were exquisite. There were plenty of options for breakfast. Valerie is a superb hostess and do friendly and helpful. It has been a pleasure to get to know her. We plan to return either later this year or in 2023.

Exceptional Simply exceptional, the house, room and garden. Exceptional location 5 mins walk to beach, plentiful and easy free street parking next to hotel. Exceptional breakfast all freshly prepared (you must try the poached eggs) Exceptional table d'hotes meal in the evening, home cooking to an exceptional standard and value, apero, 3 courses and wine included. Most exceptional of all, Valerie, very rarely do you find a host so natural, friendly and welcoming. Truly merits all the great reviews.

Wonderful place !! pretty room, great owners, delicious breakfast, we will come back for sure !||Our room had a private access and a little terrace. Beautiful decoration, the breakfast was homemade (marmelades, crepe, scarmbled eggs with bacon, fresh fruits salad, etc). Thanks again !

Had a fantastic stay, very well looked after by Valerie. We loved our separate entrance via private terrace. Breakfast was amazing with homemade produce, poached eggs, crepes - anything you want. Ate at the nearest beach restaurant which was fantastic.

For the second year in a row we stayed at Valeries place for a number of days. |Why? A number of reasons; the location is wonderful but what is realy striking is the tranquility and perfect rooms (we tried several). The breakfast is gorgious including fresh fruits, eggs prepared as you wish, French toast (my favorite).|And yes we will return again.

Thank you Valerie for such a great expirience. My friends and I were really enjoying our stay! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, decorated with a great taste and only few steps from the beach. And breakfast was just perfect.
