We had a great meal here! This is a traditional Portuguese restaurant serving high-quality food. The chicken soup was excellent, the codfish with potatoes and vegetables was delicious, and the pork steaks with salad were very tasty, all paired with a good wine. The staff was friendly, polite, and very welcoming — they also speak Italian and English. Highly recommended! 🇵🇹🍷🍽️

This place is truly a hidden gem loved by the locals. The restaurant was filled with local diners, which is always a good sign. The bacalhau (salted cod) and cuttlefish were absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic. The grilled sardines were cooked just right — perfectly charred on the outside and tender on the inside. A must-visit if you want an authentic local dining experience!

Super local spot near the tourist drag. The service was SO friendly, and food came out pretty quick, considering it's run by a family of only 3. Watching the grandma handling the kitchen on her own is mesmerizing! Incredibly reasonable prices for very good grilled seafood and pork sausages. Their ham off the bone is incredible too. Can definitely recommend if you're in the area, but be aware the queues are pretty long if you hit the lunchtime rush! Get there early 😀

This is probably one of the most homey experiences I had. The food is amazing and the service is superb. Make sure to be there before their opening times and bring cash with you.

A local has shown me this restaurant and I’m so happy he did. A better and more authentic meal than most other meals I had in Lisbon, as we were leaving we noticed a line out the door, whom looked mostly like others locals. Also can’t beat these prices in the tourists square!

The service is so warm and friendly! Very unlike other local restaurants!! Their price remains the old time too! Nowadays really difficult to find such friendly price, not to mention they are located in such a touristy location The food is very typical Portuguese style, simple and fresh. Their house wine is from a huge oak! Looks very special

This is a hidden gem behind the tourist hotspot with simple menu run by a family. Very affordable and delicious ! Mum is the chef whilst Dad is usually behind the bar and the daughter is serving. Dad is collecting and displaying different clocks at the restaurant. I went for 2 consecutive nights as they only serve octopus on Thurs, no regret ! Don't forget to try their home-made dessert too !
