A PADARIA PORTUGUESA LISBON What a great bakery this is for either take out or sit in food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and patient when we placed our order and everything tasted great. There is a huge variety of food and drinks on order, we had Coffee with a cheese & ham toasted sandwich along with tea & chocolate cake. Very good quality food at a fair price.

Pão de deus was very good. It’s traditional Portuguese sweet bread topped with coconut, sugar, and egg yolk. Reasonable price 1,45€ matches well with espresso and good location near a park.

The place has great decor balance, mixing traditional and current trends. If you are looking for an easy and relaxed place for breakfast in this area than this bakery should tick all your boxes. Quick and polite staff, all with good command of English, will help you with your selection. All prices are pretty much standard for Lisbon and everything on offer is freshly baked. Delicious!

It's one of those places, staff is amazing and really good vibe but the food is well below average. They should really stick with the bakery because their hot meals, including the bitoque, are really disappointing.

Good cappuccino, soft and tasty brioche and (very very sweet) pistachio-pastry. Service and atmosphere ok.

Yesterday, A Padaria Portuguesa in Lisbon offered the perfect pitstop for a delightful coffee break. The rich aroma of coffee greeted us as we entered, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our coffees were bold and flavorful, the perfect pick-me-up. But the real star was the Pasteis de Nata – the flaky pastry and creamy custard were an absolute delight. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. A Padaria Portuguesa gets a big thumbs up – highly recommend for anyone seeking a delicious and authentic taste of Lisbon!

A great place for a quick bite. We had coffee only but it was a good quality and well priced. The food options, both sweet and savoury looked appealing. We seek these diners out for the consistent experience. Highly recommended.

Yelp
TL;DR - A chain serving good food, but this branch is special. We didn't actually realise this was part of a chain when we walked in because it looked like a high end deli. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and were very good, and the staff spoke perfect English. There's quite a bit of seating in the rear, including an outdoor courtyard. We had a couple of pastries, both filled with Nutella and one also filled with strawberries. We had freshly squeezed orange juice too - a perfect breakfast to set us up for a day of sightseeing. This is part of a chain, but the design and layout of this branch make it a cut above. LGBT+ friendly too, with a progress flag clearly posted in the window. There are toilets for customers located in the basement.

Yelp
Ultimate favourite coffee/breakfast spot on our trip to Lisbon, ordering system super efficient and prices you couldn't even ask to be fair for the 3/4 course (smaller) breakfast they serve for it. Well done.

Yelp
A perfect spot for breakfast. We love going where the locals go to see how they start their days. It's a two minute walk from our hotel. We had the egg custard, freshly squeezed OJ , fresh fruit, Greek yogurt with granola and cafe au lait. We watched the locals eat ham and cheese, egg custard and espresso. The wait staff is friendly. You take a ticket (choose from the to go or the eat in). When your number is called you place your order, take your food and sit anywhere. There is an outside area and two rooms for dining in. It was so good we had breakfast here every morning.

Yelp
We went here for a quick breakfast and cafe on Labour Day. Many of the other cafes were closed. This location has a nice patio in the back. Very friendly quick service. We had ham and cheese croissants but the other pastries looked pretty yummy too.

Yelp
The best place period for coffee and deserts even though it's a chain. Can be found in neighborhoods all across Lisbon.

Yelp
A Padaria Portuguesa is a chain with a number of busy places. This one is decorated very nicely, the selection of bread, pastery and even scones is huge and very nice. This is also true for the espresso - very good! As a plus, the place is very cosy. We will book our next breakfast here for sure!
