A Pirate’s Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas at Magic Kingdom is a fun interactive attraction, especially for kids and fans of Pirates of the Caribbean. It works like a treasure hunt, guiding guests through Adventureland with hidden effects and surprises. Children will find it magical, while adults can enjoy it as a light and entertaining break between the bigger rides.

As a local, annual pass holder, and someone who has been coming to Disney for decades this is definitely a ride to see as it is one of the older rides. It is a boat ride so you have the chance of getting wet. The ride has low light and spoiler alert it does have a small drop so if you do not like that I would not ride this ride. Over the years that have added stuff to the ride which I think has made it worse actually. However I still think it’s one of the best rides to see and if you are a tourist or one time trip to Disney I recommend this ride.

Nice ride, it would be perfect if wasn’t too crowded, and it looks like they avoid mix different families at same boat sitting queue, this kinda increase waiting times for other guests.

Here you can have a free Pirates of the Caribbean map. It is a game throughout Discoveryland where you need to find clues. There are spots to find where you can scan a little card to hear something and see an animation. It is a really fun thing to do! Although it can be a bit tricky with the restoration work around the place at the moment. But you can keep the map as a free souvenir which is amazing.

Amazing ride. Was really impressed by the inside of it. It looked like you were outside and it was dark. The animatronics were lifelike and overall a good experience.

One of the best rides here at the park. An immersive slow and dark boat ride that takes you through many different scenes of a pirates adventure. This ride is very well done with the animatronics, lighting and atmosphere. Highly recommend waiting for this ride.

A Pirate’s Adventure is a great way to explore Adventureland and get rewarded. The wait to get started is usually very short. Once you get a map, you are asked to find various locations around Adventureland to complete the quest. Many items you think are just normal props turn out to be great interactive elements. When you complete two full quests, you are rewarded with a FastPass for Pirates of the Caribbean (for your party). This is a great way to move around and explore instead of waiting in a standby line.

Google
A fantastic "hidden" treasure hunt that is a great way to spend 30 minutes while waiting for a restaurant or lightning lane reservation! Start at this building to get your map. When you see people walking around secretly with treasure maps and touching certain objects, this where they started!

Yelp
Not sure why people are reviewing the Pirate's of the Caribbean ride here. This is not the ride. This is a treasure/scavenger hunt in Adventureland. And it is a lot of fun for kids. They get a map and have to find hidden objects scattered all throughout Adventureland. It is interactive and there are some really cool effects (avoiding spoilers). Highly recommend if you're needing to kill some time (only takes 15-20min).

Yelp
This is a really cute interactive pirate scavenger hunt. You have four missions you can go on with specific maps for each mission. For every two missions you complete you get a Fastpass to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride!! If you're trying to maximize your fastpasses, then this is a must-visit. We only got one card even though two of us did it so maybe it's a fastpass for the entire party? I'm not sure and I didn't think to ask. It's really cute but when I went February 2020 there was at least one mission that had a step that didn't work. Why they didn't just stop handing out maps for that one until they got it fixed, I honestly don't know. Of course that's the one we ended up with so we didn't get to complete a mission and didn't have time to do another one. But it was still a lot of fun!

Yelp
This is an awesome attraction at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World! It's basically a super high tech scavenger hunt through Adventureland. You go to the Pirate's Adventure building and touch your theme park ticket up to a computer screen. Your ticket is your "magic talisman" and you are randomly assigned one of five different treasure hunts. You collect the map that's assigned and you are on your way! You have to search for the clues that are provided and when you find the next location, you touch your "magic talisman" up to it and something magical happens. If you are successful in your endeavors, Captain Jack Sparrow himself thanks you by voice! This thing kept us entertained for hours and is a great alternative when the park is busy and the lines are long. The treasure maps are super high quality and make great souvenirs (they are free and you can keep them). We did all 5 treasure maps and had a blast hunting for all the clues. We don't have any kids so yes, adults are allowed to partake in the adventure hunt and no, it's not too juvenile for grown ups. I don't want to spoil the adventure but let's just say that every map has clues that are totally immersive and interactive. I was really blown away by the creativity of this. The Disney imagineers have really outdone themselves with this!

Yelp
This scavenger hunt type game is quite fun for the kids. When touring around Magic Kingdom we noticed several groups of people with treasure maps. This of course peaked the curiosity of my oldest kid and we were destined to find out what it was all about. Located right past the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride you will find a small house. Inside you are given a map and small business card sized item to help on your quest. Our first stop was given to us when we got the map. Once we found that spot on the map we scanned the card and followed the instructions for the next stop. Each stop had some neat hidden aspect most people in the park would never see. Finding all of the stops only took a half hour or less and was a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be. There are three different missions you can take so make sure and follow your own map. If you watch other people with maps, they may be on a different mission than you. if they are and you follow them, you will get lost. If you have kids, I suggest you give this adventure a try.

Yelp
Great semi-hidden attraction in the magic kingdom. This is located only in Adventureland and is separate from the sorcerers quest. This is really a high tech scavenger hunt that allows you to explore parts of Adventureland when the other activities get too boring or you wait for someone in a long line. You register your admission card in the hut and then pick up the map they provide You then hunt for the different venues where you piece together a puzzle and earn collectible cards. In all honesty we didn't know about this until we saw someone activate a station we were practically sitting on. My 9, 7 and 6 year olds loved this and I did too. My only complaint was I wish there were a few more stations. Overall definitely check this out on your second day of your visit to the magic kingdom. Definitely something to keep the interest of your tweeners when the swiss family robinson tree house doesn't keep them interested any further.

Yelp
Are you kidding me? Anything less than 5 stars is just proof that some folks can never be happy! It's the "Magic Kingdom",.... buck up and get in there. Enjoy!

Yelp
We were unsure about this at first. Without spoiling anything, each map takes about 10-20 minutes and is super fun! We did Blackbeards because he is my favorite and it was so much fun. There is a giant pearl and a cannon involved so I'm biased! The next time we come back, I will do the rest. We did 2 maps and it was really cool! Definitely worth it to check it out! You will not be disappointed! We didn't have any kids in our group of 4 and we all loved it.
