A Nice Place on the Beach

As of Jan 1 2025 this place is gone. The roofs are off the buildings and the shade structures are torn down. There is talk of reopening in another spot. It WAS a really nice place.

Great hospitality and a nice restaurant right on the beach. A very relaxed vibe. If you are a hippie, you will love this place!

Went to use the umbrellas for the day and have a few drinks. $200 for the umbrella, 2 beers and 2 micheladas (40 each and 70 each) which was okay, but when the bill came they added an extra $100 for no reason. Showed the guy on the calculator, which he agreed our bill was only 420, not 520. We paid and he never brought back change. I'll agree it's a great view, and the drinks were decent priced, but the older bar waiter with a mustache is a thief. Check your bill and pay exact change or only what you want to tip.

I didn't stay at the hotel. However, I did eat the restaurant several times. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. Breakfasts and dinners are great! I particularly enjoy the Heuvos Mexicana, the Chilaquiles, and the Bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast combo - the combo even includes a coffee or juice. The Agua Fresca is really fresh. At night, the Pescado Empanizado is great. The margaritas are good and cheaper than anywhere else on the beach! It is quiet in the morning and early afternoon. At night, it is often hard to find an available table. Enjoy!!

Good value for the low price, paid 275 pesos for private room with two double beds (low season). Few steps from the sea, you hear the waves to your room. Very kind owner. Not very fresh toilets or showers but you definitely get more than what you pay for. No wifi which was surprising.

Some of the best priced food and drink on the beach. We went for sunset a few times and indulged in the 2 for 70 peso cocktails. Strong and tasty drinks. Good vibes here! ...seemed like a local hangout, good spot to meet others. The staff was super friendly! We tried the guacamole and found it to be very filling for two people. Also went for a big canadian style breakfast one day. Loved it! We'll be back for sure! 😀

Great staff! Bad owner! She blamed her staff for being new but the bad interactions were with her. I don’t understand her logical. Eric was great and the others as well but not the owner. I had the menu in my hand trying to order. The owner looked at me 3 times and when she finally came order she said the kitchen was closed at 4:02pm and the menu said it closed at 4:30pm. I ate there 3 times with no problem until the owner was on duty.

We went for dinner, but they were very dishonest and overcharged us. I ordered the fish tacos which on the menu said they came with 6 tacos. When I ordered, the owner said they had an option which wasn’t listed on the menu to have the fish with tempura instead of breadcrumbs which she said she highly recommended. When the food came there was only 3 tacos not 6. Then when the bill came the tacos were much more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When we ordered she did not tell us either of this. Such a rip off. Avoid
